I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I went with my partner to visit some family in Montréal and this location was a close enough distance. The house was clean, the a/c and heaters worked, and the washer and dryers were up to standard. Ayobami was an excellent host! He responded quickly and even checked in on us without us prompting. One thing to note is there were some mosquitoes outside the house and they are attracted to the porch light. We asked if we could use some essential oils and Ayobami said yes. This helped deter them. I would definitely book this Airbnb again

Extremely clean and well thought out pieces of furniture. All great quality. The house was superb. The location - mind blowing. The view of the sea and the sunset - absolutely splendid. Un immense merci à notre hôte pour ce merveilleux séjour en famille ! Ce chalet haut de gamme, niché au cœur des bois, est un véritable havre de paix. La décoration épurée et chaleureuse, inspirée du style scandinave, crée une atmosphère apaisante. Nous avons adoré les grandes baies vitrées donnant l’impression de vivre en pleine nature, sans aucun vis-à-vis. Tout est pensé pour le confort : literie de qualité, propreté irréprochable, nombreux équipements (dont un poêle à bois pour des soirées cosy). Les enfants ont été ravis de découvrir des jouets sur place. La communication avec l’hôte a été parfaite, réactive et attentionnée. We were looking for a quiet place to take a 5-day break with our dog and we found this nice little cottage by the lake. It is located right on the lake shore with a little pier and 2 kayaks. It is possible to swim in the lake but at this time of year the water is still too cold. This place have everything we need for cooking, with a dog we didn't go to any restaurants. There is a lot of trails and parks to take our dog and enjoy nature. The Split Rock Alpaca farm is also not to far, they don't have a website but here's the address: 19152 County Rd 25, Apple Hill, ON K0C 1B0. It is close to Cornwall, if we needed to shop. I recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet vacation and enjoy what nature has to offer. The check-in was easy and Maria is always available if you have any questions. There is some books and board games for rainy days (yes it happens sometimes). We will definitely go back in the near future.

Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

Loved Laura and Sebastian’s great hospitality! They made us feel so welcome and at home:) The Airbnb is beautiful and the scenery was amazing! And the location is great! I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future!

This is a secluded spot away from the world, and the hustle and bustle of Montreal. The setting on the lake is idyllic and the neighbourhood felt very quiet and safe. The loft was comfortable and we looked forward to returning to the peace and quiet after a day in the city. Mat and Cher are in the other part of the house and are lovely and welcoming. I would say you definitely need a car, there are no walkable shops or cafes, and the train station is an hour’s walk (and very limited service). There are also interesting places to explore and some gorgeous properties driving along the coast towards Hudson.
