Holiday houses in Roane County

Cute, cozy, clean apartment in a quiet little old town. The beds were super comfy & Tudor's Biscuit World down the street served up a yummy breakfast:) Good place for a quick overnight stop! Our hosts were great:)

The old farmhouse was a fun experience that felt like stepping back in time! Quaint, with some modern conveniences as well. The AC in the bedrooms was a big plus! Angela and John provided a delicious, filling breakfast. Having breakfast brought in AND not having to do the dishes was such a treat for us! We also enjoyed chatting with the other guests that joined us one morning.

Angela’s place is a little bit of heaven. My friend and I stayed in the Barn and the beds were clean and super comfortable. Loved the netting around the beds and the excellent lighting. We picked strawberries, walked the road looking at all the plants, and stargazed in the glade where lightning bugs sparkled like diamonds. The chickens and ducks were awesome too. Angela is warm and friendly. I’m not surprised she consistently gets 5 stars. I’ve left her some more :) Thanks Angela!

This was a great place for us! Better than a hotel and cheaper too! The attention to detail is spot on! There was a basket of assorted snacks on the table, a fully stocked k-cup coffee bar, laundry detergent at the washing machine, and even a tray of bathroom essentials in case you forgot something. The loft was comfortable and cozy and we felt right at home while we were there. You could tell that there had been some construction going on recently, but everything was tidy and organized, and well presented. We'll definitely be looking to book again on future visits!

I love staying at Angie and Doug’s farm house. The house is stocked well with items you are likely to have forgotten. It’s so homely. Just like my grandma’s house used to be. Highly recommend!

Valorie’s home is truly a hidden gem that is beautiful, nostalgic, peaceful, and anything positive you can imagine. We had gotten lost en route, and Valorie was quick to get us back on track and even greeted us upon arrival to make sure we were safe and sound! We appreciated the warm welcome into her home with the beautiful postcard and gift! The property was absolutely beautiful and peaceful and we were able to walk and see/hear many birds while taking in nature. Her home was immaculate, clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and we were in awe of all the amazing historic books/decor! We were sad to leave, and would absolutely return. I highly recommend staying here, and Valorie is seriously a top notch host that deserves to be recognized! Thank you so much for everything, Valorie! May you stay well, healthy, and blessed!!

We really enjoyed the night we spent, at the rustic roost. It was a wonderful spot to just kinda get away from the real word, for almost 24 hrs. The farm dog, Leo, was the highlight of our stay. He kept us company and took us to see the waterfall. The only hitch we encountered, we had no running water for our stay. Although it was pretty last minute, Rob did communicate this to us. He offered multiple ways to resolve the issue. In the end we agreed upon a discount and he provided us water for the bathroom and kitchenette. All in all in was a very enjoyable stay and would love to return again, in the future. Thank you!
