There are lots to do & see within a short drive; Lullymore Heritage Park, Irish Nationals Stud & Gardens, Castletown House, Burtown House, Mondello Park, Kildare Village, Newbridge Silverware & Museum of Style Icons, Russborough, Wicklow Mountains & Glendalough. Riverside Cottage

Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Daars North Cottage in the Countryside

Daars North Cottage is located in the peaceful countryside 3 miles from Straffan, Clane and Sallins Village. The cottage is compact and clean with two double rooms and a single room. The Cottage is very secure set behind our main house. As the cottage is based at our home we would be delighted to help out with local knowledge and places of interest. Easily accessible from Dublin (30 mins) by train and bus service (50 mins). We have 3 friendly dogs here so unfortunately NO Dogs allowed

Crab Lane Studios

A beautiful traditional stone built barn converted into a contemporary/industrial/rustic living space with quirky touches. Located in the idyllic foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, on the Wicklow Way, it features an open plan kitchen/living/dining space, a mezzanine bedroom and a spacious wet room. An extension offers an additional boot room/bathroom and paved courtyard area. The grounds are comprised of upper and lower lawns set on half an acre. A country pub is within walking distance.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

'The West Wing', The Curragh Stud. Winner Alright!

A luxuriously appointed and well fitted out wing of the The Curragh Stud, (see separate Airbnb listing). This well appointed annex known as the 'West Wing’ can be part of or separate from the main ‘Curragh Stud House’ with its own entrance and private space. For larger guest numbers of up to 8 please look up ‘The Curragh Stud’.

Secluded cabin on a vegan animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan sanctuary on a hill in its own wild nature garden developing food forest. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit out by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands.

The Writer's Cottage, secluded woodland setting

The Roundwood Cottages, The Writer's Cottage and The Forge, are located on the grounds of Roundwood House, a beautiful and historically significant 18th century Irish Country House. They are a perfect haven, whether you come to explore the Irish midlands or just to wind down a little. Each sleeps two people.
