You can enjoy various walks including the CAI 422c Dragodena-Vedettola trail passing in front of the house. Reachable only by private means, it is 45 km from Bologna, 48 km from Modena and 100 km from Florence. The access road to the farmhouse is paved.

The Cottage is part of a property owned by the Bernocchi family, which was already on maps of the area in the 1500s and is located right on an ancient Roman road that crossed the Calvana Mountains. About 9 km from Prato and 20 km from Florence. The Cottage, open on three sides, is situated in a panoramic position surrounded by a private park, ideal for walking and sports. A stone's throw from Monte Sole Park and nearby Rocchetta Mattei and the Corno alle Scale mountains The kitchen is complete with dishes and pots, microwave and coffee machine, with coffee, barley, chamomile and tea at your disposal, some brioches, gazed and natural water and milk.
