We provide linens and pillows and blankets. The fully equipped Gourmet kitchen provides you with everything you need to cook at home. The en-suite washer and dryer will save you a trip to the laundromat, so pack light! The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The apartment has enough room for one person, a couple, two couples or a family of 4. We live immediately in the upper level of this historic Mount pleasant row house, so we are just a phone call, text message, or doorbell ring away should you have any questions or need help with anything. This private apartment has two separate entrances (front and back). We respect our guests privacy but also enjoy interacting with them to provide any needed assistance, suggestions, or tips during their stay. The apartment is located in the charming and central Mount Pleasant district, a leafy neighborhood with a small-town feel, historic architecture, and vibrant culinary offerings. The apartment enjoys good access to public transportation: major bus stops are 1 to 2 blocks away and Columbia Heights metro station is less than a 10 minute walk (Cleveland Park Metro is a short bus ride away). Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis but residential parking permits are required during the week (not weekends) if you plan to park more than 2 hours at a time. We can provide you with a parking pass if you need one. * Pack-n-play and booster seat are available upon request. * Parking permit is available on request (there is a $200 fee if it is not returned).

Garden Suite

This light-filled, quiet and private Garden Suite is an extension of the house, with a separate entrance, overlooking garden and pool, and a wooded area. The Unit has two rooms which are partially separated by a beautiful stone wall. The rooms offer every comfort needed for a stay, whether it is a weekend or longer. The Garden Suite does not have a kitchen. Cleveland Park is a historic neighborhood, boasting great restaurants, shops and lovely walks nearby, such as Rock Creek Park and the zoo.
