I came with my mom and we loved the scenery! Sally and Constatin were very welcoming and we enjoyed talking with them.

We enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. Very peaceful and beautiful. Just what we needed. The price was reasonable and it had everything we needed. Sally responded to my messages before and during our stay quickly. I highly recommend the Treehouse if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

I had a wonderful stay. Ruthann’s place was beautiful both inside and out. The room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, great water pressure in the shower. I especially loved the raised nook beside the bed; it was a lovely place to begin the day, reading by the morning light and listening to the birds. The private patio is peaceful, a well-shaded garden with comfortable furnishings; you can spend all day out there. Ruthann is just lovely. Her instructions for parking and accessing the space were clear, and she was very responsive and checked in with me each day. It was great to chat. I felt very welcome. I appreciated all the little touches, from snacks and water to the collection of DVDs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and hope to stay again!

We had an amazing stay at the Miller House! The way Dawn cared for and improved the house and the property is inspiring! The house is well equipped. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the living room setup is perfect. We loved sitting out on both the front porch and the patio in the morning and at night. It was chilly outside at night, so the fire pit was a nice touch, with plenty of stargazing opportunities. The gas fireplace in the living room is also very easy to operate and gives even a cozier feeling. The way the house was renovated and decorated kept the farm house feel, and gave us a real taste of country living. We loved waking up to the sunrises, and walking around the property. Every corner of the property and the house is picture perfect (we took so many pics!) Overall it was a great vacation/family reunion for us and we really enjoyed the farm house/country life feel this house provided. We would love to come back in the future!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Eileen's. Her home was beautiful. The amenities she provided was above and beyond other places I have stayed. We loved the fresh eggs we were able to purchase. The home was warm and cozy on the cold nights. We used both the fire pit and the hot tub. They were both great. If we are in the area again we would definitely book again.

Vern and Mary Jane’s home is one of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed at! Very clear instructions on how to find the place — we had a lot of fun hiking in the nearby area and using the host’s kayaks! Vern and Mary Jane were extremely responsive and friendly when we had questions, 10/10 recommend choosing this location for your next family vacation!

This place was beautiful, quiet, clean and had so many extra amenities. The heated pool was great, even on the rainy days! We enjoyed the HBO Max on multiple TVs in the house and even on the porch! The creek was great too for the kids to explore. We were glad we had saved the check in key code ahead of time, as we had no reception until on the cabin’s wifi. Brandon was VERY responsive when we had questions. We definitely hope we are able to stay at the cabin again! Just wish we didn’t have to leave!!

Such a beautiful small haven!! I felt so much peace and so safe! I was so relaxed i wish i stayed longer! Def will be coming back hopefully by fall!

Shannon and Julianne were great hosts! This home had everything to offer. You really don’t need to bring anything with you! There were a lot of amenities. We loved sitting outside at the fire pit and relaxing. The house was very clean and comfortable. There is a lot to explore in Harrisonburg. We would definitely recommend staying at this house!

This AirBNB is perfect for a peaceful stop on a long road trip! We got a wonderful, tasty dinner and then sat outside to watch a beautiful sunset with the sheep and dogs. Lots of games and activities for when it got dark (love a good Jenga match!) . Great for stargazing as well! The bed was so comfortable and everything felt very clean. Great shower too! Thank you for making our first stay in Shenandoah a great one!

Lovely property and home. We came to rest and recharge, this was the perfect place to do that. Home is cozy and comfortable. The owners are welcoming and they have done a great job with making the property easy to navigate and enjoy.

We had an amazing stay! The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning. The space was clean, comfortable, and just as described. We really enjoyed the short hike down to the river, such a beautiful spot. There was a grill and campfire set up right by the water, which we didn’t use, but it was a nice touch. Scott was always available to answer any questions, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway close to nature.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was cozy and had stunning views—just as described. The host was kind and responsive, which made everything easy and enjoyable. One tip for future guests: check the fireplaces and other amenities early on. We initially couldn’t get the indoor fireplace to work and thought it was user error. The next day, we discovered the outdoor one wasn’t working either due to empty gas tanks. Once we let the host know, they quickly arranged for a refill. Aside from that small hiccup, everything else was perfect. The home was a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely love to stay again!

We traveled from Wisconsin for a wedding. The venue was 5 minutes from here which was so nice. The house was big with space for all 6 of us, the outdoors had a beautiful space and we enjoyed fishing at the pond. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were really nice and updated. The location was close enough to other cities if we needed additional amenities. We had a wonderful time and if we find ourselves back in Virginia we will stay here again!

This was our second time staying here and we fell in love with the place even more this time! Since it’s up on a mountain, it’s so peaceful and really allows you to relax and restore. The space is exactly as pictured and feels well cared for. If you’re looking for a cozy place to stay and explore the Shenandoah area, this is the best spot for quality and price.

Absolutely gorgeous farm property. Perfect for a tech free getaway. This was our favorite bnb of our entire roadtrip. Fantastic views of the stars. Loved waking up to ducks quacking outside our window and roosters letting you know they are there. The log cabin is very small and quaint but cozy. Ray and rosemary were extremely friendly. Would recommend this spot to everyone. Very little service in the area but we didnt even notice looking at everything going on at the beautiful property. Will be returning just for this canin!

I stayed for one night with my partner and our 4yo daughter. When we pulled up in the car, we were immediately greeted by a friendly farm dog. Our daughter was very excited to see all of the farm animals there. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to use the hot tub, but LaVaun was very accommodating when I asked if it would be ok to use it after the 11pm quiet time. It was very rustic, so there were some run-ins with bugs, but nothing crazy. We were very quick with moving in and out of the door to prevent flying bugs from coming in, but a wasp was already inside waiting for us when we first got there. There’s also a very tall ceiling with an incomplete dropped ceiling that seemed to be inviting to bugs, like a couple of spiders. The bed was very comfortable (no signs of bed bugs) and there were plenty of extra linens for our daughter to sleep on the futon. Overall, it was a nice stay and LaVaun was a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. We really enjoyed the comfortable beds and pillows, well-stocked bathroom and kitchen (we appreciated the cinnamon rolls!), ample towels and even small fans in both bedrooms was a nice touch for warm summer nights! We were lucky enough to see the entire field full of blinking lightning bugs one evening, quite a marvelous sight! We would definitely visit this peaceful location again.
