Holiday rentals with a sauna in Rockingham County

I didn’t actually check into this condo. I’m leaving a review because Airbnb and Massanutten worked together well to assist me with my cancelation. Situations like that can get sticky, but they did a great job and I felt like Massanutten deserved the 5 star review.

Very beautiful place. The employees are very nice and helpful. I hope they get paid well

We enjoyed our stay in the White Locus Suite! Right outside of our bedroom, we had a kitchen to cook in. The jacuzzi bath and actual hot tub outside were very relaxing. We enjoyed it being so relaxing, we decided to book another week! :)

Overall, it was a pleasant stay and an excellent spot for a weekend retreat.

The place was absolutely gorgeous and the apartment was very nice. We had an issue at check-in because the instructions stated to go to the South Lobby for a Saturday check-in, but it was closed and we had to go to the North Lobby. Please update the instructions.

beautiful location on the side of the mountain. really great views of the valley. we met the few other folks who were locals and other airbnb people and all were very friendly. it's a great spot with a small grocery store, an ice cream shop and a delightful restaurant at the bottom of the mountain which made it all a great spot to spend a few days.

we had a great time. they allowed us a 1 hr late checkout at no extra cost which was REALLY helpfull. strongly recommend getting the chalet with a jacuzzi and sauna. the only area for improvement would be the wear and tear of the furniture. its getting a bit worn but all it needs it a good wood polish all around. would def book again and recommend to a friend!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Woodstone at Massanutten and appreciate Greg offering his timeshare credits at this resort as an Airbnb. Note: this is not Greg's personal home/condo and the actual condo number is assigned by the resort when you check in at the resort lobby (with a very long line but friendly staff). The condo was exactly as Greg described (although you could tell the unit hadn't been used in some time) but it was comfy and cozy - just what we wanted - and we were fortunate to have a gorgeous view. Greg was very responsive from before we booked when I had questions about the property; he responded immediately when we had an 'emergency' on site and he resolved it quickly with Woodstone; and he even sent a local event suggestion the day before we checked out. I would definitely book with Greg again as I know he would make sure that whether it's his actual home or a timeshare he has credits for, he will ensure we are taken care of so we enjoy our stay. Very clean, comfortable and spacious home as accurately described in the listing. Very helpful digital app/manual with videos sent ahead of trip. Traveled with extended family of 12 for a long weekend to Massanutten and the location is great. The kids enjoyed the game room and we all enjoyed the long dining table and fire table on the back deck in the evenings. As noted by another reviewer, there is no door to the larger bunk bed room so consider that when planning sleep arrangements. We were able to fit 4 cars on the driveway in front and the stairs down to the house weren’t too steep for Grandma! The house is lovely and you’re sure to enjoy your stay.

Ashley was such a wonderful host. She was very responsive and went above and beyond in helping us prepare for the trip prior to our check in. It was a pleasure to get to enjoy her house. It gave our family the perfect vacation “home base” we felt a retro-modern vibe throughout the interior and the outdoor spaces were perfect for spotting deer, and relaxing at dusk after staying busy during the day, with all of the resort amenities!

Extremely well thought hosting. Right from a personalised welcome note to the abundant snack and breakfast options to the snack gifts, loved every bit of it! Very clean and well organised home with all necessary items provided with clear labels. Great balcony and backyard views. Would highly recommend to someone who is looking for a refreshing stay. Some thoughts from our visit Magical A very special home Spectacular and I’m not just referring to the heavenly views

Andrew was a PERFECT host. He wanted our stay special and it sure was. We made some great memories and we will ABSOLUTELY be back. Our grandchildren had a blast and didn’t want to leave. The beds were amazing, ample room for all, well stocked kitchen and more. Hot tub and sauna were both a hit with the girls! We get together once a year and they all want to come back but would love to do this twice a year. We will see if we can’t make it happen! Andrew, many thanks for everything. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Could get fast delivery on restaurants and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking! It was such a nicely kept Airbnb. Would definitely return!

Absolutely incredible—just wow! We planned this family vacation to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s clear that Jordan and Paige have poured so much love and care into making Ridge Retreat a truly special getaway. We enjoyed all the amenities, but our favorites were definitely the movie room, game room, hot tub, and the screened-in porch. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation and beautiful memories.
