The quiet morning with coffee and the calming atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down and soak up the beauty of the Maine. I’d absolutely stay again!

The house on the tidal river was perfect! My wife loved the extra suite as a get away for reading and watching the wildlife on the river. Easy to get to town by taking the walkway bridge too! Kathy was a great host!

Despite rain everyday, we enjoyed our stay very much. We are 3 women in our 60's and appreciated having our own rooms. We were out alot, but always felt comfortable when we returned. The home is so close to Rockland and the wonderful restaurants. We are sure if the weather was better, we would have enjoyed the water view so much more. Was skeptical about cleanliness due to the fact that animals are allowed. But to our surprise, the home was extremely clean. Would never know animals had been inside. And for those traveling with animals, there is a very nice fenced area for your pet. We traveled to Maine for a Celebration of Life for a family member. The home is located right next to a cemetery, but found that ironically comforting as our Family name was featured on one of the primary headstones. And, on the day of the Celebration, we were visited by a red cardinal sitting on the rail of the deck. It didn't linger long, long enough for each of us to see it. Would stay here again!!

George's home is my favorite property to stay at when I travel to Midcoast Maine. It is so beautiful, clean, roomy and centrally located to all points of interest. The property itself beautifully landscaped as well. There is a private outdoor sitting area to listen to the birds and soak in the sun. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay, the house is very private and comfy. The master bathroom and kitchen were both really nice. Beds are very comfy as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

We spent two nights in Maine and this was the perfect staging ground for all that we wanted to do. Alicia is very easy to work with, and we had a hassle free stay.

Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

I wanted a peaceful place by the water to unwind and Maggie’s home nailed it. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The deck views were amazing—islands, ospreys hunting, and a duck and her ducklings feeding along the shoreline. At low tide we poked around in the sand at the bottom of the rocks, and could have easily walked out to the center of the bay but it was juuuust a bit chilly for us. Easy to drive, park and walk along beach on the Atlantic side and explore. We didn’t have time to kayak but hope to be back to give it a go. So much beauty and nature, but with all the amenities that make it easy to relax. Maggie was responsive, and she and her family obviously care very much for the property. Check the propane BEFORE you plan to grill :), and bring flip flops to easily get from the house to the grotto (which was so comfy and cozy) and back again.

The place is very nice and private. Quiet neighborhood, yet close to the downtown area in Camden. Walking distance to the trail to Mt Battie. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Jason was very friendly and had clear instructions on how to use everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

So peaceful but off season. So not sure how it would be with lots of traffic and people. But the private deck and entrance was wonderful. The water view couldn’t have been more up close and personal with the beautiful harbor. The place was clean and cozy. Perfect lighting. Didn’t watch tv once. A convenient common room for extra supplies or a cup of coffee. Staff was very friendly when we were checking out. No front desk attendant and none needed. They answer messages quickly!

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

We had a great stay here. The apartment was perfectly clean and well appointed. Bob and Laura covered everything; thoughtful snacks, a comprehensive guest book, fully stocked kitchen and they even made umbrellas available. We were super comfortable and it was a great spot to base our Bristol adventures from!

The Deckhouse was a wonderful and comfortable stay. Margaret immediately made us feel welcome as we checked in. She gave us a quick run down of the house and some fantastic recommendations. Easily walkable into the business district across the footbridge. A super short drive from the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and other great spots to explore. The deckhouse also makes for a great spot to sit and relax watching the waterfront at work. We would certainly come back.

Grace’s studio is a delight. Was so comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. Grace stocked the kitchen with organic coffee, a fresh container of half and half, which was so generous of her. I have never encountered that in my travels. There is everything, shampoo, soap and even a little sewing kit! There are lovely artistic touches around the unit. The view of the river was sublime and the location is quiet. Close to everything, walkable, great bookstore, good restaurants, Bred in the Bone, superb. Fun shops. The unit is small. Perfect for 1, but 2 is possible. Thank you, Grace for a perfect stay.

We booked last minute and had such a relaxing one night stay here. Gorgeous little cottage with an insanely comfortable bed under the velux windows so you can look up at the trees! We loved it and it was perfect to break up our trip up the coast to Acadia. Really clean and comfortable and we loved watching TV with pizza and then playing a couple games! The bath was also very nice for a quick morning soak. Would really recommend it!

Wonderful little spot very close to the beach. Plenty of places to walk to from the location as well as a short drive to Old Orchard Beach. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at Tysons place. Its a perfect location, only like 5-10 minutes drive from Old Port. The home is clean and beautiful. Street parking was super easy. Always space right on the side of the home. Each room has its own A/C. Would definitely recommend staying at Tysons place!

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

Patrick's place was exactly as described. We'll appointed. It was in a private and serene location. Views of the ocean from the deck and windows facing the ocean were spectacular! Patrick was extremely responsive from booking through departure. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone not wanting the hustle and bustle of the Bar Harbor area. Utterly enjoyed our stay💖✨️

Derek is a very reasonable person. He accommodated us on a late night notice. The access to the building was very easy, and the place was clean just like shown on the picture.

You cannot beat the location with this rental. We love coming to Willard Beach with our pup, and when our old go-to BNB stopped renting we were so worried we wouldn’t find another. But this condo worked out so perfectly in terms of location (across the road from both Scratch Bakery and Willard Scoops, comfortable walk to the beach with several entrance options) and the actual comfort of the condo itself. The proximity to the beach was really a plus for us, as we didn’t have to get up as early to make the dog friendly beach hours! Host is responsive, and any household items (eg. soap, coffee filters) that were missing from the condo we could easily run down to get from Hannaford. The downsides: It is on a second floor walk up, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Hand railing is odd too. Bit pricey, couldn’t swing a full week this time around as the price shot up dramatically when I added Friday to the duration. But overall, really lovely!
