Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

Covered Bridge Cabin (on Big Walnut Creek)

Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With sweet-smelling poplar walls, the cabin offers a full bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, AC, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Enjoy the best of both worlds: total seclusion with on-site hiking trails, yet just 15 minutes from Nashville’s artisan charm and Brown County State Park (pass included). Explore the local galleries, then retreat to the silence of the ridge. Note: As an active ridge top, occasional host sightings or nearby construction may occur.

Ground-floor unit (2-story unit with upstairs available for additional charge, otherwise not rented). Queen bed + sleeper sofa. 55" TV w/Showtime. Massage chair. Internet available but spotty due to rural location. Large private hot tub and firepit surrounded by woods and corn! Firewood provided at no charge. Plus a new sauna when outside temps are above 40°F.

Lyndsay's Cottage

This unique place has a style all its own. This house is fully furnished with nicely refinished hardwood floors. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds and plenty of storage and room darkening blinds. There is a Washer & Dryer downstairs and a game room for the kids. Couch in living room is able to pull out into bed and there is a futon in the game room downstairs. Backyard is fully fenced. Close to Union Hospital, ISU and many local restaurants and shops.

Hideaway Hollow

This is a fully furnished picturesque Amish-built cabin in beautiful and secluded Parke County, Indiana. The cabin comes complete with all amenities including full bath with shower, queen bed, A/C, dish TV, wifi internet and full kitchen. There is a large deck attached with a beautiful view of the swinging bridge and the woods. Cook out on the deck's gas grill and enjoy cool evenings by the fire pit (wood provided). Enjoy a nap in the shade in the hammock.
