This mountain house was the perfect getaway. Surrounded by stunning views, it offered total peace and quiet. The open-air hot tub was a dream—soaking under the stars in the fresh mountain air was unforgettable. The mini sauna was a great bonus after a long hike. Inside, the house was a wonderful mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. We received the best treatment from the hosts and we realized it's part of Club Vila Bran and we had more amenities for free - like pools, the Valea cu Povesti park (good for kids but also for adults), a restaurant with concerts. All 4 of us left feeling relaxed and recharged—can’t wait to come back! We've already re-booked this house for another time, to come back still this summer.

They were really friendly and welcoming with us and the place was much nicer than we expected. They were flexible with the check in time and allowed us to go there sooner. To our surprise they had many adorable puppies which just made the whole stay so much more fun and exciting.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this location with family and friends! The guesthouse is wonderful, it looks better than in the pictures and the children could sled in the yard. Hope to be back soon.

First of all it is a very interesting location. The fresh air provides along with the view around the house a perfect tranquility. Conveniences like the grill and the space outside set up to sit outdoors make rest even more enjoyable. Thank you to the masters for your responsiveness and good mood.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again. The house has everything that you can think of: dishwasher (very useful), washing machine, a juicer, coffee maker, an oven, fireplace, massage chair, big fridge and freezer, lounge chairs for relaxing on the terrace or garden, hammocks, badminton, fresbee, games, jacuzzi, a very nice terrace, a swing, a grill, lots and lots of green space etc. You can buy eggs or handmade products made with care like tomatoe paste, pesto, jam, syrups and much more. If you are lucky you can spot deers, rabbits and badgers on the property. Very peaceful place, very clean, private, a great place to recharge and reconnect with nature in all the comfort you need.

A very nice house in the countryside. The hot tub is usable even in very cold weather (make sure to chop lots of wood in advance). The host is super friendly and does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

I had the most wonderful stay at Bogdana’s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Bogdana puts an incredible amount of heart and effort into making this place special. She was a fantastic host—so helpful, welcoming, and a pleasure to talk with. The house itself was spacious, with two large bedrooms and super comfortable beds, making it the perfect retreat. The backyard was an absolute gem—large, luscious, and perfect for relaxing or playing with my dog, who was welcomed with open arms. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making meal prep easy and enjoyable. The location is unbeatable! Just 3 minutes from a supermarket, and the town is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and wild forests. It’s also less than an hour from amazing hiking destinations, making it ideal for nature lovers. The care Bogdana has put into this space is evident in every detail, and I truly appreciated it. I can’t recommend this stay enough—I’m already looking to returning soon!

We had a great time in the cottage. 5 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. The area is very beautiful and there are gorgeous and easy trails in Moeciu de Sus. Granny is very nice and gives a plus to the location. We'll be back!

Very nice and quiet place. We stayed for a weekend with our puppy. Both we and she were excited about the spacious garden (shared with the other guests). It helped that the property is fenced and we weren't worried that it could escape. 🙂 We had everything we needed, we felt comfortable, and the hosts were helpful when we asked questions. We will definitely come back. 😊

Really cool, traditional village house with lovely old style wood stoves in each room plus all the traditional stuff you could hope for. we went in the winter so nothing was open in the village, but it was a pleasure staying in the house.

Luminita's accommodation is a wonderful retreat in a scenic and historically beautiful and interesting area. The whole courtyard is exceptionally tastefully restored, actually you experience new little loving details every day. Everything is well-maintained and clean, and everything is available for a few relaxing days away from everyday life. Even the welcome with local specialties sets the mood for beautiful days... Communication with the host is easy and fast, everything was actually even better than expected from the listing! Of course, you need a car, but in the village you will also find places to eat and shops for the most important things. There are numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites within reach.

If you want to go to Sibiu, do not stay in the town, book in Porumbacu de Sus at Tibi’s place: quiet, idyllic in the garden, geill your own food, eat outside, pick some apples …. . They have breakfast and they prepare dinner if reserved in advance. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

We felt very comfortable in the place. Werner was available to us at all times. The manager Sorin and his wife Adriana are very friendly people. Despite the language barrier, we got along well. Adriana cooked us a great meal once and the food from the village was very delicious. Even in winter, the area was very accessible by car. There's a lot to see. Especially at Christmas, the Christmas markets and the great lighting were everywhere. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The neighbors were all very friendly and we had a great start to the new year in the village square. In the Paltines ski resort (Hohe Rinne) you can ski well and rent everything. We had a great time and would come back any time. Thank you

We had a very pleasant experience at this accommodation. The communication with the owner was excellent and the accommodation itself is very modern and well equipped. Nearby is a convenience store within just 2-3 minutes walking distance, which is very convenient. Also, there are enough parking spaces for 2 or 3 cars. The area is quiet, ideal for relaxing. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice experience in this cottage in the middle of the nature. Anja is reactive and kind host.

We had a lovely stay at Cristina's place. The house and garden were lovely and the rooms were much bigger than the photos looked. It had everything we needed and we all agreed we could quite happily live in that house. The place was well equipped and we loved the record player and collection of LP's some of which I would guess to be 60+ years old.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The space was impeccably clean—spotless, in fact—and the attention to detail made it feel incredibly cozy and peaceful. The highlight of our stay was the chimney, which added such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It kept us perfectly warm, especially on the open second floor, where the heat naturally rose, making it a snug retreat. We enjoyed a quiet and serene evening, sipping on the wine thoughtfully provided by our host, sitting next to the fire, and listening to music for hours. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you, for creating such a magical experience. We can’t wait to come back!

An incredible place to disconnect and enjoy nature. The house is beautiful, with every detail care, we were in the middle of winter, they were -10 degrees outside and inside we were super warm! This is a great place to go as a family! I recommend it 100%! Thank you Irina for everything!

We had an amazing stay in Messendorf. The house was so charming and peaceful. Mihai brought us on a e-bike tour of the beautiful surrounding countryside which was a brilliant experience that I couldn't recommend more.

Our stay at Stefania’s house was amazing. We were a large group of nine, but there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and have their own privacy. The house is very well-equipped—especially the kitchen, which has everything you could possibly need. Since the house is accessible only by the owners driving you up, we brought all the food we needed for our trip and recommend others do the same. The tap water is drinkable (and incredibly refreshing!), so there’s no need to carry water up to the house. We absolutely loved the hot tub in the garden, which offers a stunning view of the mountains! Stefania and her husband were incredibly generous hosts, and we can’t thank them enough. We had the chance to try their pancakes, homemade bread, rakija, and meat—all delicious! Stefania was very responsive and easy to communicate with, and her English is excellent. We have a feeling that this house has a unique charm in every season. We will definitely be coming back!

Eniko was the perfect host - she was very kind and accommodating to our needs and she gave us a wonderful bottle of local Românian wine plus lots of recommendations in Cluj Napoca. The beautiful house she has so faithfully and beautifully restored and with real artistic flair and expression was a delight to stay in. This was our first time visiting Romania coming from Cornwall in the UK and we loved our trip. Thankyou Eniko!
