Family-friendly holiday rentals in Romulus

We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful home and neighborhood. Our hosts made us feel right at home. It was an inviting and charming house. The deck and backyard were perfect for a small, family graduation gathering.

Warren, Nathan, and John (who we didnt have a chance to meet until the morning we were leaving) were amazing hosts, guides, baristas...and beautiful humans. They were so nice to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The house, the hot tub, the beautiful surroundings, a coffee shop in the backyard...everything was exactly as described and so much more. We have already been checking our calendars to find a weekend to go back!. Definite ten out of ten...and I'm positive our dogs would agree too :)

Lori was incredibly accommodating for every part of our stay. Lori's place was like getting VIP service. She had tons of local recommendations, everything was labeled and she had everything you may possibly need for your stay. Lori even delivered us some local donuts during one day of our stay! The sleep number bed was nice, but if you're use to a thicker mattress (like I am) keep in mind that the mattress is a little on the thinner side. Still comfortable though. We will definitely be booking here again on our next trip through.

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

This place was perfect for our 4 day trip! Near downtown and the Q Line for easy access to Tigers/Lions stadiums and tons of other walkable locations. Very clean and nice neighborhood. And parking was never even remotely a problem. Definitely recommend! Go Tigers!

This is the second of Jennifer’s listings we’ve stayed at and it was just as cozy and clean as the first! Jennifer is a very responsive and friendly host, and the house was clean, nicely decorated, and easy to settle into. Would happily stay again.

I’m so glad we chose this location! The indoor pool was a major highlight, it’s what sold us. The kids had a blast swimming without us having to worry about the weather. The area itself was peaceful and relaxing, and we were lucky enough to have clear skies to enjoy some stargazing. The home was stocked with fun extras like board games and pool toys, and we even got to enjoy a cozy little bonfire. The house itself was lovely, and I especially loved the kitchen, it had everything we needed. This stay definitely ranks as one of our favorites!

This was the perfect location for our trip. We stayed one night and enjoyed walking around the town. Wonderful breakfast and antiques all in walking distance. There are some steep stairs but it is mentioned in the description.

Man the house is great! View is awesome! Exactly as advertised, plenty comfortable for a work crew, all the bathrooms, it was great, wish I had more work this way! Haha Host was also super accommodating, definitely recommend!

Ann Margaret was a wonderful host, checking in regularly to make sure everything was working for me. She and Judy left many special touches around the space (delicious breakfast treats, glass bottles of filtered water, a heavy duty ice scraper for my car) to make it feel like a very personal experience despite the ample privacy. I loved the space which was homey in an elevated way. It was a great retreat for a busy visit to Ann Arbor.

Anthony is the consummate host, and his place is very accessible and homey. We especially love his English garden. We will definitely book again whenever we are back in Tecumseh where my husband and I both grew up.

My mother stayed for her 70th birthday and had an amazing time. Jennifer was very communicative and the property has even better than expected. Would stay again.

Scott’s place was great! Stayed for the night with some friends for a concert and it was everything as described perfectly. Very quiet and nice and clean. Would highly recommend!

My family and I came to Detroit from Milwaukee for only one night. We wanted to be close to Slows BBQ (our favorite restaurant in Detroit) and close to the highway so we could get to Fraser Michigan quickly for a BDay party. The location was perfect and was very convenient for us. 5 of us slept comfortably inside.

Always a great stay at one of Christine's places. Solid location, great communication, cozy spaces, fast wifi, driveway parking, and a hot shower. A great and super functional spot to call your home-base when you're in Ann Arbor. Highly recommended.
