This house was exactly as described. It was built as a guest house so it is set up really well for travelers. The house is very spacious with a beautiful view. It has very beautiful custom woodwork, made by the family. The beds are very comfortable and each bedroom has plenty of open storage for your luggage and clothes. The bathrooms are large with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is very well equipped. Out of the three islands we visited, this was our favorite. Germano checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed anything and advised us when arranging our taxi drop off for a hike. There were some small ants coming in the last day but they took care of it right away. The humid environment of the Azores is a perfect environment for insects. It is not uncommon to see them. This house was so beautiful and clean, I highly recommend staying here. The hosts are wonderful. Thank you!

Great location with easy parking. The place was spacious and had the amenities listed. We really appreciated the extra towels provided, the flexibility and easy check-in and check-out process. It was also convenient and easy to walk to nearby cafes. A surprise and highlight was the super friendly horse next door.
