Monthly Rentals in Rose Hill

We were in Alexandria for an entire month to help our daughter with her newborn. My wife and I travel a lot, with stays in fancy hotels, conference centers, camp sites and Airbnbs. This is a new favorite. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Two bedrooms afforded plenty of space, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. A well equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, full sized fridge, dishwasher and a full set of pots and pans, utensils, spices. Bathroom was stocked with our personal favorite shampoos. Washer and dryer in the unit. Living room with large screen television. High speed internet that worked well. The location was on a residential street, convenient to I95, the Huntington Metro Station, and Duke Street and Route 1 stores. Off street parking at the unit, with plenty of on street parking if needed. Diana and Koo were great hosts. They were attentive to details and very responsive to questions and requests. Highly recommended!

So, I actually purchased this as a gift for a love niece of mine and her husband. I live in Tennessee, so I will say that the communication with Janine made me feel comfortable to put my total faith that things would go smoothly. Apparently, they did: Per my niece: "My husband and I stayed at the Happy Tree House for our babymoon. The space was very clean and tidy. The backyard was my favorite part! As well as the comfortable bed. Janine took great care of us and was very proactive. Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the Alexandria area."

Becca was a wonderful host and checked in to make sure all was going well and was very responsive with answering questions. The home was 5 bedrooms and three and a 1/2 baths with one of the bedrooms with a sofa bed. There was a family room on the upper level and one on the lower level with a lovely four seasons room. The deck was fantastic for family dinners outside with beautiful trees surrounding it. The home was not brand new, but was clean and well stocked with needed items (laundry and dish pods, coffee, linens, etc). I had never planned a visit to DC, but this was relatively close to the Metro (we used Franconia Springfield stop) and was comfortable for our group of 11. Highly recommend this host and home!
