Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

Isabella - Country Refuge in Marvão

Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. The modern studio accommodates a couple and a child with the comfort of country life. Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home.
