The Cottage

PeterRating, 5 stars4 days ago
John was a fantastic Host. The cottage was a fantastic base for us to explore from. John was very helpful with tips and information regarding the local area and surrounding county. John was also very helpful providing a little medicinal relief whilst I was under the weather. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Entire house @Seán’s shed!

LindaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Sean’s Shed, it had everything we needed for a relaxing trip away and much more. Laura was fantastic to deal with & extremely helpful. It is in an ideal location if you want to get away from city-life & only a few minutes away from Mullingar. It is a perfect place for a group of friends or a family wanting that little bit of extra space. I would highly recommend staying here.

Gable view. Clare Crosserlough.

7 of us stayed here after a wedding at Crover House nearby. We were met by Paddy who was really welcoming and helpful. He showed us around the house and gave us tips and advice for our stay. The house is lovely and retains some original features. Bedrooms upstairs and downstairs make this really accessible. The house was very clean and the hosts had provided milk, tea, bread etc. It was a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend this property and stay again.

Secluded cabin on a vegan animal sanctuary

StevenRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Helen’s sanctuary is very private and beautiful! The hand built cabin has a charm unlike anything I’ve stayed in before. It’s cozy and warm and feels one with nature. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even helped us carry our bags to the cabin. The bathroom is as described being a bit short but I showered just fine as a 6ft tall person. The animals are pleasant, the farm is clean, and the landscape very peaceful.

Irishtown House The Cottage

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was as nice as advertised. Nora went above and beyond with making guest feel welcome and providing info about the surrounding area. The fridge had makings for an Irish breakfast complete with fresh eggs from their chickens. The only bad thing I’ll say is it has probably ruined all other future vacation rentals for us! 10/10 would rent again
