Stay in a picturesque Victorian farm house sitting on three rolling acres in the middle of nowhere, but only a 3 minute drive from the nearest Walmart and other amenities. Mature hardwood trees in the yard and a house built in 1892 with much of its original woodwork intact. Enjoy a night sky mostly unpolluted by urban lights and a comfortable stay in 3 air conditioned bedrooms. There is always a camp fire built and a place for social gathering in the back yard. Come enjoy a piece of history.

The Depot B & B: A Peaceful Retreat

Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

Quiet little cottage is situated in the back of our large peaceful property. We are located outside of city limits with our cottage being bordered on one side by dense woods and several large oak trees shading the entire area. This cottage has it's own private driveway with easy one level access. It's common to have deer grazing in the yard during the early morning and evening hours. A great place to relax.

Morchella Hideaway

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil hideaway. Relax inside and view nature through the wall of glass, or venture out to the deck, relax on the rockers or patio table with a beverage and enjoy the river view. Raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, owls in summer, tree frogs, and crickets at night. Home sets in the woods. Fall enjoy the outdoor firepit or the stars at night.
