Monthly Rentals in Rosthwaite Fell

We absolutely loved our stay at Foxwood Cottage. The location is truly breathtaking, with stunning views from every window and corner of the garden. Waking up to the sound of the river and birdsong was such a treat. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a BnB with such beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself is cosy, welcoming, and well-equipped with everything you could need. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we all slept so well. There are also two fantastic pubs nearby — The Yew Tree and The Langstrath Country Inn — both serving delicious food and have a friendly atmosphere. A brilliant stay from start to finish. Booked to stay in this lovely cottage for 4 nights for a birthday trip with family and my dog, the views from the house were breathtaking surrounded by mountains, wildlife and farm animals and the cottage itself was so spacious yet perfectly cosy at the same time. There were lovely walking trails all around with some great recommendations from our host of places to sightsee and eat and drink (we highly recommend the toasties from the Flock In tea room!). All in all a great time was had and we would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage on Wastwater. The setting is stunning — right on the lake and surrounded by beautiful walking routes, perfect for exploring with our 18-month-old and dog. The cottage is tucked away on a peaceful farm with a great outdoor seating area to enjoy the views. It’s quite remote, with the nearest proper shop about 30 minutes away, but the nearby campsite shop (just half a mile down the road) had the essentials we needed. Other than that, everything was perfect. A truly relaxing break in a beautiful location — we’d definitely recommend it!

Set in lovely grasmere. Flat 5 at the top of the house. Really spacious. Everything that you would need. Clear and useful instructions throughout. Made it super easy. Lovely and quiet Perfect host. Always on hand and happy to help. Couldn’t ask for anything else Many thanks
