Our self-contained cottage is set within our rural, mature garden and surrounded by farmland just off State Highway 1. We are 15 minutes from the centre of Taupo with all the tourist attractions, golf courses and our beautiful lake a 10-15 minute drive away. It is a 50 minute drive to Rotorua and 90 minutes to the ski fields. Relax in our cosy cottage after exploring the beautiful Lake Taupo district or visiting for work or play. We do not accommodate infants, children or animals. We are a hop, skip and a jump from the stunning Taupo lake front and easy 25 minute stroll in to town, 3 minutes by car. Happy to host short or longer stays. Super convenient location for our Taupo events!

From the deck area/French doors all you will see is farmland! We are directly off SH1, down a long drive way, making this a great location for those wanting a place to stay during a road trip, but also quiet and peaceful if you want a few days away!

Located 15mins from Taupo town centre, only a couple of kms off the main State highway 1, is our quiet rural sleep out. This sleep out is attached to a large shed (that we use and is not included in the Airbnb rental) and is at the bottom of our long driveway, so nice and private.

Mike and Carlé were such lovely hosts. They were so hospitable to us having our baby there with having a high chair and baby bath available. There were so many helpful and lovely touches like bathroom amenities, milk in the fridge, cereals available, coffee and treats etc. Highly recommend.

The view was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more special. We all had a great time and truly enjoyed every moment. What a wonderful view. A special place that was peaceful and relaxing. Just to note that we experienced some wind and rain during our stay. The tent was water tight and felt cosy, however it was a noisy night with the canvas flapping and moving in the wind.
