Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rotonda West

A perfect retreat located in the Burnt Store Marina development. We enjoyed a week at this condo which was centrally located between Cape Coral and Punta Gorda. The condo was extremely clean and very well organized. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the little extras, such as an insulated beach bag, and beach towels. Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, and even a small supply of spices as we often eat in while on vacation and it was very nice not to have to buy. As boating people, this is a great neighborhood. Definitely research boat rentals, tours, fishing charters if you’re thinking of fun things to do. The highlight was traveling to Boca Grande beaches (3 times!) which was just stunning. We really enjoyed the pool in the afternoons and going over to the Cass Cay restaurant in the evenings. Bill was very responsive with any questions we had!

My family just spent a week at Turtle Landing and we liked it so much we booked for 2026 before we left. Although we arrived late at night, we were able to find the property easily as it was well marked and lit. The property is spacious and comfortable with a wrap around terrace which is tremendous and adds an additional room for gathering. The pool gets sun nearly all day, so we enjoyed finishing up our trips to the beach with some time around the pool. My niece and I made use of the kayaks, and there is plenty of areas to explore. This was a key attraction for us and a real differentiator when comparing properties. Turtle Landing has it all….beach nearby, kayaks for the bay, and a pool and hot tub! Scott was a lovely host and extremely responsive to inquiries. We did rent a golf cart from Barb and I recommend this as it gives you a chance to really explore the island….and allows you to quickly get to the beach, or the local water hole (Rum Bay) with ease. What a wonderful home! We could not have asked for anything more. Close to beaches and shopping. Perfect home to enjoy the Florida sun and your own pool. Check in and out was simple and Dave was super easy to Correspond with. Hoping to make this a yearly trip.

What a beautiful place to stay! It was so comfortable and quiet. The pool and Jacuzzi were awesome! We were 10 minutes from anything we needed. Great location and pleasant owners. They quickly responded to any of our questions. Would definitely reserve again.

This is the second year in a row that our family stayed here for Christmas break. It's spacious for all of us with 2 young boys. My son loves the fishing in the canal and we all love relaxing on the lanai while the kids swim. It is the warmest pool we have ever had for swimming. Enjoyed our stay anything that we needed that we usually have it at our own home was there and even more very responsive to any questions the electricity thing kind of got me, but to my understanding Cape coral has very high electrical bills so I let that go quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors

We had a wonderful stay at Paul and Nanci’s place! The space was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. Paul and Nanci were excellent host, providing clear instructions and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view from the observation deck – it was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset! And as for the fishing, the fish definitely bite – we had a great time casting a line and even caught a few! The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely return on my next trip! Thank you, Paul and Nanci, for such a great experience!

Very niece location with easy walk to great restaurants. This home was private and well taken care of. Very kind hosts who were accommodating. Loved the private patio area.

Beautiful spot, not far from numerous restaurants and things to do. Not far from the Charlotte Event Center. Good amenities, stocked cupboards (coffee filters, seasonings, etc). Definitely would stay here again if we visit.

The Duplex was very, very clean. The Charging Station located on the leather sofa was a wonderful extra benefit! Doris was quick to respond to the beeping smoke alarm at the time we checked into the Duplex. Another unexpected plus included the LED lighting on the King Bed headboard! The duplex is on a quiet street but also quick & easy access to a main highway. We were very pleased with our stay and will consider staying here next time.

Great location with lovely views. Home is very comfortable and super clean with perfect location with all the amenities you need. The host is very kind and she has excellent communication.

Our visit at Adam and Mirka’s place was great; quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors and walkable with almost no traffic. Their house was very clean and well taken care of. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the grill was perfect for a BBQ. When I sent questions, Mirka was very quick in her response. Our dogs loved ‘hunting’ for the lizards in the fenced back yard and kept Augi busy for long periods of time. No worries though, he never caught one. The surrounding area is wonderful for taking bike rides. My husband ‘found’ and ‘created’ many excursions for us to take that usually amounted to 13-15 miles - just perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. We would definitely like to rent Adam and Mirka’s place again if/when we vacation in Venus, FL again. We had a wonderful time!

Amy is a terrific host and always on hand with local suggestions, additionally to the comprehensive package at the property. The property itself is in an amazing location, with just a 60 second walk to the beach and bath like sea! To help, Amy provides all the kit needed for the beach with chairs, parasols and towels easily to hand. The kitchen is great with all cooking implements you need and the living room has a massive TV with all the required streaming services logged in. I would definitely recommend Amy as a host!

This was a great condo. Plenty of room and had all the amenities you could imagine since we flew. There were coolers, beach chairs, fishing poles and gear, plenty of beach towels. The washer/dryer in the unit makes all the difference. The beach was not over crowded and we saw dolphins almost every day and even had a manatee swim by on day 5. A green turtle had came up on beach but did not lay her eggs. I missed seeing her but she left tracks that looked like a 4 wheeler. Mote marine lab employees/ volunteers came out and talking with them was great. They do everything they can in this area saving turtles and that makes me so happy.

Amazing stay! Very private, gorgeous property. Our local contact was very responsive. It’s worth the stay just being next to the water and watching the wildlife! Would 100% stay again!

We felt at home, the place was warm and cozy. The instructions were all laid out about everything. The kitchen had everything! We spent most of our time in the pool. It was a great vacation. Pam did an awesome job in communicating and was very responsive. Highly recommend, we would stay again if we have family in town!! Kudos to Pamela and George for extra linens for all the beds, lots of bath towels and everything you need to go to the beach, including towels!

This home was perfect. It was very clean, and had lots of room for our family to spread out. We had both of my kids on virtual school, I had a few zoom calls for work and we took our breaks in the pool! We never ate indoors. The lanai was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the bathtub was relaxing! Loved every minute in this house while visiting family.

Jack and Angelia were great hosts! We had great communication, and they were always quick to respond to any questions. We felt right at home in their beautiful and inviting condo! Highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at William's place! It was peaceful and spacious, and the pool was a huge hit for our three teenagers! They have a beautiful home and shared many amenities with us to use during our stay. Public beaches weren't too far, and they provided recommendations in nearby areas. We will definitely be staying here again!

Mitchell’s place was so nice and homey for our family. My mom, my fiancé, our 8 month old and I all stayed here very comfortably. The two chairs in the living room were rockers so that was a HUGE plus for having a baby. The beach was a super short drive and there is an AWESOME goodwill right next door- if you’re into thrifting like me you’ll love this :) Farlows on the water was an amazing place for lunch. Ken and Barbs was a great place for dinner. Then to top it off, Made in the Shade is a nearby ice cream place that was also delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would love to travel back.
