Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Perfect plan for a quiet vacation combining nature, rest, culture and good addresses.

Charming small Provençal farmhouse with private pool, very quiet in a hamlet in Drôme Provençale, 10 km from Grignan. Overlooking vineyards and a beautifully landscaped garden, this former small mill, completely restored and air-conditioned, is composed of: - On the ground floor: entrance to living room, open kitchen, back kitchen, one bedroom and one bathroom - On the 1st floor: a second bedroom and a second bathroom. We thought of this place as a family home: we live on site in a part of the Bastide with our three daughters and we have created 3 independent cottages with kitchens. Your cottage has independent access, a private terrace and access to the salt pool (shared) and the landscaped Mediterranean garden (dedicated to guests). Our cottages are air-conditioned and equipped with HD TV.

The Bouvaude gite, located in Rousset-les-Vignes in Drôme Provençale in the heart of the Côtes du Rhône. A modern and stylish interior, a large open space gives access to the terrace and pool with exceptional views: Rhone Valley, Ardèche, Cévennes. Vaison-la-Romaine, Nyons, Mont Ventoux, Avignon, Montélimar are nearby. Cleaning fee of €100 to be paid on-site at the end of the stay. €40 may be charged for our 4-legged friends if the house rules are not respected.

In Drôme Provençale, next to Grignan, between vineyards and lavender, our cottage is the only one on the property. It is located upstairs, for four adults, adjoining the owners' farmhouse. 48 m2 living room, with fully equipped open kitchen, relaxation area with 127 cm TV, air conditioning. 35 m2 master suite with walk-in shower, double sinks, separate toilet, air conditioning. 30 m2 mezzanine. Both beds are 160 X 200. Private terrace with Weber barbecue.
