Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Definitely the best place we have ever booked and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will come back for sure!

Incredible place for a family of 6. Place is absolutely beautiful, spotless, lovely location. Genuinely the best villa we’ve ever stayed in. Home cooked Cretan food given too - what a delight. And Valia/the agency was very responsive Would highly recommend (and would book again).

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Family stay (2 adults and two small children) in Kostas' home. The place is spacious, freshly renovated with all the amenities needed. (Crib available). The accommodation is very quiet and clean. The terrace is very nice (In April it was too cool to enjoy the pool). Two tavernas available on Apostoli. We preferred those of Agia Foteni (Sivritos) and Thronos (Aravanes). Rethymno is about 45 min away. Numerous walks or hikes nearby. We enjoyed our stay at LotusLand very much. We'd be happy to go back. Very good communication with Kostas who makes his guests feel comfortable. The only point of improvement is access. The road is in poor condition and it is hard to maneuver. During the day, we were on the main road (below the church).

Breathtaking views! Do you want a clean and beautiful accommodation? Then you've come to the right place! 🤩 The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is simply perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool simply a paradise! Not to forget this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to ensure that we can enjoy our vacation 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria. Thank 🥰 you for everything!

Great apartment, very good amenities, nice pool, quiet location and very friendly hostess! We had some great days here

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

My wife and I loved our stay. The villa was clean and tidy, it was super easy to get into upon out late arrival as well. Our hosts were easy to contact and made sure we had a great stay. The villa is well equipped with amazing fixtures and fittings. We would happily come back again. Thank you Elisabeth and Kritolaos for being such great hosts.

She was the best host that anyone could ever ask for. She went out of her way to give us dinner when we had just arrived (at 11pm) cake and gelatin that she had made from scratch and even gave us amazing places to check out all over Crete. Bless your soul Mandy. I will ALWAYS come back should the opportunity arises. Upon arrival the place was clean and ready on arrival. It was supplied with trash bags, a TV, kitchen supplies, even with some food in the fridge (which we greatly appreciated) great WIFI, and even bathroom and shower toiletries.

We spent wonderful and relaxing holidays in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully furnished, with high-quality furniture and it really lacks nothing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also organized the transfer from the airport and it worked out perfectly. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will gladly think back to the time and come back soon.

One of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed at. Owner is great and took care of everything very fast and efficiently. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a secluded holiday in Crete. We will always go back to this place!

A very tastefully decorated accommodation in a small, quiet village south of the mountains. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! (The sightseeing spots are all further away.) Great restaurants and supermarket are in walking distance. The beach is just across the street. A private small terrace with 2 loungers is accessible from the bedroom, a covered balcony from the living room. The terrace shown in the picture belongs to the entire property We loved being there and can recommend it without restriction! Niko is a very accommodating and friendly host!

Dream accommodation for a quiet vacation away from tourist areas! Pompia is an authentic village of about 1000 inhabitants. You will mostly meet locals while walking in the village and going to restaurants 2 min walk away. The apartments are perfectly suited for cooking and the thick walls make them cool spaces. The setting is peaceful with a roof terrace and beautiful sunsets to watch. It's clearly a gem!

Michael was an excellent host , and we enjoyed our staying, a very private and peaceful zone , we would return definitely!

We spent a week at Eva's place, in a very quiet location surrounded by nature - including beautiful views of the sea. The nearest beach is within walking distance, tamarisk trees even provide shade for longer stays. The nearby village of Lendas has nice taverns and 2 small mini-markets for everyday items. Eva is a very friendly and helpful hostess. The atmosphere in the accommodation, with other residents, is cozy and pleasant. The lovingly furnished amenities of the room offer everything you need in everyday life and are also very comfortable for just lingering. We will be happy to come back.

This place completely exceeded our expectations! It’s absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking, priceless view that made our stay unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and accommodated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

We came 5 people - my husband and I, with our 2 children and my mother-in-law. First of all, a few days before we arrived Elena (an amazing woman with a perfect english) contacted me and made sure she has all the details so she can prepare a perfect stay for us. The house was super clean and equipped, and the outside was the best! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the amazing nature around us. Elena and her husband Yiorgos are wonderful people - they were very kind, caring and responsive. We wish we could come again next summer 🙏🏻

Loved this place. Full of charm and character, had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s in a quiet village, beautiful countryside and not far by car from interesting villages and beaches of southern Crete. We could easily live here. Big tick from us.

The stay in the beautiful cottage with breathtaking views of the sea and the caves of Matala was simply sensational! This view is absolutely worth the steep climb, so be sure to bring good shoes. Sofia is a warm and very attentive hostess, responds quickly and had prepared small delicacies for the reception. The cottage simply has everything you need, very cozy with attention to detail. Now I also understand why this house is almost always occupied.😉 In the evening it can get a bit louder when the live music is loud, but you know that when you go to Matala.

Staying at Sunterra feels like being an honored guest at a Seaside Cretan Villa. My accommodation was lovely and private. Sofia left honey, treats and the best olive oil from her family estate. She checked on me often without being intrusive. I slept to the sounds of the Cretan Sea and the pool is world class. This is one of the best places to stay in the area. A beautiful Crete getaway in a great home. Charikleia will always be there for you to answer your questions, give you good recommendations and even bring some traditional sweets. The accommodation is very well located, quiet and relaxing with all the equipment to be comfortable during the stay. You have nearby not even a 5-minute walk to a small convenience store and a 10-minute walk to the beach and small restaurants (be careful in early November only 4 open restaurants). To get to Elafonisi or Balos, plan to drive 3h10 and 3h45. For a family of three we really enjoyed this largely livable place as a family. The pool is a real plus. It was a great vacation and I really recommend this place. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Thanks for the three of us!

We had an amazing quiet time, the villa matches the photos. Note that the occupants of the villa above can see you, which has bothered us a lot, and that if there are children in the house next door it takes a little off the side alone in the world with the noise. If not, it's great.

This quaint AirBnB was not only comfortable but also a stone’s throw away from the beach. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment - would totally recommend! (Side note: Crete is a gorgeous but absolutely HUGE island, if you want to get around easily and visit other beaches you should definitely hire a car) 🇬🇷
