The Artful Dodger Getaway Cabin Charming & Unique

Our cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from city hustle and bustle. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home including a new Sealy king memory foam mattress. We clean it ourselves and we take care to sanitize all surfaces between bookings. There is a big Ingles nearby and some restaurants as well. Chimney Rock is closed due to Hurricane Helene damage.

Our Sweet Retreat sits down hill from the main road. With a private paved parking area. The house sits approximately 12 steps below parking area with large wrap around porch. The main living area is open with vaulted ceiling. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and a full bath . Upstairs is a small loft and master suite with full bath, fireplace & private deck overlooking the lake. There is a large stone fireplace on the North end of the cabin and a covered deck on the lakeside.

Chimney Rock Treehouse is an amazing place to stay. The pictures really don't do it justice. The tree house itself is absolutely beautiful and has a gorgeous view of Chimney Rock from the porch. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The place is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need minus you, your clothes, and some food. We both loved the rainfall shower and hot tub. Even though it rained the entire time, it was comfortable and homey enough to stay in and truly enjoyed it. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had and excellent recommendations for food in the area. We are already planning on coming back in the future! 10/10 highly recommend!!!!

We had a great time. The views are beautiful and the house is spacious with a great layout for a large group. The house has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished with a fun lake theme. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The kids had a wonderful time at the private lake! They paddled around the lake in their floats and played on the sandy shady beach. It was a bit warm to try out the hot tub and the fire table on the porch but we hope to come back in the spring or fall to take advantage of all the amenities this house has to offer.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin! The pictures don’t do it justice....this place is even more beautiful in person. The views were breathtaking, and honestly, we were just as happy spending our time at the cabin as we were going out to explore. It truly felt like something out of a painting. The cabin itself was small but just right for me, my fiancé, and our dog. It was cozy, comfortable, and everything we needed. Jacqueline was an incredible host. Unlike other places I’ve stayed, she didn’t rush us or bombard us with checkout reminders. She reached out on the morning of checkout with clear instructions, which made the process feel calm and stress-free. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and I already miss it. I can't wait to come back for another peaceful retreat!

This is our favorite mountain getaway! We’ve stayed here multiple times and can’t wait to come back soon! The host has put so much work into her perfect cabin with the comfiest beds ever, tons of toys for the kids, games and everything stocked you could possibly need…and there’s now a HOT TUB! We love swimming in the pool (with a lazy river), playing putt-putt and eating at the restaurants in Rumbling Bald. Oh, and there’s an in-door pool, spa and gorgeous golf course….you don’t even need to leave the community! The host is wonderful to work with and gets back to you very promptly. You won’t regret one minute of your stay!
