My wife and I stayed at Evans place for about 1 month with our children. The apartment was as described in the photos(very nice and clean). The beds were very comfortable to the point you can sleep all day. The building is quiet, and safe(especially for foreigners who are not familiar with the area). There is a hair salon and small local bar in walking distance. Evans responds immediately and tends to your needs as soon as possible. What stood out the most about this place is the cleaner(PAULINE). She always went above and beyond her job description to assure we were comfortable and accommodated. She would tell us about restaurants, malls, and small shops that had good deals. Pauline was very detailed in her cleaning, and always came READY to work with a smile on her face. After a month it was almost like she was family to us. We recommend this place for anyone looking for a long term,or short term stay, not only for its cleanliness, and safety, but for the hospitality they provide.

Nestled in the peaceful, leafy neighborhood of Karen, the property is full of charm and character—every detail from the rustic decor to the lush gardens gives the house a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. What truly sets Amani House apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff were attentive and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. A special shoutout to Russell, who was not only gracious and helpful throughout our visit, but even came to the rescue when our car wouldn’t start. He helped us jump it without hesitation—a small act that meant a lot and reflects the spirit of this special place. If you’re looking for a serene, beautifully designed spot with heart and soul, Amani House is it. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is gorgeous! Vivian was so kind and responsive that I felt I was landing in the country for the first time with a friend waiting for me. She waited up until my late flight got in and welcomed me warmly. The grounds are stunning, the gardens bountiful, and all of people you encounter working there or at the guard gate are friendly and helpful. It is a gated compound on Karen Road and--I like to walk--so I walked to the Karen Garden and Coffee Shop down the road and to the Karen Blixen museum. Ubers are responsive, reliable, and cheap. Great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. Highly recommend!
