We were staying for a nearby festival and could not have wanted for anything more in a place to stay. A lovely breakfast was provided including home-made bread for toast, fruit and all the things to make it a home from home. The rooms were private, immaculately clean and the bed very comfy after a hard day on our feet. Check-in and check-out were simple and painless, even though we arrived late in the evening. All in all excellent, we will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Immaculately clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Tom, our host, was fantastic throughout making communication easy. The Annex is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you might need including breakfast - the king-size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also extremely well equipped with lovely smelling toiletries, even toothpaste, with thick luxurious towels and a large shower. Set in a great, quiet location the annex is within a short stroll to the local pub which has a friendly atmosphere, great food/drink and a large garden. We would not hesitate in recommending and would certainly use again. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay.

Lizzie’s place was perfect for our family of four. It was quiet and peaceful, very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including to cook some meals. It is well located to explore the Peak District and nearby towns. There are also some nice walks from the property and lots of great places to eat nearby (e.g. Elephant & Peackock and Spotted Cow). Thank you to Lizzie for being a great host!

We absolutely loved staying at The Paddock, Nicky was so accommodating and lovely. She welcomed us in, gave us advice for local places to visit and made it easy to feel right at home. Easy to find and plenty of room to park. We would definitely recommend Belvoir Castle just a short drive away. Thank you so much Nicky.

We had a lovely stay at The Hideaway and really enjoyed being in the countryside. Lovely spot to sit outside and relax.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Well planned and appointed with clear instructions that make arriving and settling in easy and relaxing. Loved the decor, the garden was a little bit of heaven and the hot tub the icing on the cake. Perfect for a romantic get away.

Michelle was the most amazing host, from the moment I put in a request to book overnight for my partner's 50th birthday, as we were having a meal at the amazing JB Kitchen restaurant around the corner for her she went out of her way to answer all of my questions, and on the day before our stay when the restaurant had an emergency, she even went to find out if they'd be open on the evening we'd booked (which they were, thankfully!), and offered us lifts to and from the restaurant. She was an incredibly welcoming and friendly host, the room and ensuite were pristine, lovely and cosy, a very comfortable bed; kettle, microwave, small fridge, teas and coffees and milk in the fridge, lovely and warm on a cold wintry night - even the bed was warmed up for us! We felt very welcome and well looked after, it was a nice big room and lovely house and we would 100% stay there again and wholeheartedly recommend. You can also order breakfast for the morning, which we did, and it was very tasty! Fab!

Wow ! what can we say ,it was perfect from the first, booking ,communicating, accurate description, accurate directions, stunning studio, home from home (well better than home !!!!🙈 ) Lynne was the perfect host ,the welcoming basket was wonderful, to be able to sit out in the sunshine when we arrived with lemon drizzle cake and coffee what more do you need , highly recommend Lynne's studio!! 😍😍

Fantastic place to stay. Was immaculately clean with lots of nice touches to make you feel at home. Especially loved the fact that there was oat milk sachets available - the sort of extra thought most hosts wouldn’t include.

Great location for our wedding venue stay. The cabin had everything you need and more. Host had provided drinks and breakfast items and snacks. Also milk and water which was lovely. Toiletries provided too. Thank you!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The setting is beautiful and views are absolutely stunning. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Everything was clean and comfortable and Helen is such a welcoming host. Highly recommended. If you're looking to stay in the English countryside look no further.

Helen was an amazing host and really attentive when welcoming us. She was available if we needed anything but she also gave us privacy during our stay. Her guest house is gorgeous. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This gem of a place is in such a beautiful, and peaceful setting, and there is use of Sarah's wonderful garden. And, you get to meet Douglas too ! We basically left the car and walked everywhere. Duffield is on the doorstep and Little Eaton nearby. There is loads to do in this area, so many walks, pubs, dog friendly places and great bus links. Sarah made us feel completely at home, let us use her garden and gave advice on local places. She's extremely easy to get on with and her annex is spacious, clean, warm and light. We took some breakfast things but there's loads of options nearby to eat brunch and the same for evening meals. Definitely worth every penny ! ps this is a reference to the bathroom 🚻

Lovely home, spacious bedrooms. Clean and very nicely presented. Really well set up for families with travel cot, high chair etc. Beautiful village location with a great cafe. Hosts were lovely, accommodating and welcoming. Stayed recently for a local wedding and it was a perfect weekend and great base for exploring locally.
