Welcome to Island Peace, our beautiful island getaway for family vacations or small retreats. We’re located in a quiet neighborhood with ample yardspace for playing and watching the deer roam. Located a couple-minute walk to a semi-private sandy beach, you can swim in the crystal clear, shallow water of the St. Clair River’s South Channel while watching freighters pass by. Enjoy fishing or watching sunsets from our North Channel dock or one of the several DNR access points throughout the island.

Our home is directly across the river from the Algonac boat launch and just a 2-minute drive from the ferry. There is a large open floor plan with plenty of space to entertain and outside is a spacious L-shaped deck. There is a fully equipped kitchen, no need to bring anything but your food/drinks. All towels, linens, pillows, etc. are provided. Relax and stay a while

You can fish from the river or canal. It comes with or without a boat! There are 2 boat launches. The St Clair flats, largest freshwater delta in the world, and the St John's Marsh, a wildlife refuge, are near. Travel the waterways and you'll understand why Algonac is called the Venice of America.

The property is a lower unit located on a canal with all the amenities you need. It’s within walking distance to local establishments and Algonac State Park. There is great fishing, boating, walking trails, and other activities in the area.
