Lovely little bolthole, incredible location in the heart of the village. You’re a minute walk away from most of the restaurants, pubs and sights. Getting checked in was super easy and the place was spotless, thank you Nia!

The cottage has a wonderful atmosphere, where you can relax and enjoy the quiet garden setting. The location is ideal, Grasmere is within walking distance and there is a bus stop a short walk down the road, giving you easy access to the local villages. Walking tracks are nearby.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay, and the accommodation was clean and very well equipped. The location was great as it was approx 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Ambleside in one direction and about the same fom Lake Windermere in the other direction, and there were scenic walking routes from right outside the front door. We went by train and bus, and with a pre-arranged delivery from a local supermarket, it all worked really well.
