Very close to the city center (10min walk from the train station) is perfect for a couple. After a long day, the fire in the fireplace will comfort you. Andrzej is very quick to answer and even brought us wood during the day because we didn't have any more.

Damien and Nadine are absolutely perfect hosts, it was a great pleasure to meet them and to stay in their beautiful apartment! They speak so many languages that the communication couldn't be any easier! Their place is impeccably clean, modern and has all the comfort one can wish for. My room had a comfortable bed, a working desk and yet enough space for doing some exercise on my yoga-mat in the morning! :) The WiFi works perfectly and there are free parking spaces in front of the house. I left my car there and went to the city center by bus (Nadine and Damien explained everything about it and gave me great an very helpful tips!), which stops more or less right in front of the house too and only takes less than 10 minutes. I received answers to all my questions before and after the arrival immediately and the check-in was perfectly simple. Great hosts, great place, highly recommendable!

I had a very pleasant stay with Barbara. The room is located in a beautiful architect's house, perfectly clean and warm. The house is easily and quickly accessible by bus from the station or the center of Friborg (10-15 min). Barbara is also a charming host, very welcoming, with whom it is very interesting to chat!

Beautiful cosy place with a wonderful host! If you wish, you can get fit by walking from and back from the centre via old town and get hundreds of steps up and down together with wonderful old town feeling and views with the sound of cow bells... Or take easier path by the bridge which will give you great views as well. It was every time great to get to the spacious living space of the house with such an amazing light! I can highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Didier's place. The internet was excellent and we all the amenities needed. The bed was great. The location of the place is in the beautiful old part of the city, but expect to climb 250+ to the center as the elevation difference is around 100m (you can use the funicular as well as it is a part of public transport). All in all I can recommend this place and the host with no hesitation.

I had a lovely time here. It's a really unusually-situated place, with a great cliff on one side where the main part of town is (you have to use a funicular to get into town, although there are steps as well) and a beautiful river on the other side, with another cliff beyond that. You're in a city, but it feels as if you're in the country. It's wonderfully quiet at all times of the day. My room was spacious, beautifully clean, with a really good bed - I got a great night's sleep every night. My hosts were charming, and very helpful. Highly recommended.

It's a charming place in an amazing part of the old town. I came to Fribourg because of work, so I didn't have a lot of time to explore the city, but this apartment gave me a chance to spend a little bit of time in a lovely part of Fribourg.

Didier was very accommodating of our busy schedule. Beautiful location overlooking the river. Lovely flat with a balcony for morning coffee. Bed was super comfy! Quiet and relaxing. The funicular was a great way to travel up to the train station and town center. Highly recommend and there are hiking trails nearby as well!

We had an exceptional stay in the studio Didier perfectly located, and decorated with beautiful paintings! The small balcony overlooking the Sarine and Loreto is ideal in summer. To choose without hesitation!

Didier’s place is beautifully set by the main river that runs through Fribourg, with close by shops and cafés. The room is spacious and beautifully presented with a lovely balcony to sit out and appreciate the views of the valley. The place has all you need and is presented well. I had a very enjoyable stay! Hello everyone. Didier's place is a GREAT starting point to visit Fribourg and organize your trip.Very close to the train station and museums, you can cover everything by foot and enjoy nature from every angle. We haven't met Didier, he himself being in holiday at that time but we communicated easily in writing and his friend ( Mireisy ) was always available.The artwork was a very nice touch. Great stay with Carolina, a warm, welcome and sociable host. I enjoyed her company and her quiet, roomy apartment. The location was good, a walking distance from Old Fribourg and a bus ride away from the Central Train station. Great mattress, clean kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend: the room is super well located, perfectly equipped with quality products (very good bedding, for example!) The apartment is funnily and tastefully furnished, it feels good right now and the configuration of the premises lends itself perfectly to cohabitation, no problem to have on this plan. Frankly, it's even better in real life than in the photos! Liliane is extremely interesting, has lots of good advice and has also been very flexible for arrival and departure. I had a great stay!

I enjoyed the stay at Liliane's place. It is centrally located in a nice street with restaurants and shops and close to the train station. Liliane was very flexible to allow early check-in, as I arrived quite early. I felt welcome and at home, but with enough privacy not to feel that I am intruding in another persons private space.

Dear Barbara, dear readership The hostess maintains a great room with a bathroom. It is all tip-top in the shot and it is easy to reach by bus. It recommends the same as the bus because the path leads over the old town in which you go down then back up to the house. the whole distance only 2.2 km according to google maps butw just 100 height meters to the bottom and 120 meters to obem. I will probably book this room again because it is highly recommended. lovely wishes

Barbara's room with private bath is highly recommended. It is clean and tastefully decorated, located in a quiet neighborhood, yet within easy reach of the city. Barbara gave us valuable tips on restaurants and bus connections. She was very straightforward, warm and attentive. We felt very comfortable and thank you for the nice stay.

I love the place as it is further from the city center. I enjoy the walk to city center via the old town area. It is a quiet place and you feel peaceful in that area. Within a walking distance, you have a great view of Old town!

P Andrea's accommodation is immaculately clean, it is very well located in the city of Friborg, less than 10 minutes on foot from the city center and the train station, 2 minutes from supermarkets, a pharmacy and a bakery. , we lack nothing, and despite being in town we are in a very quiet and very pleasant area. Through this wonderful stay, I got the first good impression in Fribourg, Switzerland. The host was really nice and kind (I think she's the best host among many other hosts that I've met through airbnb). Also the house was exactly same as the photos on the site and much better than I expected; beautiful view and nice neighbors, good locations, big size of the room. All things (that I need) were equipped in this airbnb and I could see the host's small and big warm touches on this house. I liked this house so much and loved my stay in here. Needless to say, I want to recommend this house for more than 1000000 times!

Location a little on the heights of Freiburg, very quiet area ..

The appartment is beatiful and peaceful. It´s very close to the train station and you have some supermarket close with everything you need. And you can go anywhere easily. Andrea is very friendly. I recommend this appartment. It´s perfect.

I discovered a pleasant place, extremely clean, where everything is decorated with refinement and love. The most touching was the generosity: small messages "serve" mini products in the bathroom; organic products in the fridge and a lunch table waiting for me. The heart on the hand is a value that helps to build a new world and Andrea contributes in a beautiful way. The bedding, just perfect, and the calm of Vignettaz allowed me to live a restorative night. A delightful feeling to have lived a moment in the House of happiness, in a beautiful person who wants to share its values. I feel lucky to have been able to live this beautiful moment.

The room - or you better write the apartment? - Andrea is probably the pearl of airbnb for Friborg. You can not get it better. The room is tastefully decorated, sunny, quiet and the private bathroom and the kitchen just great. Everything was clean, everything was beautiful. But what really makes it a pearl is Andrea herself - a great, interested and generous hostess.

Offered to come pick me up at the station (despite the flat being literally a two minute walk away) and even allowed me to leave my bags in the flat well past check-out time. The accommodation is extremely centrally located in a beautiful old town house. The whole house is lovingly and tastefully, charmingly and comfortably furnished. What we particularly liked is the quietness despite the central location, the very comfortable bed and the easy access via a code. Communication with anise was prompt, warm and uncomplicated. Very stylish room, nicely -- not excessively -- decorated in a historical building. Quiet room, wonderful Saturday morning right in front of the rez-de-chaussee breakfast room. All major sites of Fribourg in easy walkingdistance. Communication extremely swift, friendly and kind, copious info material in the entry hall. Possibility to leave luggage in breakfast room after 11am checkout. Fully recommended!

We've spent 6 weeks in Olivier's place and loved every minute. It is located in the old part of town (the best part of Fribourg, if you ask me) where you have a feeling that time stopped decades ago: people meet in the square, the children run around and play and the locals enjoy the sun outside the restaurants. The apartment has great views of this square and surrounding nature and you can spend hours just sitting at the dining table, enjoying the views and the atmosphere and chilling. It also has a well equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a lot of space for cosmetics and a good mattress. Oli is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. I would highly recommend it.

Isabella’s place is situated in the center of Fribourg, on one of the main streets. This means close access to bars, restaurants and the main sights. And since the window looks on to a little side road, it’s not noisy at all. Would recommend this to any solo travelers !

Niama's place is situated in a very well connected area for commuting within Fribourg and around. The house is very spacious, bright and airy with beautiful scenic views from all the rooms and balcony with all basic amenities. Niama as a host was very welcoming and friendly. She was very prompt with her responses and was there at the house to welcome us and made sure we had a comfortable stay. Location wise the house is well connected to Fribourg station at just 8 mins in buses. The bus stops are right outside the apartment and buses are available until quite late. From my personal experience I can definitely say that the surroundings are very peaceful and safe even at late night. If your planning to travel around Switzerland I would recommend this place to be made as the base rather than some crowded places in the Central (Interlaken,Lucern...). You would feel that you have a home in Switzerland to go back to after the day outing. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The room is in a private house on the upper floor. The neighbouring room is also rented out. Carole is extremely helpful and always responded fast to my questions. The place was clean and the garden (with chickens) is absolutely amazing!

Colorfully and comfortably designed room in a family house. It offers plenty of space and has a bed and a small sofa and a workplace. Quiet and sunny location in a residential area just above the city center. Center, train station and the University Perolles can be reached quickly by bus (10-15 minutes) without changing. There is another guest room in the house, but I was alone during my stay. The reception by Carole was very friendly and very uncomplicated. Many Thanks!
