  • Pete was quick to respond and helpful with local tips. He also kindly let us change our date when we could not make our initial date. The breakfast provided was of high quality ingredient with the sausage being the highlight! We really enjoyed our stay despite the stormy weather and we would highly recommend the hut for a staycation.

  • We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the hut. It was spotlessly clean, much bigger than expected and very warm and cosy. The log burner was a great feature. Lovely warm welcome and easy check in and check out. We went for a long walk around the local area on the Saturday. Highly recommend the Bull Hotel for dinner. Great food, wine list and cocktails. All in all a lovely bolthole and would highly recommend.

Quirky grade 2 listed first floor apartment in the heart of West Malling , just off the High Street it is also very quiet and peaceful . There are many bars , restaurants and specialty shops , mainly all of which are also in listed buildings and within a five minute walk and yet in less than ten minutes you can be walking around beautiful countryside and parks . There is a mainline train station covering London Victoria and Ashford International , again a ten minute walk away .
My place is a 17 th century apartment , in part of a building that used to be used for drying hops . It has two bedrooms , one bathroom and although shared with myself guests are welcome to make use of the main living / kitchen area .
  • I stayed with Helen sporadically over a five week period whilst working in the area. I loved staying there. It was deliciously cosy. Helen is very welcoming and makes a lovely cup of tea. Thank you Helen!

  • Helen is a nice lady. The room was very nice. The parking was never a problem. Having previously lived near the town it was a treat to come back. The house is off the high street and so is quiet but it is to get to get to Tescos, pubs places to eat and the station.

    Dean2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy room and comfy bed, perfect for one person. Helen is kind and welcoming and made the stay pleasant. Short walk to the train station, not difficult to find if you follow Helen’s instructions.

The mini house is built in Steve's garden and it's a fantastic place to wake up in the morning with gorgeous views. Although only a sofa bed it is just as big and comfy as a double, the sheets and pillows were fresh, great quality and smelled amazing. The bathroom/shower is very clean and well decorated. The little dog they have is very friendly as well!

Step inside and embrace the tranquility of this delightful cottage which has been lovingly refurbished to create a calm, relaxed space with a homely log burner for chilly winter nights and a peaceful terrace for warm summer days.
This delightful cottage has been lovingly refurbished and now offers a luxurious, but cosy and comfortable space for a perfect weekend getaway. The cottage is located in the garden of our house, but is completely separate and private. We are on hand if you need us, but will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay unless you tell us otherwise. The cottage is a light, bright space, with bifold doors leading on to a private terrace equipped with garden table and chairs and a gas BBQ. Inside, the space has been beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen, large dining table/work space, comfortable sofa (which can be converted into an additional kingsize bed), TV with DVD player, free WiFi, etc. A number of DVDs are available for you to borrow as well as a number of guide books/walking books relating to the local area. The bedroom has a luxurious kingsize bed with sumptuous bedlinen - perfect for a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a powerful shower - towels, etc are provided for your stay. Outside the cottage we have a secure shed where 2 bikes can be stored - this is a very popular area for cyclists and walkers alike.
Tucked behind our family home, the cottage is set in the heart of our pretty village surrounded by miles of beautiful Kent countryside in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - lots of lovely walks on our doorstep. The village shop is two doors away and our friendly local pub a 5-minute walk down the street. Sevenoaks and Tonbridge are a 15-minute drive with direct trains into London (30-minutes) and the spa town of Tunbridge Wells is just a 25-minute drive. A car is essential.
  • Naomi's place is well decorated and has a very homely feel. It has a traditional style but a modern flair; all amenities and appliances are of good quality. Additionally the bed is super comfortable which was a relief after staying in many Airbnbs which lacked this. Location wise there isn't much to do in the immediate vicinity other than a small village convenience store- but that's what we anticipated anyway. A car is probably a good idea. There are a lot of walks you can take directly from the cottage but we preferred to drive a short while to pick up the main routes further out and get food in one of the nearby towns. Naomi's own house is right next to the property, and she is very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside.

    James2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful place to stay, you won't be disappointed at all. One of the best places we've stayed in.

    Ryan2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely weekend in Naomi's perfect cottage. We struck some bad weather (Storm Dennis) and were glad to have the comfy couch and a fireplace to enjoy. The cottage had everything we needed, and Naomi had thoughtfully left a bottle of milk in the fridge. The pub (papermakers arms) down the road was great too! Thanks again Naomi!

    Stephanie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy and thoughtfully decorated cottage with excellent pub nearby

    Raj2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous cottage. The place had character and the interior design is lovely. It’s the type of place where you can really just relax and let be. We can’t wait to come back again!!!

    R2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely place to stay, we loved the decor, the detail to attention was great! The location is lovely with lots to do nearby, as well as a local shop a couple of doors down. Naomi was a good host and offered help at all times if we needed it. The cottage was genuinely lovely and cosy, and absolutely spotless with all the amenities needed! No complaints and very happy with our stay

    Louise2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was wonderful. Wood burner made for a cosy time away on a wintery weekend. Decor through the whole place made the weekend feel very special. My wife and I both remarked that this is probably the nicest place with ever stayed in the UK!

    Chris2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here as a Christmas present to my husband to give us somewhere to relax after the busy run up to Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The house itself is decorated beautifully with all the amenities you would expect and is in such a lovely location. We went for a walk through the countryside to visit some local national trust sites and where amazed at how peaceful and friendly the place is. The log burner is an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

Situated at 'The Lost Village of Dode', Woodside is one of two semi-detached cottages we offer situated in complete tranquility at the end of a 'no through road' in the depths of the Kent countryside, five miles south of historic Rochester. Designed very much as a small, country 'hideaway' this really is an ideal place if you're looking for a magical, even spiritual place to retreat to for complete peace and quiet.
Woodside is located next door to our neighbour retreat Hillview. Built of green oak and recycled materials with imaginative use of handcrafted wrought iron work has been used to great effect throughout. Designed very much as a small, country retreat to be 'inward' looking, you'll find that the minute you set foot inside the door the cares of the world melt away as you begin to unwind and soak up the atmosphere with its intimate, almost medieval, feel. Comfortable, contemporary furnishings in all the living space allow guests to relax and make the most of their stay. Great use has been made of the available living space and all the rooms are well equipped for their size. What makes this cottage unique is that it lies in a tiny hamlet known locally as Dode which was virtually wiped out by The Black Death in the 14th century. All that remains of the original village is the small, former, Norman church, which was last used as a place of worship in 1367, then deconsecrated. Restored in the Victorian era, it is now a popular venue for civil wedding ceremonies. The site as a whole is steeped in ancient history, details of which can be obtained from the owner, who is an expert on the subject.
The Lost Village of Dode Far lies far away, in a magical place, where time has stood still, in an almost forgotten valley between Luddesdown and Holly Hill, nestled in the North Kent Downs in the South East of England, there stands a beautiful, enchanting & romantic Norman church which is loved and cared for by your hosts Doug & Mary, it is the only remaining trace of 'The Lost Village of Dode'. This unique, lovingly restored, Norman church, located within an amazing setting is home to our unique wedding venue and two cottage retreats Woodside & Hillview. The two cottages stand just below and within the grounds of the church and enjoy a really peaceful outlook across fields and up to woodland on Holly Hill. It's a superb location for keen walkers with easy access onto the North Downs/Pilgrims Way, which leads to England's premier cathedral city of Canterbury. Although well away from busy main roads, Dode is within comfortable driving distance of a number of visitor attractions, such as the majestic Leeds Castle, medieval Igtham Mote, Chartwell, former home of Sir Winston Churchill, and the historic naval dockyard at Chatham. The cathedral city of Rochester with its Norman castle above the River Medway, is an easy drive as are the creeks and inlets of the north Kent coastline where there are a number of RSPB bird sanctuaries. London, via the M20 is an hour's drive. For a family day out, why not try Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, or slightly further afield the seaside town of  Margate (about an hour's drive), with it's many and varied attractions.
  • Such a great place! Cottage was amazing and located in a beautiful valley. Couldn’t have asked for more.

  • it certainly is a very special place. My wife was brought up less than 8 miles from here and we couldn't believe such a peaceful place could exist anywhere near this location. An enchanting place with so many lovely walks, I will certainly be looking to stay again.

  • Excellent, so much better than I could have hoped for. Clean and cosy.

  • The cottages are in a very secluded and very quiet part of Kent, snuck away at the end of its own valley lane next to a Norman church. No people and no mobile signal! The facilities inside are great and has some lovely touches such as wrought iron work, big rugs and a gallery bedroom. It also has a large hot tub in the main bedroom. Certainly a great location for walks to the local country pubs of Meopham and Cobham.

    Chris2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little place to stay! Communication was good- and everything was as expected. So calm and peaceful.

    Heather2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Woodside. It’s set in a wonderful rural location - Incredibly peaceful and quite. At night the only sound we could hear were the many owls hooting in the woods. Beautiful! I’d recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from it all, and yet still be close to amenities.

My apartment is within an easily accessible part of the wonderful Kings Hill; just a couple of mins drive (or spirited walk) to the heart of the development's shops. An isolated Coach House, there is no one below or above to disturb. There's also a private parking spot and ample visitor spaces. Kings Hill is 5 mins from West Malling, which has a selection of great pubs and restaurants. With the M20 closeby, Maidstone is a 20 min drive. Alternatively, stay in and enjoy the big TV and footrest!
The Coach House is everything you would expect of a modern apartment - open plan, good shower, big TV and strong WiFi signal! You should have everything you need - there's an ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and all the essentials to enjoy your stay.
Kings Hills is a very in demand housing development for families. My apartment is a short walk from the woods, and also the main shops (Asda, Waitrose, Costa, restaurants, dry cleaners etc.). If you wish to venture slightly further, West Malling and Offham are delightfully Kentish with great places to drink and eat. You are also not far from the M20.
  • My husband and I stayed at Rob's place whilst I was working in the area. Rob was quick at replying and check in was super easy, even accommodating us arriving slightly early when we didn't hit traffic on the drive down. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including shops nearby too :) We really enjoyed our stay and would more than happily recommend it! We hope to stay again in the future :D

  • Absolutely lovely place! Very relaxing and stylish. Definitely will be back, thanks!

    Megan2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very modern and clean flat. Host Rob (and Clare) very helpful finding place, just because its a new build and satnav and google maps haven’t been updated. Would recommend. If you are, like us looking to stay in and shut the world out you’ll need Netflix or amazon prime account, as there is a lovely big tv but no free view channels to watch.

    Sarah2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We found Rob and Claire's place to be clean, comfortable and exactly what we wanted for our Christmas base for visiting family in the area. We really valued their quick and helpful communication, and the parking space available. We'll likely book again for around the same time next year.

    David2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Had an excellent stay at Rob's place, couldnt have asked for anything more. Very close to west malling station and the town centre. Easy for commute. One of the best Airbnb places I have ever stayed in.

Perfect for visiting the Kent countryside which is peppered with stately homes and castles, Pear Tree Garden is set in the middle of a fruit farm with nothing but beautiful views of the Garden of England surrounding it. 1/2 an hour from Royal Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks, an hour from historic Battle and Hastings and 45 minutes by train from London. Folkestone, where you can drive through to France via the Eurotunnel, is less than an hour away. One hour from Heathrow and 40 minutes from Gatwick
Although situated in the Pear Orchard of our home, Pear Tree Garden has its own parking area and path. A welcome hamper will make you feel at home on arrival. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, oven & hob, microwave and washing machine. Towels/bed linen/toiletries all provided. Outside you have a patio with Garden furniture and a barbecue. For your information, we very occasionally have friends and/or family staying in the apartment above.
West Peckham is a tiny, gated village - one of only two in the entire country which you cannot drive through. Once past the white gates, you will find only the gorgeous Saxon church of St. Dunstan and The Swan on the Green, a gastro pub with an excellent menu of freshly cooked, local produce. if you are into your beer, it has its own micro-brewery! There are often social events held on the green outside The Swan including Morris Dancing, fetes and live music.
  • I have rarely been so enthusiastic. A top cottage with top hosts. We felt comfortable from day one and would have loved to stay longer. We highly recommend the cottage. If anyone deserves the Superhost marker, it's Steve and his wife.

  • Diane is a very welcoming host and the apartment is very quiet and comfortable

    Stacey2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We booked a last minute trip at dianes, she was very welcoming and helpful to make sure we enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful spot close to the high street, train station and plenty of taxis and buses. There were lovely touches through out the flat, Diane was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the place so much that we decided to stay another night last minute and Diane was very accomodating to us. Would totally recommend this place! Only issue is that you may not want to leave! Can’t wait to stay again.

  • Was at Brands Hatch for the weekend and needed a place to stay close by. We stayed at Diane’s and what a brilliant place. Is very well located, set in Diane’s beautiful home with a lovely garden to play in. Property was well kept, tidy and had everything you need. We felt Diane went over and above for our stay, she provided some bits such as milk and bread and also took into account who was staying and proved alcoholic drinks to suit. Would highly recommend this lovely place in a great location

    Aiden2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a great apartment! Spacious, spotlessly clean and just about everything you could want, plus the extra personal touches of Diane. The garden is extensive and the views lovely. If you have dogs, they are most welcome and well catered for. Diane has two dogs of her own. The location of the apartment is great for visiting all the National Trust and English Heritage places. Would definitely recommend.

    Barbara2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a large, clean, wonderfully presented place with a lovely host and lots of thoughtful little touches then you need not look any further than Diane's place. The garden was well enjoyed by our dog and I know she can't wait to come back again to chase rabbits. We loved the arrangement of the place and all the little things that Diane has done to make it feel like home. The location was also perfect and made of nice little walks after a buay day out. Booking again for next year for sure.

  • Napps Farm well exceeded my expectations. Having stayed at many airbnbs I don't think I've met such wonderful hosts as Sally and Rodney. They were very attentive and thoughtful especially as we were travelling with 2 infants. Accommodation was very clean and the lounge area was great to hang out with our friends once the kids have gone to bed. Location excellent: many wonderful sights to see within a very short drive (incl. National Trust attraction), wine tasting, quaint pubs, as well as supermarkets). I would definitely come back to stay again!

  • Of all the Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in, this is my favorite. The little cottage was perfectly situated in the English countryside and was extremely comfortable with everything I needed. There were lovely treats left by the host, which was much appreciated after my transatlantic flight and the house was cosy and warm. The views were spectacular! I didn’t watch any TV while I was there, but there are two and a small vintage radio next to the bed. Shower was amazing. I didn’t rent a car as my brother lives nearby, and I love walking on the footpaths , but you might need one if you stay here. It’s not hard to walk to the station with trains to Victoria and there is a local cab company. Christine and Trevor were lovely and were very helpful without being interfering , and gave many tips with the local walks. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back one day!

  • Comfortable and quiet cottage with delightful hosts - just as described, and with full cooking facilities, pots and pans etc, including a cafetiere. Very nice welcome with a cream tea and wine, followed by helpful advice on places to visit as needed.

    Caroline2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a delightful cottage in a very beautiful part of the county, truly the garden of England. The cottage has everything you will need for your stay. There are stairs up to the bedroom but it is worth it for the space, the view and the comfort. We did not meet Christine but Trevor was a perfect host. You will probably need a car to stay in this cottage, and enjoy driving the country lanes. There is a station nearby for the trekkers with little luggage. We really enjoyed or stay.

The facilities were all first class and the view of the garden from the bedroom window was amazing. Christine and Trevor made us fell welcome and at home. I would definitely come back to Derbies.

  • Christine is a fantastic host and makes you feel very welcome during your stay. The place is very cosy and feels like home. Would highly recommend to anyone interested to stay

  • Derbies is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing place to be. I look forward to many more visits in the New Year. Christine and Trevor were the perfect hosts and it was great to know they were just next door. My trip exceeded my expectations; from the view out of the bedroom window, to the cosy lounge and not forgetting the bottle of wine and homemade chocolates in the fridge. Thank you.

  • Derbies Cottage is in a fantastic location, you can walk to East Malling Station and Kings Hill easily. The views are so beautiful with many walks and sights to be had nearby. The cottage is cosy and hosts an array of thoughtful amenities to make your stay very comfortable. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you so much.

Ightham is one of the many delightful Wealden villages in ‘The Garden of England’. In the foothills of the North Downs, the village Square with its medieval half-timbered houses still reflects a century’s old rural existence. The George & Dragon pub provides food all day and is approximately 5 minutes walk, initially on road but on footpaths once you reach the village. We have no street lighting but torches are provided. Other pubs serving food are a short drive away.
  • The accommodation at Penny's place is 5 star. You could not ask for more. She has thought of everything. Quiet and peaceful but still accessible to all the local attractions. A 10 out of 10 for everything.

  • Absolutely incredible stay with Carol and Colin! I would whole heartedly recommend this place to anybody! Thank you for an amazing stay xxx

    Marie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • CJ and Colin are such amazing hosts and I highly recommend to everyone to get out of London and into the English countryside for this Airbnb stay experience. The Coach House was a perfect home away from home. There are thoughtful touches of hospitality everywhere: fresh eggs from the backyard chickens, cozy robes and slippers, Kent guidebooks, ample supplies of tea and coffee. The space you have all to yourself is large and luxurious - with cathedral ceilings, clawfoot soaking tub, piano, outdoor patio, etc. Since I was staying at The Coach House solo most of the time, CJ, Colin, and their teenage son invited me over to their part of the house for dinner one evening. CJ is a chef and cooking instructor at a famous seafood market in London and she made the most mouth-watering Goan fish curry with cod, mussels, and prawns, that I’ll be dreaming about. The location is ideal and served as a great base for day-trips to Dover, Canterbury, Brighton, London, etc. It’s right near the village of Borough Green, with grocery, restaurants, etc. and there are plenty of lovely rural pathways to ramble down close to home. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely come back to stay at The Coach House. Thank you CJ, Colin, and Joe!

  • What a find! This is just the cutest place. The beds are super comfy, the hospitality was superb, just like staying with friends. This gorgeous place is full of old world charm, very rural but just 15 minutes into Tonbridge. We ordered an Indian delivery as we were too tired to eat out. In the morning we were presented with delicious scrambled eggs fresh from Carol's chickens. We were even given a gift of eggs to take home. This is an exceptional Airbnb and such incrediblevalue for money. I shall be back. X

    Gill2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely stay. Carol cooked us a wonderful breakfast of scrambled eggs (using fresh eggs from her chickens) and smoked haddock when there was a power cut.

    Jayne2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Carol made us and our daughters feel so welcome in her home, she even left us homemade jam and marmalade for breakfast which was really delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. Our beds were very comfortable and the bath upstairs was lovely. We all really enjoyed our stay.

  • I and my family stayed for a while at Kent Coach House and it’s a lovely place in a good location. A very pretty house in a convenient village location surrounded by beautiful countryside. A great place to stay. Comfy beds. Very clean and well equipped. Carol and her family were very helpful and available. I would recommend their accommodation to anyone. We would stay again. Perfectly suited our needs.

Our cosy apartment is just a 10min walk to the historic town of West Malling with lovely bars and many great restaurants and independent shops. The local mainline train station to London Victoria and Ashford International is a 5 min drive ( or 15 min walk) and the M26/M25 motorways are just around the corner too.
Our studio apartment has its own private entrance with one bedroom, ensuite bathroom, kitchen open plan living room area. Free parking is available on the drive.
West Malling is a pretty Kent town with super restaurants and bars along with a busy farmers’ market which takes place in the centre of town on the fourth Sunday of every month and won last year’s Kent Life and Kent on Sunday Farmers’ Market of the Year award. Along with Leeds Castle, Brands Hatch and Tunbridge Wells. We are just a 40min drive to the seaside town of Whitstable.
  • A lovely location. Place is really special. All you need for any length of stay. Hosts were very helpful. Fresh flowers in place, nice touch. Bed was really comfortable, and I slept well. Would recommend it.

  • Amazing people! So sweet, attentive and Elizabeth went an extra-mile for us to facilitate our stay with a toddler. Forever grateful for that :)

    Janja2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a month at Elizabeth and Gary’s apartment while visiting family nearby and would be very happy to stay again next time we are in the area. They were warm and friendly hosts who responded promptly to messages but were always careful to give us our privacy. The living area was decorated with interesting artworks, books and curios to make it feel homely, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen – we are still missing our morning espressos made with the coffee maker! The bedroom was small but cosy and the bed very comfortable. Their home is in a leafy location set back from the road so it’s peaceful and quiet but just a short walk to the train station and the pubs and restaurants at West Malling.

  • We had the best stay here. The house was amazing and we loved the character of the beautiful old house. Dawn went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and provided a lovely haven for us in between a 2 day course we were down for. The dogs Duffy and Dexter made us fall in love instantly and were just the most loving placid dogs we had ever met. Dawn was just an incredible host and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We felt comfortable, at home and looked after. A million times better than any travelodge and so much better value.

Situated at 'The Lost Village of Dode', Hillview is one of two semi-detached cottages we offer situated in complete tranquility at the end of a 'no through road' in the depths of the Kent countryside, five miles south of historic Rochester. Designed very much as a small, country 'hideaway' this really is an ideal place if you're looking for a magical, even spiritual place to retreat to for complete peace and quiet.
Hillview is the neighbouring cottage of Woodside. Built of green oak with imaginative use of handcrafted wrought iron work, the cottage, was designed to be 'inward' looking to promote solitude and silence. It is timber framed with the ceiling in the sleeping loft being particularly spectacular.
  • Dougs cottage was very nice to stay a weekend at. There are 2 cottages in the building and there may be other guests there. The location is very remote, but beautiful. A perfect getaway. There‘s heating, towels, coffee and tea maker and a hairdryer. Thanks Doug!

  • Where do I start....this place is truly magical! Such a peaceful beautiful cottage. Doug was kind enough to accommodate myself plus 3 dogs who thoroughly enjoyed the local area for dog walks. It’s very remote so if you looking for somewhere totally off grid and to enjoy nature this is the place for you!! Doug also gave me to a little look inside the church which was breathtaking! • Charming cottage in a relaxing part of the world. Felt renewed after a peaceful weekend here with our two dogs. Everything we needed was provided and it was the perfect place to switch off and unwind with nice country walks on our doorstep. Would recommend if you need to escape city life!!

  • A very special place. Hillview cottage is like a little Hobbit house, made from timber, blacksmith’s iron, stone and peg tiles. It is in a magical setting, down a lonely country lane, next to an ancient church, surrounded by woods and fields. Wildlife abounds, there are lots of walks and much to see and do nearby.

  • My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and had a great time, it was exactly what we wanted - lots of great woodland walks, a cosy warm home to curl up and read in, and a feeling of being far away from city life. Would definitely like to stay again.

I have created a peaceful space in my recently refurbished 400yr old home where you can relax and get a good nights sleep. You will have the whole 1st floor to yourself as you can sleep in room 1, but unwind in the bath or watch TV on the daybed in room 2. Mini Fridge and Kettle are provided for Tea/Coffee etc. Burd (dog who's restricted to downstairs) and I will give you a friendly welcome, but will leave you to unwind in your own space upstairs.
The daybed in room 2 can sleep guests if you don't wish to share room 1, but access to the bathroom is through room 2.
Wateringbury is a beautiful and historic Village with a great vibe. There is a great Café next door, Pub/Restaurant a minutes walk over the road, post office, shops and beautiful walks in and around the village or by the river, making it a great spot to rest up in. We are only a 10minute drive to great shopping in Maidstone, and 20minutes to historic Tunbridge Wells or Tonbridge. All three have a good selection of bars and restaurants should you want to venture further than the village pubs for dinner. If its history you're after, then we are close to many historical homes such as Penshurst place and Hever Castle and if you want a good walk or bike ride then Bewl Water offers a lovely 13 mile circular route round the reservoir.
  • Excellent airbnb experience. Super room, bathroom and facilities. Easy parking nearby. Good location too.

  • Due to our work schedules I didn’t get much time to spend with Theo. Her place is stylish, clean and good value. If I was in the area again I would have no hesitation in booking again. Highly recommended.

  • We loved the cosy warmth and stylish spaces of this house, and the yellow slipper bath was fantastic! Would definitely go again.
