  • I would strongly recommend Jason’s place. The warm feeling when walking in the door . The place was immaculate, any questions I had they answered quickly. Very quiet place and to sit and hear the water out your front door was amazing . Thanks Jason 10 out of 10

  • Cute little apartment, tastefully decorated, clean, with all of the basic necessities for a short stay. The hosts are great with communication.

  • Great place to stay!!

    Punniah2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jason’s place is a hidden gem, warm and inviting. The place itself is clean and fully stocked. Big TVs, a comfy couch, and big bed. The is a smaller kitchen set up (like a hotel suite). If you need anything more substantive you just need to walk next door. Situated a few doors down (like 10 feet!) is a bakery and bistro unparalleled by any other. In the day you will be overwhelmed by homemade baking and satiated by dinner. There is often great live music, but if you are not into that you won’t hear a peep from the apartment. Mostly, the hosts are great people, into you enjoying the space and area. They are warm, talented and funny folks that are very responsive. Come to this place to hide away in the winter or as a homebase for taking in the surrounding area in the summer.

  • Sheila was a very welcoming host, including a personal welcome placed on the bedside table. Her home is lovely and comfortable. I enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend her home to anyone. Look forward to staying here again.

    Mary2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Sheila’s place was great for our stay, easy to find and a lovely room. We had a wedding at the Hockley Valley resort just 10 mins up the road and this Airbnb was a perfect alternative to an expensive hotel. We had a seamless time. No lock to the private room for when you leave- maybe there was and we just didn’t ask. Otherwise great value and post is true to its photos/details.

    Roisin2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean, Sheila was quick to respond to all of our messages and questions! Room was exactly was we needed for our overnight stay, would highly recommend!

  • We had in incredible stay at Sheila’s beautiful home. She was very flexible and accommodated our check in early and check out late. She and her family are very kind and welcoming as well. Sheila went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She encouraged us to go skiing and let us borrow her winter gear, which we really appreciated. On the last day of our stay, she made us a delicious breakfast too. We had a pleasure getting to know her, Whitney, Buddy and Lily, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for everything Sheila!

    Sarah2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Sheila has lovely home that is very cozy and welcoming. My girlfriend and I were passing through the area and thought this would be a good place to stop on a long road trip. It turned wonderfully. Thanks.

  • A very clean and private place. Sheila was very responsive and cared for us a lot. Welcoming home and Sheila allowed us to use the common spaces. She also made us chocolate, cranberry, coconut muffins which were the best muffins I have had till date.

  • Kim's place was the perfect getaway for our family. The cottage has everything you need and the bed is so comfortable! We played cards, jacks and watched Netflix in a charming and comfortable setting. Kim was communicative and the space very welcoming with water, yogurt, coffee, cookies and more. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The cottage is also situated very close to Hockley Valley for skiing in the area. I also recommend Angel's Diner for food and then hitting up Bulk Barn for late night snacks. Thanks again Kim and Family :)

    Tanya2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kim's place was absolutely incredible! We only stayed for one night, but it is by far one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at across 4 countries. She personalized the home by writing a welcome to us on the board, and even had little chocolates for us. She also had a little breakfast ready! Everything was incredibly clean and cute. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Waking up to the sounds of beauty of the stream out the front door was second to none. You’ll have a great little kitchen, full wifi and Netflix for after a beautiful hike through the trails of lovely Belfountain. I can’t wait to come back!

    Glenda2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place is stunning! Ann has a little booklet that has all the information you would need for a stay. She is also very quick to any inquiries during the stay and is very willing to make accomodations. The neighborhood is lovely and this place is step away from a great trails you can explore.

    Amy2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great weekend getaway, far enough away, but close enough to home. We loved the peacefulness of the cabin, and the hosts were fantastic! We loved the quiet winter cabin, but would definitely like to go back in nicer weather to enjoy the outdoor seating! It was so great that we could bring our dog, too! He loved the river and trails!

    Samantha2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a homely, well appointed cabin, set beside the Credit River. Inside there is electric thermostatic heating, and many useful items provided, along with antiques to recall some local history. It makes an excellent base for hiking the many woodland trails in the vicinity.

    Caroline2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing spot. So many extra amenities inside, this place is so great!

    Ben2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! Beautiful property, great hiking trails nearby, was a perfect solo winter getaway!

    Julia2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely little mini-vacation here! Close to Toronto, and yet it really felt like we got away. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. We came prepared with foods we could reheat in the kitchenette, and for one of our meals we visited a local restaurant (included in the cabin is a booklet of information with all kinds of great tips about places to visit, as well as local history). Not only are the surrounding conservation areas beautiful and great to visit, but the property itself has some really lovely trails, complete with lots of seating areas along the river and in the forest so you can just sit and enjoy. :) Winter was a beautiful season to visit, and I bet other seasons are just as lovely in totally different ways. We'll have to come back!

  • Loved the fireplace, the rocker and the quiet. Easy check in and check out.

    Daniel2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was a great communicator! Anytime we had a query, she was right back to us within minutes. She was very understanding when all of the highways were shut down and we were unable to make it for the first night of our trip. The room was very comfortable for the four of us. And, if we had remembered our bathing suits, we would have really enjoyed that hot tub. This retreat was exactly as advertised. Well done, Susan!

    Judy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place was a perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. We drove in during a snow storm and she had the fireplace going for us when we arrived. The hot tub is literally right outside of the front door, there was a thoughtful selection for breakfast items, and the overall atmosphere of the space was private and modern. I would 100% recommendthis space to my friends and family!

Private retreat with outside fun and social distancing. No need to meet, and a chance to get away while still staying socially responsible, this cabin is close to beautiful hiking, walking and bicycling trails. Suitable for couples, business travellers or lone wolves. Less than an hour from Toronto, this cabin / studio is located in the beautiful village of Belfountain, nestled in the Caledon Hills. Artsy or not, you will enjoy the creative atmosphere and spectacular surroundings. .
This one hundred year old cabin (no basement) doubles as my studio, and is located right in the village. It is a nice place to get creative, whether it be with your partner or for work, and the surroundings are spectacular throughout the year.. It is equipped with a kitchenette and shower, and the garden offers a private space in which to dine or just relax. The steep stairs lead to a loft with a super comfortable king sized bed. I supply the Netflix, you supply the chill :)
The Neighbourhood Belfountain. It's small, but it has quality content. At the three corners you will find two 'coffee shops'. They are open early and have fancy choices and yummy treats. There are a couple of other shops, and ice cream's abound (in the summer). Also check out the Belfountain Inn (around the corner) for fine dining that you can walk back from. The provincial park is spectacular (with a waterfall, a 1900's party cave and suspension bridge) and well worth the small fee they charge to get in. It has trails that loop but also trails that meet up with the Bruce trail. If you want to access the Bruce trail without going into the park, turn onto Caledon Mountain road just south of Belfountain, before the cemetery, go to the end of the road and park by the fence. You will see signs and blazes that will lead you to the edge of the Niagara escarpment, a beautiful view and a fantastic hike. South of Belfountain, east along Old Base Line you will find the famous 'badlands', a cool photo opportunity. (unfortunately they got too famous, so you are no longer allowed to walk on them) and just south of there (on Boston Mill rd) is the Spirit Tree Estate Cidery which is a nice place for lunch and a good place to get different kinds of yummy treats. The Caledon rail trail is a fantastic bike (and cross country ski) trail that can be accessed from any of the roads it crosses around here. The closest is up Shaws Creek Road (the next rd west of here) north about a km. Erin is the closest town with a grocery store, Timmy's, LCBO and Beer store. It is 6 km away. Turn left at the stop sign and follow Bush street all the way to the end where it bends into Erin. There are also some beautiful stores there for other kinds of shopping, a legendary bakery, a chocolate shop and a bistro at the end of the main st. Alton is a funky town you might like to check out. (ten mins north of here on 136) It has the Alton Mill which is full of artist run galleries and one of the best restaurants around, called Ray's Third Generation. If you like Japanese food, Inaka in Caledon is excellent. They have sit in and take out. Orangeville is a twenty minute drive north of here and it has more than it's fair share of excellent restaurants. The Bluebird is one of the most famous for it's excellent food and reasonable prices. If you like steak, check out Steak 63. Forage is about seasonal entrees , Rustik is modern dining with local ingredients, The Barley Vine Rail is a 'Canadian eatery with music and craft beer' and the list goes on. For breakfast check out Judy's In Erin :) Reservations for all the restaurants are highly recommended. If you are leaving here on a Summer Sunday and you are looking for something cool to do, check out the Aberfoyle Antique Market. It's a 45 minute drive through the country and well worth the destination if you like antique and 'fun-stuff' shopping. When you are ready to head home from there you will be two minutes from the 401. Have fun :)

It makes the the perfect location to embark upon outdoor adventures of all kinds. Cycling, hiking, running, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and even snowmobiling are all allowed uses of the trail. If you are really quiet you might even spy a great blue heron hunting in the stream.
The Village of Hillsburgh is located in the Town of Erin and has a rich heritage dating back to the 1800's. Once connected to Toronto by the Credit Valley Railway, such companies as Gooderham & Worts helped build a thriving agricultural economy around the mill ponds that now are home to diverse fauna and wildlife. Take the Hillsburgh Heritage Walking Trail and you will be delighted by the beautiful Victorian era architecture and natural features of the village. Around the township you will find many small communities, each with their own story and unique sights to see. Conservation Areas like the Forks of the Credit and Belwood are a short drive or nice bike ride away. The arts are alive and well in the area as well. The Century Church Theatre has approximately 6 productions a year. 2017 will see the 29th edition of The Hills of Erin Studio Tour featuring some 19 artists at 10 studios in the area. In short, there is something for just about everybody right here in our back yard!

  • Rose is wonderfully easy to reach and communicate with. Check-in was effortless and she made sure the outside lights were on for our arrival as we were going to be late. The apartment is spotless and well furnished. It was so nice to have a place to rest after such a long day, and the bedroom was really comfortable. Rose has taken immense care to provide all basic amenities you could require, better than a hotel, and has added many extra little touches to make your stay welcoming and relaxing. It is easy to see why she is a Superhost, and how she takes great pride in hosting you.

  • I had such a lovely weekend stay with my pup at Kelly’s home. She is so lovely and accommodating. Beautiful home.

    Margaret2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly’s place has tons of character and beautiful antique pieces to look at. The pool was lovely although it was chilly so we wanted to use the hot tub but it unfortunately didn’t make it up to a hot enough temperature. That’s ok because we weren’t expecting a hot tub anyways. The property and outdoor space are definitely a highlight for me. A great little getaway spot but just make sure you are prepared to potentially be sharing common spaces with other guests.

    Kylie2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house and room was wonderfully clean and very comfortable. This is a beautiful property. Easy check in and Kelly was very nice to meet and made our stay perfect.

    Lisa2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly's house is stunning! Our stay was perfect! From fast communication to providing absolute comfort,...Kelly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. The room was comfortable, the kitchen is beautiful and has everything you need to make a delicious meal. On top of the swimming pool, the backyard had a big Jacuzzi which made our stay very relaxing. 45mns from the place, you can do "goat yoga" and visit beautiful farms which is great to experience and is a fun activity to add to your stay. In on word, everything was "lovely"! Thanks again, Kelly!

  • Easy access. Very relaxing place. Kelly is very kind host. I wish I could stay more. I felt right home. Excellent communication. The place is simply colourful. Natural flowers everywhere. Is a must go back. I still remember the good smell of the washroom. That fresh smell that is hard to find anywhere. We knew she was always prompt for any need or emergency. Thank you Kelly

  • My stay at the Mulberry was outstanding!!!! Kelly responded to my email within 1hr of signing up for 1 month stay at her place. When I arrived Kelly gave me a very warm and friendly welcome plus a tour of her gorgeous estate which made me feel instantly at home. She accommodate myself and the other guest staying there with any request we had. Kelly's place is stunning, elegant , original and most of all very clean!!!! If you love cooking like I do then you will instantly fall in love with her kitchen!!! She has everything you could possibly need to make yourself a gourmet meal. Kelly booked me a 1 hr message and also provided me with her chiropractor services while I was there which were top shelf. I can't say enough good things about my stay there and I highly recommend you book yourself in if she has not already sold out her rooms. Love you Kelly and thxs again for everything!!!!!

  • The Yellow House was amazing. We stayed for two nights and wish we stayed more. The house was very clean. The location is amazing. Very close to downtown and everything you'll need, like resturaunts and grocery stores. We loved the character of the home, the layout and also the big floor boards, the rustic kitchen and how the living room/dining room was the heart of the home. The owners could of renovated the home to be modern but we are so glad they didn't. The house has a warm homey feeling. The beds were very comfortable and so were the couches. Loved the fence in back yard. Loved having cable. Loved the huge scrabble game. We didn't use it, we brought our own board game but we thought it was awesome. We loved the house so much we wanted to pick it up and take it with us. The price is amazing for what you get and george the owner was quick to respond to texts and messages. We know we must of missed something else we loved but we highly recommend this airbnb and would gladly come back again.

This cozy cabin in the woods is the perfect couples weekend retreat. Set on 15 acres the cabin is your personal oasis to relax and unwind in nature. Only minutes from Orangeville, Hockley Valley and less than one hour from downtown Toronto this private cabin is the perfect setting for a weekend getaway . The cabin is rustic and doesn't have running water so access to the Victorian house with a shared kitchen and washroom facilities is welcome. We open the calendar up for only 6 months.
Welcome to #cabinonthe9. The main room that measures 13 ' by 10.5' and includes a wood burning stove in the back left corner. The space has a medium grey futon that converts into a double size bed for sleeping if going up the ladder to the second floor is not possible. The back room offers a second entrance, kitchenette and bathroom that has a "Airhead" compost toilet., designed for #1's only, a short walk to the main house for full washroom and showering facilities. A ladder provides vertical access from the main floor to second floor, where the sleeping area has natural light and a "A" frame roof line. There is a queen size orthopaedic foam mattress here.
There are many great restaurants and attractions is the Mono area. Mono Cliffs Inn restaurant and Peter Seller's pub offer an authentic and fun dining experience in the rural Inn located only 15 minutes away. Ray's 3rd Generation is the best local spot for dinner [Alton]. Pia's on Broadway for lunch along with Soulyve where there is amazing and authentic Jamaican food. Hockley Valley Reserve and Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, along with the Bruce Trail are only minutes away and provide a great backdrop for hiking and other outdoor activities. There is a spa and ski hills located at Hockley Valley, as well as a winery called Adamo nearby. The area of Belfountain is also a great spot to walk through the park and grab an ice cream in town.
  • I love this cabin, it’s built and cared with so much love. It’s surroundings are so beautiful and piece full and so well located at only one hour from Toronto. Loreto and Ingrid are amazing loving people and they made us feel like family at all times. Can’t wait to go back to experience it again!

  • We had a great stay at Cabinonthe9 it was just as we expected. We were so cosy in this rustic little cabin with a fire always on in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and nature. We also appreciated having use of the areas in the bigger house for cooking and complimentary tea, coffee and snacks. Thanks again, we loved our stay!

  • It’s such a unique and beautiful place. Very cozy and peaceful as well. The host went above and beyond in providing the service. We loved it so much that we want to visit again in the summer.

  • If you want to get grounded and break away from the daily hustle and bustle this is the place to do it. One of the coziest environments I’ve ever experienced. The location and communication with the hosts was top shelf and the neighbouring downtown is fantastic to visit. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us! • We had a great time at the cabin, it’s the perfect place to disconnect. The place is very special with the firewood stove and the pond. We really enjoyed the experience. We will definitely come back in the summer :)

  • Super cool spot! Keep that fire going in the winter as much as possible. Got great photos. Very peaceful and quiet. Bill and his team were very very helpful and kind, made sure we were warm and taken care of well, lots of breakfast options available. Very private, but also has the option of going into the house and using wifi/plumbing! Unrelated - Do NOT eat at Cabin close by, horrible restaurant.
