The cabin in Åsen

Small cottage with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here there is a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice ride, a bit heavy for some lots. Recommend to go up before dark. Remember good shoes and warm clothes. On top of that, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, using a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

Lovely cottage from the 50s with fine vintage furniture inspired by the same decade. Is the last cottage on the way out on a promontory in Vittsjö lake area so here you have the peace and quiet, but is still only a walk from shops and trains. The forest on the doorstep and lovely hiking areas. Good fishing just meters from the front door. Here you wake up with a view of a beautiful lake! Enjoy the starry skies and the hollering of the owls at night.
