Christophe's place is just as the pictures show - right o the banks of the Lot River, and we dined outside on some of the table and chair settings he provides. There are so many things to see in the area within 2 - 6 hours drive; and we appreciated Christophe's hospitality and suggestions.

Stay! We were able to enjoy the garden to watch the shooting stars and for a nice barbecue. And again thank you for the delicious homemade pie.!

This house is just beatiful! You stay in a seperatet half of the house. Its big enough for at least 4 persons. everything looks new and is very clean. The best part for us was the huge garden and the possibillity the jump in the river just from the gangplank at christophs garden. You can have a barbecue outside and enjoy the peace and quite! Christophe is the best host you can imagine. He helped us with everything but, gave us a lift couple of times when we asked for it. Otherwhise he left us alone in a positive way. :) In clairac there is a big supermarket, some cafes and restaurants. a very nice beach at the river and you can hire bikes very cheap! If you dont have a car you can get to the house from bordeaux-airport by train and bus pretty easy. After all it was just as we holped it would be and we would come any time again! Amazing! Highly recommended! The house is outstanding, spacious, immaculately clean and stylishly modern with everything you need to self-cater. There is a balcony from the master bedroom where you can sit and watch the sun set on the river whilst sipping a glass of wine. Christophe is the most superb host, he gave us information about the region and nothing was too much trouble, we were also honoured and delighted to be invited to a barbeque in the large garden on the bank of the Garonne river. Christopher is a host at the top! It really done everything to ease our arrival. The house was extremely clean, sheets and towels at our disposal. The house is spacious with a huge garden that overlooks the Lot. We were able to enjoy a barbecue, swimming in the Lot and meals in the garden, in short we felt like home. Chantal is a very welcoming host. We were 3 families and stayed in his house for a week. The configuration is well suited (3 bathrooms + WC) The children were delighted to sleep in the same room and the garden (pool and animals) they had more. Parents ribs everybody was happy too.

I spent two nights at Steph for a business trip. Its housing and easy to access and well located for anyone loving the quiet countryside. I found my stay pleasant and relaxing after a day's work. It all made so that all goes well in was full of attention and listening. The only drawback might be that is the telephone network which is very small so if you go on business travel and the telephone and your main working tool that is can not be the right place. For all other did not hesitate! It is a place and a person that is worth trying. Of those still steph thank you and good living to future travelers.

Stephane made us very warmly, s was very concerned about our comfort. Her house is very nice, comfortable, in the countryside, quiet. We highly recommend a stop at Stephen. easily accessible accommodation from the Lot road bike.

Carole & David are a very welcoming couple (English /French bilingual). The place was perfect : quiet & as described (it's situated just where it starts to become countryside on the edge of Tonneins - the small town). A nice deck where you could have breakfast ( though we didn't given it was winter!) Un couple très accueillant. La situation était parfaite pour nous qui cherchait de la tranquilité. La maison était conforme à la description. Elle se trouve pas loin de la ville de Tonneins à la campagne. Un séjour agréable.

We had never heard of Tonneins, but there live Carole and David. They are extremely hospitable, and no question, it is too. A nice place and spacious apartment. Because it was cool, we lit the wood stove. And we had warm conversations in which children Eva and Sienna added their joyful notes.

Anthony and Vanessa's apartment is so convenient. It is only about 300 metres to the main train station of Tonneins. Vanessa left everything in her apartment for me to use: wonderful coffee making machine; and even an iron to iron my crushed clothes. The laundromat (laverie) was only about 700 metres away from the apartment in the next street parallel with Vanessa's apartment, so life was so easy staying there. Vanessa even picked me up from the train station, so that she could show me where everything was in her apartment. She was so helpful and kind. If ever I return to Tonneins, I would certainly stay there again.

If you are shopping and want an alternative to hotels, to be quiet and be "at home", this address is for you! Anthony and his girlfriend are very welcoming and there is everything you need in the studio. I recommend this address!

Zeer welkom op deze kleine appartement (met de nogal vrouwelijk design). Het enige probleem (die waarschijnlijk tijdelijk was), de verstopte badkuip. Indien niet beschikbaar, en zelfs meer dan ik had verwacht. En de nabijheid van het station (niet drie) is een luxe voor treinreizigers. Hoe dan ook kunt u parkeren in de voorkant van het gebouw zonder problemen voor anderen.

Nous avons pu profiter d'une soirée conviviale dans le patio et les enfants ont apprécié se rafraîchir dans la piscine. La maison se situant face au Lot vous pourrez vous balader au bord de celui ci. Bon rapport qualité prix avec un copieux petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix des chambres. Nous vous recommandons cet endroit et ces hôtes fort sympathiques.

Our stay at La Bique was great! The house itself was perfect for our family of 12 (8 adults, 3 kids, 1 baby) with really interesting architecture, privacy, and good quality finish. It has to be one of the best stocked accommodations we've stayed in with everything we needed at our fingertips. The information folder is comprehensive and helped us fully enjoy ourselves and the surrounding area to the point of wanting to stay longer to see more. Clairac, with the plage, was a great 'local' for us and surprised us with its historic value. Bike rides and rambles along the river were particularly memorable. And with the pool and games facilities, every age found their groove and had a top week.

Gisele and Aimé welcomed us very warmly, (long ago we had gone there for days qq), and they remembered us. A little refreshment, a basket of tomatoes, raspberries, beans, a real garden waiting for us. The atmosphere once known n had not changed, the spirit family home what, here we are at home. The Caussinat inspires rest and relaxation. The area is very green and soothing. We are happy with our stay, delighted to be back and Aimé Giséle a like old friends. We will definitely return. John was reactive in our exchanges and very welcoming once you arrive. The cottage was perfect for our trip, very well appointed, and very charming. It is a quiet and relaxing place, where we could enjoy nature and swimming-pool.

As the description says this rustic house is situated along the Lot river on a expansive plot well manicured with fruit trees, shrubs, and flowers. Unit is well equipped with all the essentials for our two week stay. If something was needed it appeared almost instantaneously. The living area is compact but cozy. Great for two guests and works well for four except there is no toilet or bath facilities serving the upper level bedroom. The hosts, John and Chrissy, are delightful and it was a pleasure visiting with them especially since we were all English speakers.

John and Chrissie are very caring and very discreet. The cottage "fishermen" are absolutely lovely, a barrier protects access to the stairs from one room to the perfect floor for children. The view of the lot and incredibly comfortable bed in the master bedroom give you really want to stay longer. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het huisje Fishers die naast die van de tabak die wij zien de foto's op de website. Ons verblijf was zeer ontspannen en exotische, past perfect bij onze verwachtingen. We hebben genoten van het zwembad (verwarmd, met uitzicht op de Lot) in een prachtige omgeving. De maaltijden kunnen worden genomen op het ponton, zien we de in de avondzon. De kamers en badkamers zijn ruim en mooi. John en Chrissie serveren een stevig ontbijt en zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij.
