  • We spent several weeks at Robert’s home and it was a great stay. Check in was simple with the key box right outside. Robert was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The living room is comfy with a large sofa and lots of tv options to watch at night. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and Robert provided us with several cereal options and milk. There is a separate laundry area with iron and counter space to fold. The bedroom is slightly smaller but very comfortable with a catch all table and a large wardrobe for your clothes. The bathroom was very clean and had a large tub/shower which was nice. The location is so close to lots of restaurants and several grocery stores. We used public transport the entire time we were there and found it very easy and efficient. We really enjoyed our time in Belfast and would definitely stay at Robert’s again!

  • Had a lovely night staying here with my girlfriend. Gorgeous little studio house, with stunning sea views, perfect for a couple's getaway. The house was very on-trend with its furnishing; light and airy, lots of plants, and nice finishing touches like books and coffee! Marty and Chris have put together a great guest book with tips for the house and ideas for places to visit nearby, which was really helpful. Overall, a fantastic stay here as we started our drive up the Coastal Causeway in Northern Ireland. We wished we could have stayed longer!!

  • Beautifully situated little place, with all the amenities we needed for our one night stay. My wife and I were celebrating our second anniversary, and my wife loved the location, the views were beautiful. Marty & Chris were great hosts and provided instant responses and were super helpful. One thing, if you’re a very light sleeper be conscious that you may hear the passing traffic.

Loved the large windows, and very much appreciated the great bottle of red wine and tasty cookies that were left for our arrival. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely little town with a quaint town square that has a lot of historic buildings that date right back. We are also not far from Strangford Lough and Rough Island otherwise known as Island Hill (about 1.5 miles by car). Our house is within the Comber limits but is nestled in farm land with views over rolling hills towards Scrabo Tower to the back and a large Garden to the front and side. Comber was the home town of Thomas Andrews who designed the Titanic and their home is still standing today. is family had been prominent in Comber for generations, establishing various commercial enterprises in the town including a linen mill. Thomas's parents were Thomas Andrews Snr and Eliza Pirrie, who was the sister of Lord Pirrie, the future chairman of the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. His eldest brother, John Miller Andrews, went on to become Prime Minister of Northern Ireland while his younger brother, James, became Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland. When Thomas inspected the damage to the ship that fateful night he advised captain Philips that the ship was doomed. In the sure knowledge that the fate of Titanic had been sealed, his actions were said by many survivors to be nothing short of heroic. He spent the final moments of his life encouraging passengers to get to the lifeboats. The following cablegram, dispatched by the White Star Line from its New York office, described what he did: "After accident, Andrews ascertained damage, advised passengers put heavy clothing, prepare leave vessel. Many sceptical about seriousness damage, but impressed by Andrews' knowledge, personality, followed his advice, saved their lives. He assisted many women, children to lifeboats. When last seen, officers say was throwing overboard deck chairs, other objects, to people in water. His chief concern safety of everyone but himself." In Comber, the life of Thomas Andrews Junior is commemorated by the Memorial Hall, built by public subscription and opened in 1915. Andrews' body was never recovered from the Atlantic, but he is remembered on the family grave with the words: "Pure, just, generous, affectionate and heroic. He gave his life that others might be saved. Hopefully you may consider coming to stay in our home which is described by many as a Retreat or Haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Cosy, bright, private bedroom with a single bed, computer desk, wardrobe, kettle and tea in the room on the top floor (2nd) of a three storey terraced house in east Belfast. Shared bathroom with jacuzzi bath and waterfall shower. Breakfast bar and fruit will be provided. Close to George Best airport, Titanic Quarter, SSE Arena, Belfast city centre and Victoria Park. Cafes, restaurants, takeaways and shops are a short walk away. Good public transport close by with links across the Province.
The room is on the second floor of my east Belfast mid-terrace house. The room is bright and cosy. There is a daybed to relax on and read. Relax in the jacuzzi bath or have a shower with a waterfall-effect shower head. Then wrap up in towels warmed on the heated towel rail. There are bus routes and a railway station nearby and the area is serviced by numerous taxi companies. There is a good choice of cafes, restaurants and takeaways on Belmont Road. There are Co-op and a bakery close by.
The area is mainly residential, with a few commercial premises nearby. On the whole a quieter road, especially over night. It is a bus route so you may hear a double decker pass by during the day. It is possible you could awake to bird song. I am amazed by the number of different birds in the area. I love there are many parks and open spaces to visit. Victoria Park is the closest park and has a Park Run on Saturday at 09:30 if you pack your trainers (or you can do a Park Walk). Belmont Road caters to many tastes with cafes, restaurants and takeaways along it. There are some charity shops, a couple of art galleries. The Strand Arts Centre is a short walk away.

  • Ciara was very helpful especially when it came to the fact that we were bringing our 10 week old puppy, she provided a stair gate and even a crate for the puppy. On top of all of this she gave me some great tips to help with caring for him which I found very reliable considering she had her own dog there aswell (Her dog is so sweet). Overall great stay and the price was a bargain!

  • Everything and more. Open a cupboard and it’s filled with everything essential. American fridge freezer with ice as u need it. Bed linen was spotless as was the rest of the home. Plenty of towels fior our use. We love the fact that there is a tumble dryer if necessary . Nothing has been left out, every small detail is catered for. Thoroughly enjoy staying here. This is our second time

    Jude2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Mervyn was an excellent host. He welcomed us into his house like we were family and gave us a good tour of the house. He showed us where all the local amenities were and also planned a few day trips we could do on our stay there. His place was excellent with an amazing garden and bbq that came useful with the sunny weather we had. His garden gets the sun all day so if you enjoy sitting outside you will enjoy his place. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again in the future. Thanks for all your help Mervyn.

Comber is a small dormitory town on the outskirts of Belfast but also uniquely placed at the head of Strangford Lough. It is busy during the day and evenings but quiet and relaxed at night.
  • David's place is great for anyone staying in Comber for a few days. It's location is perfect, and the fact you can roll out of bed, cross the courtyard into The Goose for breakfast is great. Would recommend to anyone.

  • This is a haven of comfort. Handy for scrumptious cafe and farm deli, and spacious and toasty warm. Excellent water pressure and heating. Friendly touches made my stay very comfortable, easy parking outside. I wasn’t a fan of the memory foam bed, but slept warm and ok none the less. David was excellent at communication throughout, and made great eating out recommendations, although the kitchen was fully equipped and pretty well stocked, too. I would stay again, if in the area. Thanks David.

Welcome to the Annex at Coach Road Cottages a 4 star rated self catering apartment. It is a gateway to the Ards Peninsula, the Strangford Lough area and the Mourne Mountains, yet only 20 minutes from Belfast City Centre. My place is close to outdoor activities, culture, history, nature, the city, and the countryside. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the comfy bed, and the light. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets).
The Annex is a clean and modern space with a lovely wood burning stove, bright living room and bedroom, and fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. We provide all the bedlinen and towels required for your stay. For days out, Castle Espie Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre is a great destination to see the diverse bird life of Strangford Lough. Further afield the Crown Bar in Belfast, the Mourne Mountains and the Giant’s Causeway are other examples of other trust-managed properties. For the more adventurous, why not hire a canoe and join one of a multitude of routes around Strangford Lough with over 800 islands to explore, or how about taking to the sky and being given a tour of the surrounding countryside in a light aircraft chartered from the Newtownards Airport.
  • Great place and very comfortable. Really enjoyed staying! Very peaceful location.

  • Ivan’s place was perfect for us. Close to the centre of Comber, which was perfect for our family reunion. It was spotlessly clean, very spacious and here were many little extra (fresh flowers in every room, welcome pack of local produce etc). We will definitely stay again when we visit Comber. Thanks Ivan!

    Jane2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • The annex is located within a stable yard. Parking is outside of the entrance and access to fields for walks with views over the countryside and to the sea are exceptional. Belfast and Newtonards are only 15 to 20 minutes away giving quick and easy access to them both as well as the coast. Ivan was a great host greeting us on arrival and ensuring that everything was as expected. Small touches such as flowers on tables, dog treats and a welcome bag made feel all the more welcome.

    Keith2018-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Almost perfect. Ivan could not have been more helpful and accommodating property was very stylishly d and adjoining Field was enjoyed by our dog. Located only a few miles outside of the city but in lovely countryside and centrally located for all that County Down has to offer. Only issue was the WiFi which Ivan tried to rectify as soon as informed.

    Gary2017-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is really lovely and stylish, and an excellent base for visiting locally or heading in to town to explore Belfast. I found the cottage very well equipped and comfortable and Ivan a friendly and flexible host.

  • Clean, comfortable, well appointed accomodation.Host friendly and helpful.car needed but easy access to local places of interest, town with local amenities and approx 15 mins to city .A lovey place to relax at the end of the day, enjoyed our stay.

  • I hesitate to say it, because I'm sure people will think i'm exaggerating, but the cottage was perfect! The communication and check in with Ivan was a total breeze, I didn't know exactly what time I was going to arrive, due to other commitments in the day, Ivan was very flexible in working with me to make my check in seamless. The cottage has everything you need to have a home away from home. It's situated out towards Comber, which was perfect for me as I was in Norn Iron to visit friends in Dundonald which is less than a ten minute drive away. the only thing I would say is you really need to have a car, which I did, and that makes coming and going so much easier. I loved my time in the cottage and would definitely look Ivan up and see if its available on my next visit!

  • 4 Students were looking for accommodation close to our training centre- The host was more than accommodating and flexible and even ensured we had fresh linen as we had a change of plans. Really comfortable- access to the public transport system minutes away- and a glimpse of the sea from the hilltop- an additional treat! Can recommend a stay here.

This cosy two bedroom house has free off street parking and free WiFi. The property is conveniently located to the George Best city airport. The Glider bus stop is a 10 minute walk along the river, it is excellent for quick and fuss free journey to the city centre. The Titanic Exhibition centre and SSE are also conveniently located; approximately 1 mile from the property.
My little house is warm, clean and snug. Ideally situated and easy to find when you arrive in Belfast. Very convenient to the city airport and the Titanic Exhibition centre. Free WiFi
The area is quiet and safe.

  • Very true to the description. Nelius is very detailed and left us enough things to eat, which came great for us upon arrival. The house is in a quiet residential area, not very close to the center, but by bus you arrive in 20 min. If you have any questions, you answered us quite quickly. The beds are very comfortable and the floor was clean. We definitely recommend it.

Vintage 4 berth Caravan - set in private garden in 2 acres of woodland with views of Strangford Loch. This is camping! There’s no shower or flushing toilet but there is electricity, heating and water, gas cooking, barbecue etc.
This caravan is parked in 2 acres of private garden for you to explore. Close, but not too close to the house. It’s 2 mins by car from Newtownards town and 15 mins to the sea or Bangor. Less than that gets you to Strangford Lough and 20 mins into Belfast

One bedroom apartment in rural location fifteen minute walk from Stormont Estate in Belfast. Suitable for travel base around greater Belfast, the Ards Penninsula and beyond.
Perfect for couple or single traveller/business guest
The apartment benefits from a quiet rural location close but completely separate from the owner’s home. Close to bus route though there is a private parking space.
  • Tara was a great host, we booked last minute after other accommodation fell through. She let us check in early and offered late check out as no guests were checking in that day. Tara messaged throughout our stay to ensure everything was ok however also gave us total privacy in the apartment. Can highly recommend this accommodation, very warm and cozy.

  • This is the 2nd time we have stayed. It is perfect for a couple who wants to be near Belfast but also close to countryside. It is clean. The host Tara is helpful and responds quickly. There is no WiFi but sometimes it’s good to have time away from emails and the internet.

  • I stayed at William's place for 6 weeks while I completed the university-based block of my degree. The place itself was lovely, kept very clean, and William was always reachable and excellent at responding to anything I needed during my stay. There is a handy Co-Op nearby and Connswater is also a short walk away. A bus stop with regular direct links to the city centre is within a minute's walk from the flat. I would highly recommend staying with William and I will be keeping him in mind for any future stays in Belfast.

  • Kallam and his Da Martin were wonderful hosts. I appreciated Kallam’s quick responses when we had any questions or issues. We were having trouble with the WiFi and they continued to work thru the issues until we were sorted. They accommodated our need for an extra night, and even brought us milk for our tea when we asked if we could have some from them to avoid going into town. The hot water was plentiful and the bath was amazing!! We will stay there again!

  • A true cottage experience, this airbnb keeps the essence of the 150 year old cottage that it is while also feeling very modern with all the amenities and modern touches, a fantastic blend that we absolutely loved. The area is great and a perfect distance from Belfast, while also having some local sites to go explore, and the hospitality was second to none. Exactly as advertised, a fantastic stay.

  • If you’re in Belfast, stay with Mark! Such a lovely, friendly host. The room was sparkling clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing, and there were little touches - like a kettle in the room with coffee and tea- that were so thoughtful. A+++, hope to stay again one day!
