Steps away from Eau Claire and Princess Island Park, your stay here offers all of the conveniences of being in the heart of the action and then being able to kick back and enjoy some Netflix on the Brand new 70inch TV. There is a very nice gym in the building along with steam rooms and a hot tub.
The unit is on the fourth floor of a 4 story building so no one to bother you from above and there is only one neighbor to the side. Peace and tranquility is all yours!
The location cannot be beat! Joey Eau Claire and the Barley Mill pub are steps away along with other great bars and restaurants.

  • Absolutely gorgeous place in an amazing location. Close to everything and the underground parking was a bonus. Within walking distance of so many places downtown and cheap uber rides. Paul answered any questions and concerns within 5 minutes. Having condiments and cooking oils already in the fridge was great. The building staff and amenities (gym) made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying here and will return next time we visit Calgary. Thanks!

  • Had a lovely stay at Paul’s condo. Check in was seamless and Paul was quick to respond to my questions. The condo itself was very clean, had everything that you need and is a perfect space for 1-2 people. The location is ideal - was able to walk downtown in 5-15 minutes (depends where you want to go.) There is a wine store right on the corner and it’s a friendly and safe neighbourhood. As my stay was in February, I didn’t have the opportunity of using the balcony but would be even better during the summer, and with the river right beside you I would bet it would be stunning. All in all a five star experience. Thank you Paul!

  • This condo is exactly what it appears to be ! The 2 bedroom 2 bath has a great layout to fit multiple people comfortably. The patio is beautiful but sadly we didn’t get to use it during our stay due to the weather . The check in and parking instructions were very easy to follow . This location is perfect if you want to enjoy downtown Calgary or if you are in town for work. The host was very quick to respond and would checked in to ensure that everything was going well ! I was in Calgary for work and had some meetings extended and I had only booked the condo for 2 nights . I reached out to the host and asked if I could extend my stay and she immediately responded and was able to extend my stay an extra night with no issues or concerns . It was amazing to have such great hospitality! I would defiantly recommend this condo to anyone and I myself hope to stay there again in the near future !

  • This place has an amazing view, clearly you can see that in the pictures but it was more awesome in person. It is right downtown, 5 minute walk to most of the bars in downtown. Convenience store right below the apartment building. Great authentic food from all around the world within walking distance. Any museums or fun places you'd like to visit are either within walking distance or a $10 CAD Uber ride.

  • One of the most aesthetic pleasing places I’ve ever stayed in. Incredibly clean and tidy. Incredible views - you can see the Calgary Tower, Saddledome, Bow River and the rest of Downtown Calgary. Perfect location. Just above a convenience store and little restaurants if you don’t feel like going out for dinner, Tim Hortons just around the corner for your morning brekkie and the City Hall train stop right there for perfect convenience. Hannah and Beau are a excellent communicators and check in was super easy. One of my favourite air bnb stays ever (I’ve stayed in a heap) will definitely book again when I come back to Calgary

    My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Located in the new East Village. This building is Brand New, and across the street from the Studio Bell Music Centre, 2 blocks from the Saddle dome, and 1 block from the c-train station.
    This never lived in suite offers the best walking , biking, and access to both the city core and stampede grounds.
    East Village is an award winning master designed community in downtown Calgary. We are just a short walk to the river pathway system, and 1 block from our city hall and free transit ( in the core only). We have recently had a small shopping market added across the street from our New building which also offers free entertainment on Thursday,Friday and Saturday.
  • The apartment is very well located, with many kitchen utensils, stove, oven and washing machines and dishwashers. But what most calls attention in the apartment is the spectacular view! Lisa was attentive and offered us an option for late check in. A good surprise was the amenities in the bathroom. We left very happy!

    Newly built penthouse apartment with a view of downtown. Whether you are on a vacation, a work trip, or on the look for a home away from home, this never before lived in suite is fitting.
    This suite is an entirely private living space, equipped with brand new kitchen appliances, in suite washer and dryer, and marble tiled floor. As well as a cozy carpeted bedroom with a queen size bed and personal bathroom with heated floors. The smart TV gives you access to Netflix and Youtube during your stay, though there is no cable.
    Downtown apartment building along the Bow River and on the corner of Chinatown.
  • The location was excellent, right next to the river, park and downtown. We could walk right out of the front door and have access to walking trails, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the views of the city from the large windows were spectacular. We were particularly happy with the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Unfortunately there is only paid street parking available, but there were plenty of affordable options available, and we didn't struggle to find a spot (in summer, this might be more difficult). Faith was easy to communicate with and very accommodating- letting us check in earlier than planned. We would absolutely stay here again.

Despite its central location in a popular area, it was also amazingly quiet and I slept like a log the night I was there. Unfortunately, I had to cut my trip short due to the emergence of COVID-19, but I would absolutely book this place again on my next trip north!

You have a nice view over the river and can take a good walk along the river to a nearby hill with excellent views over the city. Good connection to the airport as well.     This space has it all. Incredibly comfortable king bed, all the kitchenware necessary and upgraded appliances to enjoy. Elevator in building and underground secure parking.
    First street is full of great restaurant, pubs and cocktail bars. Walking distance to Stephens avenue, the Calgary Tower and Stampede grounds. Quiet high rise with all the amenities nearby. 4th street district, 17th avenue, all surround here. Hockey games and concerts are a walk away. Train stop is 6 minute walk. Truly couldn't find a better location. Starbucks, Second cup, Belgian Bakery all within a block. 3 massive gyms within a 3 minute or 10 minute walk. Yoga studio a block away.

    My condo is situated on the 12th floor with a beautiful view of East Village. Everything you need is within walking distance. Restaurants, pubs, bars, coffee shops, cycling paths, Studio Bell, Saddledome, Stampede Grounds, Arts Common, Fort Calgary, St. Patrick's Island, and only a 2 minute walk to City Hall Train-station.
    My home does not accommodate large groups, events or parties. Accommodates 2 adults comfortably and negotiable for extra adults and children.
    What I love about the East Village is that we are so central to all the other cool neighbourhoods with interesting restaurants and bars. I especially love Inglewood which is two blocks east on 9th Ave. Inglewood offers the best restaurants, bars, live music, clothing stores, coffee shops and awesome grocery store called Bite. There is a free amazing Art Gallery above Bite Grocerteria in Inglewood that exhibits Canadian artists. The River Walk along the Bow river gives access to bike paths with trails to all corners of the city. There is so much to offer it's hard to describe it all!

  • Eric’s Place is about a 5 minute walk in to town or a 2 minute walk to the free city hall station which will take you straight to the shops. Also super close to the Flames stadium which was convenient for us! The space itself is cozy and being a couple it was great to have the additional room to store our luggage during our stay. They had Netflix, fox and Disney plus which was nice during the -12 weather and there’s also washing facilities which was handy after travelling for 2 weeks. Would come again!

Parking in the area can be difficult and quite expensive; my solution was to park my car at Heritage C-Train station (which is free and monitored) and take the train in. If you're the kind of person who needs perfect darkness and silence I would recommend an eye mask or ear plugs; since it's location is so great there is considerable street noise and bright at night.

  • Eric was great, I originally had trouble getting in is as I hadn’t downloaded the link he sent me and I didn’t have internet connection when I arrived, however after a phone call he managed to get me sorted into the apartment. So I would recommend reading the instructions before arriving unlike myself who leaves everything till last minute. The rest of my stay was great. Excellent flat and great view! Only thing would be is that on air b n b it says free parking however that is only between the hours of 6pm and 9am so it’s meant we had to pay for parking on one of the days. Matt and his co-hosts were really quick to respond, had well laid out checkin and checkout instructions. They made it a very frictionless experience. While I didn't spend lots of time in the apartment, I was here for work, I did get to spend lots of time in the neighbourhood and really appreciated the proximity to great cafes, coffee shops, and accessibility to the riverfront walkways. It's only a 10-15 min walk from downtown too! If ever I am in the neighbourhood again for work, I'm staying here!

    My place is close to the city center, art and culture, great views, and restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the top floor (penthouse) views, outdoors space, the neighborhood, the light, the comfy bed, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
  • This is our 2nd stay at Matthew’s loft apartment. Always very clean and comfortable. Location is convenient and room is very stylish. We will definitely stay again when we come to Calgary.

    My penthouse is meticulously cleaned using only eco-friendly cleaning products so anyone with sensitivities will be very comfortable here. The fibre optics internet is the fastest available at 150 mb per second. Streaming Netflix is a dream!   • I have stayed at many Airbnb, and this was by far the best! Location and views were absolutely PERFECT! Apartment was super cosy and made my partner and I feel at home. The hospitality of our hosts Liz & Lindsey was out of this world. Super accommodating and went well above and beyond for us. My next visit to Calgary I will 110% be booking this same apartment. 11/10 - would recommend!
