Beachfront Holiday Escape 30 min to Wgtn CBD

Large private getaway within a family home. Guests enjoy a private entrance from driveway; a large private lounge which also has a double bed, a private double bedroom with queen bed, a private bathroom and kitchenette. Cosy heating and electric blanket. Across the road is a safe swimming beach, a children's playground and summer pool. You can walk for miles on this beach enjoying the stunning views of Wellington city and the South Island mountain ranges. We are 3 mins walking distance to shopping and cafe precinct of the seaside Eastbourne village. (Supermarket, Library, Doctor, Pharmacy, Dentist, Hairdresser Beautician, Massage, Deli, Cafes, Fruit Shop, Gelato, (Two cafes do delicious frozen meals.) all within 3 mins walking distance. 10 min walk to Days Bay, a stunning beach that has a Ferry to the CBD. The East by West Ferry takes 25 mins. (eastbywest co nz) Kayaks and bikes are at Days Bay in summer to hire. (bike shed pencarrow com) (the boatshed days bay com) Buses go every 30 mins to Wellington City and Lower Hutt city. There are bikes to hire at Burdens Gate for a flat coastal ride to twin lighthouses and stunning views down to South Island. (bikeshed pencarrow com) We are 4 mins walk to an entrance of the National Park with extensive and beautiful bush walks. Quiet family of 3 live at the property but guests enjoy all private amenities in separate apartment within the home. Continental breakfast provided. Families are welcome.

Admire the stunning harbour views that take in the harbour entrance, the Eastern Hills and Wellington City's coastal suburbs. On a fine day the Kaikoura range peaks can be seen. Suitable for 1 or 2 people, the annexe is a lovely space with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Access road is steep and narrow:)

Charming character cottage with privacy and views

Literally 2 minutes to the airport this private and cute little cottage is a tiny home nestled in native bush with greatviews over Miramar, the sea and airport. Great for plane spotting. There is a small deck where you can relax and unwind. Wake up in the morning to bird song and tuis overhead. There is a private garden to enjoy and walking and cycle ways close by. (Pase note there is a fairly steep driveway to the carpark area. Easy to drive up, not suitable to walk with a lot of luggage. )

The Art House

The Art House - a petite, quirky space up a steep driveway. Strategic location - 5 minute drive to Weltech. 4 minute drive down to Petone Station free parking - 12 minute train trip to Wellington. Jackson Street (5 minute drive) has more than than 60 restaurants, bars and cafés. 15 minutes to Bluebridge ferry terminal, 17 minutesto the Interislander terminal. There is no kitchen, just a microwave, kettle/jug and bar fridge. We live above the unit so there is noise from time to time.
