  • If you're looking for a spacious getaway off the beaten path with nature as yourbackdrop, this place is for you. Kelly and Brian have a beautiful, cozy home that is stocked full of amenities. We took full advantage of the full kitchen, books, & games. The bed is comfortable and the place is clean. We would be delighted to stay there again next time we travel to the area!

  • I had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The place was very cozy and relaxing. Kelly left a binder full of local recommendations for breweries, lunch/dinner spots, and the house rules, which was very helpful! I was staying in the lower level for a work trip during the week and the other tenants upstairs were a little rowdy during quiet hours — I’m very thankful that Kelly quickly stepped in when I messaged her. For a family or friend trip, I would probably recommend renting the whole place 😊

    Michelle2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The description and pictures are accurate! I would definitely recommend staying there!

    Shuler2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed at Kelly's place several times. I love it! I love the woodsy setting. It is immaculate! A very homey, comfortable place to spend a night or two.

  • Wonderful stay. Great distance from Duluth. Comfortable and quiet.

    Christine2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly's place is outstanding! Very clean and we felt very much at home. She took good care of us by providing starters for breakfast and no shortage of basic supplies. The location is beautiful, isolated, and very cozy. Trips for groceries and supplies can be kind of tricky. Expect to pay a good amount for rides into Duluth and deliveries. Likely not an issue if you have your own car though. Unfortunately we did not. The fireplace was a little disappointing. It's electric and felt more like a big space heater, but we definitely never went cold. The bedroom and living room each had very nice Samsung smart TVs. Probably the nicest entertainment centers I've ever seen in an AirBNB. There were several locked doors, one in each room, that caused us a bit of unease at first, but we quickly got used to it and forgot they were there. Unusual amount of rules that aren't made totally clear until you get there. For example, you're only limited to 4 guests and they seemed unusually stern about it. Although I'm sure they just want to keep the place nice for their guests, which we appreciated. I've never been a host myself and probably just don't realize how destructive people can get. All and all a very good experience and we'd definitely stay with Kelly again without a second thought.

  • Great area and the place was cozy!

    Stefanie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly responds promptly and the Airbnb was spacious and cozy. The location is great, close to Duluth and other quaint towns along the Northshore. Highly recommend!

Tucked away on 2.5 acres in the middle of Duluth, this one-bedroom cottage has breath-taking panoramic views of Lake Superior, the Aerial Lift bridge and the St. Louis River. With the large property and surrounding trees, the home feels secluded but has wonderful access to hiking and biking trails, parks, beaches and all that downtown Duluth and Canal Park have to offer. License PL 17-099
This property includes two dwellings and guests are welcome to reserve both or just the main home. The main home is a single-level home with an open floor plan and everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay for up to four people. The bedroom has a full-size bed and the living room has a new, very comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom and a washer/dryer. The second dwelling is available as an add-on for groups larger than four or for groups who would simply like a bit more space or privacy. This second cabin is a cute little A-frame about 75 yards away from the main home. It has a double bed in the loft and a double futon down below. The loft is accessed via ladder and so it not suitable for small children or guests with limited mobility. The A-frame is fully wired with electricity and has a ceiling fan, coffee pot, fridge, etc but no running water, just a composting toilet and a 2.5 gallon water dispenser. Adding the A-frame to your booking is an extra $100 a night. Please inquire at the time of booking if you would like to reserve both spaces. Please note that if you choose to only book the main home, we will NOT allow another group to book the A-frame during your stay. Ben, the property owner, may be in the A-frame at times to work on projects when it isn’t occupied by guests. We will notify you in advance if we need to be on the property or in the A-frame.
The unique neighborhood provides complete privacy, tucked in a small wooded area above scenic Skyline Parkway. Enjoy the seclusion while being just a few blocks from downtown and Canal Park!
  • The view alone is worth the trip! Highly recommended for a weekend up on the north shore.

    David2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little oasis at the top of the hill with great views and all you need for a cozy retreat. We hope to stay there again!

    Meg2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I loved this space. It was the perfect spot for my solo get away, but I could see it work equally well as a launching pad for all your Duluth and North Shore adventures. The views of Lake Superior were stunning. I don't think I'd ever tire of seeing the sun come up over the lake. The roads were slushy coming in and Emily and Ben quickly sent an alternative route to make the traveling to their Airbnb easier. Highly recommended.

    Perrin2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Emily's place was perfect! We didn't want to leave! Such a cute space with everything we needed for a relaxing get away. The views are stunning. This was an amazing place to spend some time while exploring Duluth. Thanks for the coffee and thoughtful touches! Highly recommend.

    Jess2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • This cozy cabin far exceeded our expectations for a girls get away trip in Duluth. Very close to the city but far enough away for peace and quiet. The space itself is lovely - well decorated, clean, and well stocked. We can’t wait to stay again in the summer months.

    Alexandria2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Emily’s place is so perfect! It was quiet, clean, cozy, and had a spectacular view. They were very communicative and gave us simple instructions for check in and check out. I can’t think of a better place to spend a couple of days recharging in Duluth!

    Woody2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at the cottage and hope to be back soon! The view was beautiful and location couldn’t have been better. The cottage felt secluded but was only a 9 minute drive from downtown and Canal Park and only 5 minutes from a grocery store. The space was cozy and we loved having full use of the kitchen and a washer and dryer. The owners were also very responsive whenever we needed anything.

    Kelsey2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Super cozy! The view is as good as it looks in the pictures. Sunrise right over the lake. Lovely little gas fireplace. Nice amenities. And so close to town, while feeling tucked away on the hilltop. You’ll love this place.

  • A quaint and clean space in a beautiful little wooded area. Not too far from downtown or grocery stores so it is very convenient. There is occasional noise from the upstairs but it’s not enough to make a fuss about. Would stay here again.

    Mathieu2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very clean, easy to access, and conveniently located to all Duluth's hot spots! We liked that it was surrounded by nature instead of backed up to other houses (even if we visited in the winter and didn't make use of the backyard). Very cozy and comfortable! Danny and Angie were incredibly responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

    Heather2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place with great location. The backyard is beautiful. The kitchen is great with all the pots/pans etc for cooking. I’ll definitely stay again!

    Kathryn2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay and we would/will probably look to book again. Unit is very clean, communication was great with quick response to any questions. The location is convenient, very close to UMD and CSS as well as downtown Duluth. Check in was convenient with no problems and value was high at about ½ the cost of a hotel room. No problem giving out a 5 star here!

    Jay2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location with nice amenities, just as advertised. We enjoyed our stay and even got to see a small of group of deer out back by the creek. Would stay again.

    Daniel2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific hosts. Angie is on top of her game and her communication is wonderful. The neighbor's snowblowing skills keep access open, even in early morning. This place is spotless and the amenities are top drawer, including wireless internet.

    Howard2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Nice space. It's like being in your own little apartment. They had everything that we need to have a quiet weekend away from home.

  • I came to stay at this location with my husband and a couple friends for a weekend in Duluth, and it was incredible! The space was both unique and inviting, and it was sparkling clean. The small touches like extra comfy sheets and chairs, a fully-stocked coffee caddy, and beautiful artwork made this experience even better than we could have imagined. We were also really close to all of the local attractions (both well-known and hole-in-the-wall places), which was super convenient! The host was also incredibly hospitable and was always quick to respond when I reached out to her.

    Courtney2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for having us over the weekend. Everything is super clean and thoughtful. Would love to come back in the future. (special thanks for the breakfast bars / oat meals and coffee machine, edible water comes out right at the sink, really feel like being hosted well!)

    Sijiu2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful space for our family! We played card games and made art projects in a lovely, friendly and well-lit space. The kitchen and living area is very conducive to group engagement and comfort!. There is a tasty mom and son café about a block down the road called Billings! All good stuff! Yum!!

    Jen2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • We have stayed at this house several times because it is very clean, dog friendly, convenient and Trisha has great communication. She was very accommodating when we contemplated coming a day early. There are wonderful amenities: oatmeal, tea, coffee or energy bars for breakfast. If you forget your toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo, or conditioner, no worries, Trisha has that covered too. We will be back for our annual visit to the area.

Contented Acres is a country retreat in Esko, 20 minutes south of Duluth on 15 secluded acres. The home started as a one room log cabin homesteaded in 1910 and today can sleep 14. With a commercial kitchen, threshing table that seats 12, and a 1,200 sqft great room with masonry fireplace, Contented Acres is the perfect location for anything from a multiple family ski trip, family gathering, or a couple looking to get away for the weekend.
Contented Acres is perfect for your next large family gathering. The large industrial kitchen and dining areas allow you to host and serve guests easily. The private yard and fire pit are great for outdoor fun. Kids will enjoy exploring the woods on the many trails, playing in the lofted log cabin play house and well loved tree house, and hanging out in the upstairs playroom.
Esko is centrally located to the Spirit Mountain Ski Hill, Jay Cooke State Park, and of course the great city of Duluth. Our location allows you the privacy of a small town with easy accessibility to the greater Duluth area. We welcome you to enjoy our beloved family home and hope your stay with us is memorable.
  • This house is so beautiful. It is spacious and sunny. We had everything we needed. Plenty of cozy seating in the living room and dining room. Great parking and good communication from host. Quick drive into Duluth and Carlton. Looking forward to staying again!

    Leah2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely fantastic time. The house is unique and has many different spaces for our kids and adults to spread out and be comfortable. Will definitely try to be back again. Thanks so much!

    Robert2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A great space for our large group! The long dining room table alone made our stay worth it. I do agree with a past reviewer that a thorough deep-clean would be helpful. But we’d still definitely stay here again!

    Rachel2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We were two families who needed a place to stay for a weekend of kids ski racing at Spirit Mountain. Contented Acres fit the bill and much more. Our kids (ages 5-11) absolutely loved it, not least of all the bunk room. The house is obviously a labor of love, and is full of hospitality and quirky details. Because we spent long hours on the hill, we didn't have a lot of time to just relax in the house or enjoy the grounds, but would certainly have enjoyed that. We did enjoy the spacious and well-stocked kitchen.

    Megan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This home is absolutely delightful!! Easy to find, yet tucked into a peaceful lot. Plenty of amenities to make the stay very comfortable. The layout was perfect for a large group to have the space to gather together and yet spaced out enough for quiet time, too. Beautiful!!! I will want another visit.

    Britt2020-02-02T00:00:00Z

The perfect place to call home base! Located in the heart of Duluth, in a bustling and diverse neighborhood, just 4 Blocks from Canal Park! All questions welcome! License Number PL17-073
If you are interested in staying in the heart of the city, where the action takes place, the bell tower rings and ambulances zoom by, then this is a good option for you. We love it, but understand that some folks prefer a quieter or more tourist controlled setting. We don't want anyone to be surprised by the location. Thanks for looking! The space includes: -A flight of stairs is the only way in to the condo -Large private front porch -Apple TV (Netflix, Hulu, etc. Don't forget your password!) -On street parking and an underground HEATED garage space -SPECTACULAR view The space does not include: -Air conditioning (does include fans) -Elevator -Cable TV This is the perfect place for a small family (2 adults and 2 or 3 kids) or a couple of couples or a handful of buddies. You get the point!
This condo is in a fantastic location. 4 blocks down the hill is downtown and Canal Park. Walk to Grandma's Marathon events, Tall Ships, Restaurants and Shopping. Whole Foods Co-op is 6 blocks away, there is green space across the street and you will be in the heart of a lively community.
  • Nice space in a good location. Host is very helpful and is prompt in responding to all inquiries. Very convenient to the Canal Park area.

    Geoffrey2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • The view was the best! And those charming bell sounds of the tower! Everything was wonderful. Clean. Stylish. Everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Fans were a big plus a touch we appreciated, being we all have a bad habit of sleeping with one on! Perfect amount of room for my family. Great location! Nikki was wonderful to communicate with.

    Sarah2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • The view is amazing and the space is so homey and relaxing. Definitely going to check this place for availability for my next trip to Duluth!

    Katy2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Really spectacular little spot that couldn’t be more conveniently located downtown. The space is sweet — the front windows are the perfect viewpoint for sunrise. The heated garage is definitely an unexpected perk in winter. Looking forward to our next stay here.

    Emily2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay, lots of room. Location convenient to downtown. Loved the heated garage for winter!

    Emily2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in Duluth. Nikki is a very good host. Highly suggest to stay here!

    Melissa2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nikki stayed in constant contact during the snow storm while we stayed at the condo. She contacted the snow removal company frequently and did everything she could on her end to get us out of the snow. The amenities are fabulous for families with small kids. The pack and play and high chair are in excellent/clean condition. The books and toys were just enough to keep our kids busy during down time between activities. It is a very family friendly condo. We are not familiar with Duluth and found the location to be PERFECT to all the places we wanted to visit. Just close enough to downtown that you can walk, and on a main strip that you can drive quickly around town to fabulous restaurants. We did not have any issues with the noises of downtown. You can faintly hear the clock tower ding and some outdoor noises, but that's all very quiet in the bedrooms. We will definitely be back!

    Allison2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We appreciated this lovely space. Nikki's timely communication, well-stocked cupboards and cozy quarters coupled with the terrific views of the lake and the heated indoor parking (during the snowstorm) made for a five-star experience. We usually spend our Duluth week in a hotel. This was so much more enjoyable.

Tourist homes, likes hotels, are considered essential services during the Covid-19 crisis. Through the next few weeks, we have added a 2-night buffer between each booking to allow additional measures of quarantine and sanitation to take place. We plan to continue to offer a cozy, clean location for guests in need of a place to stay in the Twin Ports. This American Craftsman style home is an eclectic mix of vintage antique, English garden cottage, & hunting retreat.
This classic Craftsman home is perfect for a group of six, spacious for two, and snug for 10. The main floor is TV free, we have numerous board and party games available for use. During the summer months yard games (Bean bags/Croquet) are available. The porch has a picnic table for covered outdoor eating as well as a sitting area. The shared patio has seating for 10 and a grill available for use. The African themed home has numerous animal mounts. See photos, there are 6 mounts and may be disconcerting for some guests.
The house is in a residential neighborhood. It is 6 blocks from Central Park which has a playground and disc golf course. The house is 8 blocks from Barker's Island which has a public beach, docks, mini-golf, and the Osage Trail. A grocery store, Super One, is located 5 mins away.
  • The location was perfect, quiet, but close to everything we wanted to see! The house worked great for our two families with babies, and was full of cool treasures from their travels to look at!

    Julia2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The space was tidy and included all the amenities we needed. We had a group of five people, but there were enough beds for a few more!

    Garrett2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Well kept home, very clean and spacious, lots of beds. Very comfortable and cozy. I love older character homes and this one had plenty of character. Great communication from Brita. Easy to access and on a nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

    Alayne2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Brita and Trent's home is very spacious with plenty of accommodations for your travelling needs. They were very responsive to any questions we may have had. We experienced some adverse weather while we were in Superior and they came by to ensure the drive and all walkways were cleared for us. I was very impressed! This home has plenty of beds and has a very warm, welcoming feel. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!

    Michael2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Brita's home was exactly what we needed. We were pleased to have the show cleared from the sidewalk bright and early before leaving the home. Thank you. Highly recommended.

    Susan2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely home with enough rooms and comfortable beds for our group of 6 adults. Well equipped kitchen and great island with stools on the middle for everyone to gather. Played a few rounds of Sequence, completed a puzzle and figured out the organ in the living room. Sharing the one bathroom took a little coordination but was doable. Appreciated the off-street parking. Would definitely stay here again!

    Dawn2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home, perfect for our large family! Cute closet nook for the kids to play in and games and puzzles to play for the adults. Def need new frying pans, but everything else was great! Wish there had been a bathroom on main floor but it wasn’t a big deal. I would recommend!

    Jody2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Brita is an amazing host, and responded back promptly to any questions or concerns we had. The house is pretty spacious and tidy. The only downside is that there is only one bathroom, but this did not ruin our stay. The one thing that we really appreciated is the taxidermies showcased in the house. It was almost like we had animals guarding the house whilst we were asleep. The location is perfect, if you want to do something in Superior or Duluth. Finally, on the last day of our trip, Brita reached out to us well in advance and gave us a late checkout time given that it was a Monday. Also, she was pretty easy on what had to be put away and what really didn’t have to. I would definitely recommend this house to any and all of my friends who want a Duluth weekend getaway.

  • Highly recommend. The cabin was very cozy, clean and we never wanted to leave. Katy and Scott went above and beyond accommodating our stay. We fully enjoyed the fire pit, the fire on the deck, and of course the sauna. Very peaceful and serene outside yet so close to Duluth. Buffalo house bar had good food, but also check out ve Bene in Duluth, amazing.

  • Amazing private cabin tucked away in the woods but close to many nearby attractions. Would definitely recommend.

  • The perfect getaway! Way better bang for your buck than any place you'll find in downtown Duluth. All the comforts of home and such a beautiful house. Private but still extremely accessible and a quick 10 minute drive into the city. My favorite part was the quiet and peacefulness early in the morning. So cozy! Extremely attentive and accomodating hosts. Highly recommend. Thank you, Katy!

  • Wow! A perfect place for a couples weekend. We cooked in the amazing kitchen, went sledding, and used the fabulous sauna. The space is beautifully decorated while still being homey. The cabin feels secluded yet it is only a short ride to Duluth for breweries, shopping, and great food! Scott and Katy are wonderful hosts. They made sure we were prepared for the snow storm and they were incredibly responsive. We are already talking about making a return visit!

    Katharine2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was warm and cozy and roomy enough for four! The space was perfect for games, big meals, reading in our separate spaces and enjoying the outdoors. The sauna was definitely a fun winter experience!

    Kathryn2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin turned out to be way more than expected. It is so warm and cozy. Off the beaten path and nature filled. We didnt expect to spend much time in the cabin but once we arrived we didn't really want to leave. The sauna is amazing. Decor and renovation in this small cabin couldn't be better. The shower? That is a place you also don't want to get out of! I will be returning to the cabin the next time I get close enough to stay. Definately recommend a stay here. Thank you Katy!

There is plenty of seating and bedding for all guests. We didn't get to explore the land, but would have liked to. Tracy is a quick communicator and will certainly take care of you!

The Little Red House is a vintage 1918 home that was built right after the Cloquet and Moose Lake Fires of 1918, by the Red Cross. These sturdy little homes were built for temporary occupancy by families who lost their larger family homes to the fire, to live in while their original homes were rebuilt. The Little Red House features restored pressed tin wall covering throughout.
Located in Cloquet's southern residential area, the Little Red House is close to highways 33 and interstate 35. There are a number of shopping and dining options within walking distance of the home.
The Little house is located about 5 miles from Jay Cooke State Park, and 18 miles from Duluth's many attractions. Black Bear Casino, famous for its steakhouse and buffet, is 3 miles away.

LOCATED JUST OUTSIDE OF DULUTH. Enjoy this tranquil Yurt nestled in the pines over looking farm fields on the border of Jay Cooke State Park. Located approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Duluth you can experience "glamping" and star gazing at night and explore the surrounding trails by day.
The "Pines Yurt" is a 16' diameter (roughly 200 sq ft) Colorado Yurt Co. yurt built on a solid hard wood platform. It is located on the boarder of Jay Cooke State Park. The Yurt is located a short walk (approximately 2 blocks) from where you will be parking your car. A small cart is provided to bring your bags back to the yurt. If you are coming and going after dark, we recommend bringing a flashlight. About the Property: The property is 8 acres with a mix of fields & forest. It borders Jay Cooke State Park and neighboring farm.
The neighborhood is very rural and peaceful. The sounds of the city and traffic are replaced by the sounds of birds and animals here.
  • Andre and Sue are the best host. Sue greeted us late at night to accommodate us due to late arrival of my husband work. She showed our way to the yurts and show us how to operate. Every morning she would bring us fresh brewed coffee to start our day. No better host then this. The yurt was super cute and clean, its like a luxury camping.

    Calvina2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was FANTASTIC! We were so surprised when we walked in- it was beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and in lovely surroundings. I would absolutely recommend staying and hope to come back again!

    Chloe2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • This yurt is the perfect weekend getaway! With it's location being steps away from Jay Cooke State Park and a 20 minute drive to downtown Duluth, it was hard to beat. Sue and Andre were great hosts going above and beyond by preparing a fire for us and delivering freshly brewed coffee each morning. Definitely recommend staying in this yurt in the fall when it's not too cold outside and the leaves are just starting to change. Nothing beats it!

    Emily2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing weekend! Sue, Adrian, and Andre were great hosts who made sure we felt right at home. I have already recommended this yurt to many coworkers, friends, and family. We will for sure be back!

    Zoe2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I were looking for a great getaway for our anniversary and this more than delivered! With added touches like morning coffee and a prepared fire we couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. We stargazed, biked to the state park and were close to Duluth so we even had a bit of fun in the city. This exceeded our expectations and the hosts are wonderful people! Thanks!!

    Rachelle2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • If you would like a unique glamping experience on a beautiful property close to Duluth and next to Jay Cooke Park with numerous hiking trails and the Munger bike trail, this is the place for you. There are 2 yurts on what used to be a farm. The yurts are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, cozy down comforter and solar lighting. You can charge your cellphones via solar powered battery in room. We brought a wireless speaker and listened to our own music we had downloaded on our phones. We hiked directly from our yurt on a path that led directly to Munger bike trail and from there, several hiking trails. Adrian outlined a wonderful hike down along the St. Louis river. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with another couple (in other yurt) down at the fire pit and barbecued some kabobs we had brought with us. There is a refrigerator in the barn where food can be stored. The yurts are a distance apart and not visible to one another. We loved our experience and will be back with bikes the next time. I loved having coffee delivered to the yurt each day!

    Wendy2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first stay in a yurt, and we LOVED it. Sue gave us a very nice tour of their land, and it was an incredible location. We were able to hike to Jay Cooke State Park and bike the Munger trail from our yurt location. We really enjoyed stargazing and using the grille to cookout. What a memorable experience!

Located in the heart of Canal Park, one of Duluths' most vibrant neighborhoods. Steps away from Lake Superior and The Duluth lakewalk, where you will find fantastic restaurants, bars, boutiques, coffee shops, art galleries, and so much more. Room 2 (ADA-accessible) is a bit larger than room 1, with a deck view, large coffee bar, queen-sized bed, pull-out full-sized sofa, and a large bathroom.
Luxury suites with a community sauna, a large deck with a fire pit (seasonal) and five rooms available for rent. Our unique building was first a passenger depot and train station. Tied to the historic brewpub, Fitger's Brewhouse, Endion Station Inn will provide vouchers to local craft beer during your stay on the shores of the largest freshwater lake in the world. Spend a day on the water and experience the mighty Lake Superior, our personal favorite of the Great Lakes. Local "brew-tique" decor coupled with comfortable furnishings creates a unique, cozy feel in this five bedroom boutique hotel. All rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, TV (with cable), a Nespresso machine for slow mornings, clothes iron, hair dryer, private bathrooms with large showers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Each room also comes with extra warm blankets for those ultra-cold northern nights. Dog lovers don't have to leave their best friends at home either--you can bring along your dog in rooms 2 and 3 for an additional charge ($25 per dog). Sorry, due to allergies, we do not accept cats. **PLEASE NOTE** Starting in the middle of January the city of Duluth will be having thousands of trucks of stone delivered to the gravel beach directly behind Endion station. They will be used in the shoreline reconstruction project along Canal Park shoreline starting in early spring. This will be between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm. We see this as a great opportunity to be one of the first to witness the incredible new Canal Park Shoreline! Please keep this in mind when booking. All parking spots in the lot are available to guests, and free during the winter.
Endion Station Inn is located right on the lake walk, in the heart of Canal Park. You will find an abundance of local shops, breweries and restaurants all within walking distance! We encourage walking, biking and enjoying the close hiking trails located towards the end of Park Point.
  • Great location, room, coffee, etc. it was very homey, cute, clean. The best place we’ve stayed in

    Marli2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • A great location if you have events or business over the DECC to attend. You can walk to the DECC or most places in Canal Park in less than 10min. The room was very cozy with high ceilings and was kept very clean. The large barrel sauna is a great amenity and Nescafe machine was a nice perk, a much better cup of coffee than Keurig IMHO.

    Ben2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a must stay place for Duluth. We loved the quick access to everything we needed and wanted to do! The room was absolutely adorable and sooooo fun! High ceilings and Antique Beer memorabilia scatter through out the room was a perfect touch given Duluth and allll the local brewery’s around. Its wonderful now and it’s going to be even better when all the shore restoration is complete, as they have the boardwalk pulled till the project is complete. We still got out and walked the shoreline. Rianne was quick to respond when we had questions. Check in was easy. Parking was a bit tricky at first but we got it all figured out. Rianne provide a binder with info on the room and local things in town. Thanks again for having us!!

  • This is a truly beautiful and stylish space. It’s seconds away from the beach at Canal Park, and the convenience is amazing! I loved the amenities — the sauna was awesome and the Nespresso machine was a dream. Would totally come back again!

If you're looking for an enchanting getaway, getting lost in the twinkling lights of Duluth, or desire to look over the majestic lake Superior, this loft is for you. Walking distance from Chester park and a few local hiking spots. Close to other Duluth "must see's" such as Hawks ridge, downtown (5-7 min drive) , the port, and even Point Park. This centrally located BnB is perfect for any Duluth adventure you could want. Book today! (And is pet friendly-see below details)
What makes our space unique: This is a quaint 1920's home. The space has been updated but keeps its old home charm. There are unique points of furniture such as our lake superior driftwood coffee table, propagated (grown from a piece of an adult plant) succulents, and a variety of antiques. The biggest drawback of our space is the slanted ceilings. The middle tallest part of the ceiling is 6' 1". I do not want to discourage any of our taller humans from experiencing this cozy space, but would not feel right about not giving any notice! I wish I could make the ceilings higher-however- it has been described as "cozy, quaint, and comfortable". What you have in your Airbnb Loft: -water boiler -toaster oven -electric cooking pan -mini-fridge -6 gallons fresh water (Duluth water is the tastiest water ever!! no lie.) -plates/cups/utensils -bowl with dish soap and sponge (if desired to wash dishes in bnb) -double/full size bed -space heater -ironing board (in closet in living space) -iron (in closet in living space) -bath towels and washcloths -extra blankets (in the black cabinet-not pictured) -TV with built in DVD player (in closet in bedroom) -access to wifi -access to welcome book. You will have a key-locked door at the bottom of the stairs (for peace of mind if you desire to lock up your belongings while you are away) and your bedroom will have a separate lock to it (from the inside). Parking is readily available (usually), free, and on the street. (Will just need to park on same side of street as the other cars- since here in Duluth we have wonky parking rules for snow removal) What is shared: - "the worlds tiniest bathroom" - main kitchen (if you prefer to your private kitchenette) - main living space - dining room -main entrance This is a pet friendly Airbnb. If you are looking to bring your beloved furry friend please see below for pet guest house rules. Side note: We have two lovely pets that are not allowed into the Airbnb space. If you have allergies, the space is cleaned very well between guests and should not be an issue (if you are concerned about the space being hypoallergenic please contact the host to let us know what can make the space a better accommodation for you).
Beautiful residential neighborhood. Hilltop with view of lake superior. Chester park is a 10 minute walk and there are other local trails 5 minute walk from the house. Less than a mile from the College of Saint Scholastica main campus. 10 minute drive from downtown Duluth.

  • Very small but absolutely adorable! Im 5' 7'' and it was pretty cramped so I'm sure my 6 ft partner had an interesting time lol. Pets are very friendly and cute as well 🐶🐱

  • My stay was short, as I basically just slept overnight and left in the morning shortly after waking, just one night. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and it was evident they wanted me to feel at home, which I appreciated very much. The listing's description is quite accurate, no surprises from my perspective. The private room is the entire upstairs area, which really feels like two separate rooms - one with the bed and one with the kitchenette. The stairs are certainly steep, which means each step is short so only the front portion of your foot touches the step, unless you navigate the steps with your feet sideways. And the ceiling is certainly low as described. I'm 5'11" and I mostly moved around crouched, kind of felt like I was in a fort. These things are mentioned in the listing, just providing my experience. I would definitely visit again. :)

  • The house was exactly as pictured. It was a very comfortable place to stay. The host had it nicely decorated for Fall. The location was convenient for our activities at Spirit Mountain and Jay Cooke State Park.

  • Expect a super cute, super clean place to relax near Duluth!

  • This was a great place to stay on our trip to Duluth and the North Shore. Nice neighborhood, grocery stores Walmart nearby, kitchen cookware fully stocked, beds were really comfortable and a nice short drive to Duluth. Our 6 year old daughter loved the big (mostly fenced in!) backyard after the long car ride. We were able to book on short notice, although if booking with short notice; I do recommend messaging Anne before booking to confirm she is available to host as this is her personally, lovely home. She had an unexpected event happen to her the day we booked yet she was still able to accommodate us perfectly; everything was clean and we had an excellent stay. So much better than having to be crammed in a hotel room.

    Jason2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second stay at Anne’s and I will definitely stay again. Her place is clean, cute and cozy and Anne is a great communicator. I love it!

  • Anne's house was perfect for our stay! I just wish we could have stayed longer. The house is so cute and nicely decorated. It is also spotless! Had everything we needed. Very comfortable and Iloved the patio. I didn't meet Anne, but she was very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Located in the heart of Canal Park, one of Duluths' most vibrant neighborhoods. Steps away from Lake Superior and The Duluth lakewalk, where you will find fantastic restaurants, bars, boutiques, coffee shops, art galleries, and so much more. Room 3 is a cozy room with a queen-sized bed, a small office desk, and a coffee bar.
Dog lovers don't have to leave their best friends at home either--you can bring along your dog in rooms 1, 2 and 3 for an additional charge ($25 per dog).

  • My stay at the Endion Inn was wonderful! Rianne communicated all expectations & information well, which made checking in & out a breeze. The room was stylish, pretty and clean, although I would recommend not booking a ground-level room if you’re a light sleeper. Our room was next to the front door, which meant a lot of loud banging throughout the night - but this could also differ depending on the other guests staying at the time of your stay! In addition to the lovely room, the sauna and community fireplace were great bonus features and the location can’t be beat.

    Meg2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Rianne's Airbnb is absolutely amazing!! I didn't realize that was right down in the Canal area - it's the perfect location. The location is quiet and convenient. The sauna is an amazing added plus!! The rooms are much bigger than they seem - plenty of space for two people! This will definitely be my go-to place to stay in Duluth!

    Samantha2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place in a great location. It had everything I needed for my stay. Rianne was responsive and kept the place clean and fully stocked of items I needed. 10/10 would book a stay at Endion Station again in the future.

    Ia2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • A great property in a very good location. The sauna is OUTSTANDING! Rianne does a great job with communication. My unit was pristine when I walked in the door.

Enjoy easy access to world class mountain bike trails, The Superior Hiking Trail, the Lincoln Park craft district, and the natural beauty of Duluth. This bungalow style house, has a private upper level space with a queen bad and enough room to set up an optional cot or portable baby crib(provided upon request).
Guests can expect that their space will be clean, quiet and private. Guests share a bathroom and kitchen with the hosts (two responsible adults and 1 very friendly dog). Feel free to bring food and beverages as you may also cook, make coffee, etc. we just ask that you clean what dishes you make dirty. Even though our dog is very friendly and loves other animals and people, at this time we do not allow pets.
The proximity to Piedmont and Brewer multi-use trails, the Superior Hiking Trail, make this a must stay for an outdoor enthusiast. We are also about 5 minutes from 2 grocery stores including a WholeFoods Co-op and about 15 minutes from the mall area, downtown Duluth, Canal Park/ Park point. If you are a mountain biker I can give you plenty of planned route suggestions and am well connected to the trail condition reports at any time of year.

  • On a road trip up to Grand Portage near Canada my friends and I got stuck in the snow in our Subaru with NO SERVICE and had to walk into the closest town to ask for help, a Dodge Ram ALSO got stuck and we ended up having to get a back hoe out there to get us all out of the snow and I didn’t receive the confirmed request email until we finally got out of our sticky situation and had already checked into the nearest cheap hotel to catch some z’s as we were EXHAUSTED and Rianne listened to my horror story and was so kind to work with me !!

We don't intend to be a vacation home, or high end getaway at all, just a small room for folks who want to enjoy Duluth without the cost of hotel stays. The guest room is on the main floor of our home right next to the bathroom--which is private for you while you are here. We've stocked the guest room with extra blankets, a mini-fridge and alarm clock radio so those items are at your fingertips if desired. You are welcome to use access the kitchen for microwave, water/ice, etc and use the living room, deck and fire pit during your stay! • Heather and Randy's AirBnB worked out perfectly for my needs as I was traveling through Duluth on a work trip. It is near the airport and the business area of Duluth, so the location was perfect. She was great with communication and check in was very easy. I had traveled long and it was so nice to land in a warm, safe place with their kitties, Twix and Butterfinger, to greet me. Their cats are not intrusive, so if you aren't a cat lover like me, you can avoid them easily. They only responded to me because I engaged them and then were very friendly with me. My room and bed was comfortable and cozy. I got to meet Heather in the morning and we chatted for a bit, which was very enjoyable. :) Thank you so much for hosting me, Heather & Randy! I hope to see you again sometime.

Historic, charming house 1/2 block from one of the largest & most stunning deep gorge parks in Duluth. Easy access to hiking & biking trails, the newest local craft district, restaurants, pubs, venues & shops. This listing is also on a major bus route, has a fenced in double-lot & 3 private parking spaces. Accommodating Host has 24 years professional knowledge of the major(& hidden) jewels that make Duluth the place to be. Kids & pets are welcomed on a case by case basis. Let's talk 🥰
Built around 1890, this home is a historic gem. Lightly refurbished & decorated w/ eclectic treasures, it retains an aura of yesterday's charms while keeping up with today's necessities. It creaks and groans yet solidly insulates all within from weather, commotion, stress and uncertainty. Available rooms are clean, comfortably furnished and have all basic necessities provided. Hosts seek to accommodate special requests whenever possible.
The Lincoln Park neighborhood is one of the most culturally diverse & economically vibrant in the city of Duluth. The huge city park that gave it its' name surrounds Miller creek, a designated trout stream that tumbles down 12 blocks of steep rocky outcrops and old growth forest. Historically, the neighborhood has gone from turn-of-the century affluence, to mid- century working class to sadly degenerated in the 80's & 90's. From 2000-on it has been on the upswing and is currently experiencing an incredible period of growth and rejuvenation. Investment in business, craft and housing areas make Lincoln Park one of Duluth's most sought- after areas to live, work and relax. Craft breweries, bars, convenience stores, Organic restaurants, cafes, sports complexes, machine shops, banks, boutiques, bakeries, music venues, museums and more can all be found w/in 10 blocks of each other. From this business district spreads the heart & soul of the neighborhood- it's people- who live in homes that spread up the hillside in a multi- colored mix of new and old styles, overlooking the harbor and Lake Superior itself.
  • Clean bedroom and bathroom.. she also has a cat and it's very friendly! she's also clear on directions on where you can park as well as a map that tells you about things to do there. I enjoyed my stay there.

    Vanessa2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • B&B feel at a great price in a fabulous neighborhood. Duluth’s Best Bread just steps away and the best restaurants and breweries in town just blocks away!

    Kate2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome house, close to some amazing breweries and coffee shops! 100% recommend! Pamela is an amazing host, helping with check in and local tips!

    JonPaul2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • I took an impromptu visit to Duluth from the twin cities for a change of scenery. Pamela’s house was very cozy and inviting, and she herself was very hospitable & helpful. I felt very at home. I got some great tips on things to see & do also. I will try to stay here the next time I come into town!

    Naomi2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela’s space was lovely, clean, and comfortable. She was quick to communicate and a very accommodating host. Location was great for us and very convenient to get up and down the shore or anywhere within Duluth.

    Austin2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela was a great host in a great location. Would stay here again!

    Anthony2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela was exceptionally warm, sweet, and an overall great hostess! The room was tidy and cozy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The house was very charming with a historical vibe. I enthusiastically recommend it!

    Jonathan2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela's is a big, old Victorian house conveniently located on the west end of Duluth, right on a bus line to get down to the DECC and other centrally-located amenities; also very easy to get to by car in just a few minutes from the center of town. It's a large home; my room was comfortable, quiet, nicely decorated, wifi available, comfortable bed. Pamela had left out fruit for me if I wanted it and I had use of the kitchen. Zeus the cat was friendly but also minded and backed-off if I didn't want him in my room. Pamela is a collector and her house is full of fascinating books, shells, driftwood, plants, and lots more. She is someone fun to chat with if she's around, too, and will happily tell you about Duluth and places to go and see; right nearby is a beautiful park with a rushing stream going through it; good star-watching at night when I went for a walk. She was very responsive when I needed anything. Access was easy. I have no hesitations in recommending Pamela's place!

    Nicole2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • As caribou states on its coffee cups, "cabin time," is very important. This trip was to clebrate our engagement. The gas fire place was romantic. The beds were comfortable. The heated porter potty, was a blessing at negative 7. And we both slept like a baby, warmly. Take care in winter to go straight up to the bar and then go down the road, past the bar, because Google Maps, will try to take you down unplowed road. Other than that, it was everything we wanted and we will be back soon.

  • We love staying here. It’s so cozy and comfortable. The Lounge on site is a great place to grab a drink and meet some locals. The cabin has heat, but bring blankets or sleeping bags, because the beds just come with sheets. We’ll definitely be back!

    Lindsey2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! We got in after dark and went up to The Lounge for some pizza and beer. We watched the Wild game with some locals and had a fun time. The cabin itself was very cozy, clean, and as expected. We did both take showers at the campground, and with a little bit of mental preparation it was just fine.. water was warm, so can’t complain there. Thanks for having us!

  • This place was absolutely delightful! It had the cozy feel of an individual Airbnb room yet cleanliness that even exceeds what I typically experience at a chain hotel. It is in a prime location to access attractions in both Wisconsin and Minnesota with plenty of local restaurants, attractions, and shopping (local and chain) all very close by. The location feels safe and the nearby downtown area is great for walking in the warmer months. The price (when I visited) was also very competitive and I feel I got more than my money's worth, as it exceeded my expectations.

  • Our stay at Superior Bay was wonderful! We were impressed with the coziness and the thoughtfulness of each item. The keypad entrance made it smooth when we got to the location. We had everything we needed in the room. It was also a close location to Canal Park, where we went a few times. We would definitely stay again!

  • The Penrose Suite is wonderful! If you can’t tell from the photos, Dawn does a good job of making sure the space is warm, inviting, cozy, and clean. We had everything we could possibly need, plus those scones were delicious. Would absolutely stay here again!
