Experience beautiful nature in a cozy mountain cabin! The cabin is located by itself on the edge of the forest overlooking the whole of Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking possibilities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km on skis through the forest to the ski trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin has 5 beds, plus a sprinkler bed, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels included. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to the city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

Rena city center - cafes, shops, cinema, bowling - 10 km Suitable for couples/families, child-friendly.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. In addition, an annex, gapahuk and sauna are available. Hot tub open from Jun-Oct. The cabin has three spacious bedrooms with 8 beds and the annex has in addition 3 beds. The cabin has a good standard with a new well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Laundry room and extra toilet in the basement. Great outdoor areas with fire pits.

Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.

Pannehuset and Birkenhytta

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
