Our third time at this beautiful place with super superhosts. Always a wonderful stay in every way.

Mark was really nice and very helpful. He and Sue made everything they could to accommodate me and my family. Communication was real easy and fast. His place was perfect for our staying. I would say that the cabin look A LOT better in person than on the pictures. Very relaxing and peaceful, not to mention the driving to their place is beautiful. You will get a really nice hill country looking road and trees.

Absolutely stunning place, and Mark and Sue are wonderful people. We loved our stay there. The personal touches really made the experience that much more special for us. We will definitely be back!

Mark and Sue are amazing hosts! The cottage is beautiful and cozy and just what we were looking for. The homemade wine that they provided for us was delicious and I would go back just for more of it. Just a heads up their property truly is out in nature and surrounded by all that it includes. There was a raccoon that I believe was injured that hung around the cabin, poor thing, but he was harmless. We had such a great time!

Great place to stay. Quiet, stylish, friendly. Not too far of a drive to the River Walk. Definitely wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

This space is amazing!!! It was very clean and Kate went above and beyond to disinfect as a precaution in response to the corona virus outbreak. Kate and John were on site most of the time for any questions and gave excellent recommendations on local fare. The space is fully equipped with all the basic necessities and there are several grocery store options nearby. The bed was super comfy and we cannot wait to book our next visit!

Wonderful gateway to the hill country of Texas, getting outside the usual sights of the city limit. Quiet neighborhood about 30 mins from San Antonio. If you’re looking to get to places like Fredericksburg or Boerne, then this is the perfect place to stay!

We loved the space! Kate and John were so kind and welcoming, and the landscaping is gorgeous. We cracked our windows (springtime) and listened to the treefrogs at night, and the birds in the morning. It was so peaceful, and we would definitely stay again.

The place was spotless, slightly confusing to find at first, although we came in when it was dark out..... but we were in town for a wedding at scenic springs and it could not have been a better location, and such a unique little spot!! Loved our stay!

What a wonderful place just outside the city. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the wonderfully decorated and charming cottage. Well appointed. All necessities met and local shops are not too far away. That being said, it is a little chilly. But I guess that comes with staying in a limestone cottage.

This was a hidden gem and such an awesome place to unwind and feel peaceful. LOVE the decor and comforting touches. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud!! Hoping to go back there again soon!!

The apartment is spacious and comfortable with excellent wifi and one of the few in San Antonio area with cable tv provided. Also Roku tv and Netflix! It is quiet and private in a wooded yard. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking and full size refrigerator. The only coffee maker is Keurig with a few pods provided or a french press, which is messy. The washer and dryer just outside the apartment were appreciated. Highly recommended if you are okay with a 40 minute drive to San Antonio.

Chelsea was an amazing host that had excellent communication! The casita was quaint and cozy. Very clean space and although our Spartan event got canceled, we had an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely place in a beautiful scenic area. My husband and I felt very much at peace and enjoyed the serene environment. We loved the fact that we were close to San Antonio but could come back after a day of hiking or visiting surrounding towns and just feel like we were in our own space. Everything was very clean and the casita was bright and tastefully decorated but also private and cozy. Would highly recommend for a central location to many different sights in the hill country or for a romantic get a away!

Great place to stay if you’re thinking about traveling to Helotes. Very close to Floore’s and Grey Moss Inn restaurant. The place had great touches and amenities, especially the outdoor hot tub! Would definitely stay again.

Great space.

You will not find another airbnb like this one. Perched on a cliff over the Helotes creek and small waterfall. There is another waterfall on the property into the huge Koi pond. Although there's no "Cable TV" per se. There is Netflix and we were able to see the new Scorsese film the Irishman on the big flat screen in front of the bed. We arrived to find a basket filled with snack goodies, and several "personal sized" wine bottles. The array of Keurig cups for the coffee maker was amazing, including 6 kinds of Hot Chocolate. The Hot Tub Spa was ready and just the right temperature. Jo and Tom were there to greet us and offered a tour of their custom-built home upstairs, which is like something from Architectural Digest. We brought our local family over to experience this one-of-a-kind environment and they asked for contact info, so they can spend a romantic weekend for their Anniversary. Overall the uniqueness of the experience more than makes up for the 10 steps to the separate shower and restroom. Unforgettable experience in the "country" ...10 minutes from "town."

This is one of the best air bnbs ive stayed at and ive stayed at hundreds. Very close to Floore's dancehall. The hosts were fantastic. The hot tub was perfect. The Koi pond was legit. Highly highly recommend this stay.

What a great place to stay!— out of the hub-bub of the city, in a quite and mostly private little corner of the property. Everything was clean and lovely, modern and stylish; the cabin is an older structure with great updates! There is a window unit above the bed—- kept the place cool during a humid weekend stay. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The Quirky Rustic Cottage was more than I envisioned....I loved the area, quietness, and location. The place is secluded but close enough to run into town. Ms. Linda has thought of everything for this little home. Sitting by the fire pit, relaxing indoors, or posting my feet up on the porch were all activities I took advantage of. I'd definitely recommend and will personally be back!!

This is a great little getaway. We loved the rock cabin and the quaintness and charm of the place more than made up for having to go around back to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was very comfortable and the rock walls and rain shower make it very unique. The front porch and back patio are nice touches as is the wood burning stove inside. Coffee on the back patio was a delight on the warmer morning of our stay as was the fire pit during the cooler evening. We have been to quite a few Airbnb’s and this was one of the most enjoyable.

This stay made me feel closer to nature. Staying in this farm house was a great experience.

I found this place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for two people. The bathroom and shower was excellent. You could tell that Linda made sure that the cottage is very clean. Furthermore, they clearly explained the area, and the views with their horses were fantastic! For the price, I honestly think this is a bargain. I am looking forward to staying here again one day.

i had a very relaxing stay at Troy's home given the current pandemic. the place was CLEAN and i felt like i had my own wing of the house. i felt safe, very comfortable and the space allowed me to unwind on my roadtrip. the next time in san antonio i would love to stay here!

They were so friendly and quick to respond to messages. The room was beautiful and very clean. They had info for the WiFi network in the room, as well as a fan, Keurig with a selection of coffee, and a mini fridge. The house was gorgeous, and the neighborhood was quiet. I definitely recommend it!

Troy’s home was such a cozy, beautiful place to spend the night after a long day of driving. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and supplied with amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Troy greeted my boyfriend and I when we arrived and was available if we needed anything during our stay. It was a pleasure to stay here!

Exactly as advertised. Check in was quick and easy. One thing to note is that there are quiet hours after 10pm where it is requested that you not take showers. Overall, great experience.

Pierre’s placebos beyond gorgeous and beyond what I expected. I would stay there a millions if I could and would recommend it to anyone to stay. It’s perfect, clean, comfortable and close to everything. 30 mins from the Alamo, Riverwalk and I even went to the Natural Bridge Caves which was also close. My things were safe in his home since I’m traveling far west to move. The home is very peaceful and organized. Thank you for a great experience Pierre!

We enjoyed our time at Pierre’s. He has a beautiful home, and the bedroom and bathroom were just perfect. We love to go hear live music at John T. Floore’s in Helotes. His home is just a few minutes away. So convenient! We’ll be back!

Kathryn’s place was absolutely adorable and fantastic for a night stay and good nights rest. The kitchenette makes it possible to cool up something too, which is a bonus. I would definitely book this stay again, if I was in the area :)

Convenient location to downtown. In a quiet neighborhood with covered parking and private entrance. We did not meet Kathryn but she was quick to respond to all of our messages.

Had a great time living at this place with two little ones. Apart from corona virus hype rest were perfect. Host is super responsive to your queries. Nicely organized place and we would surely recommend this place. Location is good as you got Walmart Sam's club just within walking distance. Loved it.

Kathryn was very communicative and friendly. Nice to have a carport, but it is a bit tight to get in to. Personally didn't have any problems. The living space was quite clean. Pretty quiet neighborhood and plenty of privacy. A good place for a quick stay in San Antonio.

Nice room. Very nice small family living there. I missed a mirror in the room, no big deal. If you are coming by bus you should note, that there aren't any buses going close to the house on sunday.

Kim's place is a wonderful cozy getaway. even though the cottage is just minutes way from HEB, and lots of shopping opportunities close by. I love the fact that you can see deer and trees outside the cottage window. It's like a little piece of the country, quiet and relaxing. One of my favorite airbnbs.

This spot makes a great “studio apt” in a little cabin space in a beautiful area. Kim and Augie are friendly and available to help. The space is plenty big for two, with a kitchenette area, heat/A/C, hot shower, and sparkling clean. I didn’t get to use it, but they offer their grill and patio in the very large outdoor space. Saw deer all around the yard and neighborhood - very quiet, country feel. It’s amazing this is tucked away in the city. I travel to San Antonio and plan to stay here again.

We've stayed at Nathanael's house for one night, but would stay much longer! Excellent location, ample open space, and fantastic amenities. For those traveling by car parking spot in the driveway in front of the house is available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Friendly environment and great hospitality

We had a very nice stay. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom spotless. Fantastic location for driving cross country. The home is near I-10 with Walmart nearby for any supplies. Neighborhood was very safe and quiet. We will stay again.

Nice place to stay. I was there to work night shift and Patricia was great about letting me check in a bit early and flexible with checkout so I could get a nap in before my shift and again after to safely drive home. Very nice to be able to have my dog with me as well. Would book again next time I’m in the area.

We love staying at Sidney's trailer when we come to San Antonio!

I had been wanting to book an Airbnb Camper for some time—but hesitated (repeatedly). My last camping trips were long-ago, in childhood, and perhaps I wanted to relegate those memories and, in a sense, *reserve them* (without creating new ones that might not compare). Finally, I relented, in part because I wanted to explore Helotes more carefully, but also because, well, the time felt right. Now, I’m so-very-glad I did. The camper is set in the Deep, Deep Woods (metaphorically-speaking), and the view is. . .Superb. It is parked adjacent to the house, but the other side’s view makes it seem like you are in the woods (by yourself). And that, Fellow-Airbnbers, is exactly what I needed. I got A Wee Break from Weekly Concerns, attended two appointments, drove-a-bit in Hill Country—and explored Helotes. The whole area is safe and charming and exactly what I needed. And, too, Sidney’s Hospitality was sincere. You will enjoy your country, calming (and kind) stay here immensely.

I actually didn't stay this time-my dad did! He said he loved it and the hosts were so sweet and kind. They were incredibly helpful and the space was comfortable for him. Highly recommended!

Margot, Tom, and Animal are super friendly. Bedroom and bathroom are very clean and organized. Definitely on our list if we come back to visit San Antonio.

If your looking for comfort for 3 guests you will get it! Very convenient to Lackland AFB, downtown and SeaWorld. We were very pleased with our stay with Margot, Thomas and animal.

They are so a lovely couple. We had a heartwarming time there. Beds clean. Kitchen great. I recommend it.

Rob, Shannon and I (Taylor) loved the place and the dog! We had such a great time at the house! Everyone at the house was accommodating and kind and very trustworthy. The location was great. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

I would highly recommend Margot's place. Clean, quiet, peaceful, friendly, and an amazing pup named "Animal" who is by far the most friendliness puppy ever! We loved staying here! My son and I enjoyed the room and the location, as well as the thoughtful touches both in the room and the home. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we are in town!
