Chill out in style in this 1920s Arts & Crafts bungalow. Here, richly patterned rugs complement artifacts that range from natural wood carvings to angular sculptures. There's plenty of space, both inside and out to start and wrap up your fun-filled days in the mountains of western NC. Dash into Asheville to check out their scene or hang in Hendo with many great activities close by! We have awesome shops, restaurants, and breweries - all within walking distance of each other!! Come experience our freshly renovated 20's bungalow with 9 ft ceilings, hardwood floors, and nice furnishings. There are two comfy bedrooms with new, high quality mattresses and linens, each with private full bathrooms. We designed the kitchen with the gourmet chef in mind and it holds everything needed for the imaginative cook. After a day of exploring, relax on the front porch with your favorite beverage and snack, reminiscing about the day's events. Inside entertainment includes a 50"smart TV hanging over the fireplace, WiFi, and a Bluetooth sound system. If you need extra more space, consider also renting our Carriage House behind the bungalow! The listing title is "Newly Renovated Carriage House - Walk to Downtown" We also have a 5 STAR rated 1940s cottage called "Newly Renovated Cozy Cottage 3 blocks to Downtown!" a couple miles away. We have worked hard to create a great "home away from home" in the city we love dearly and we hope you get the opportunity to visit. You're very close to everything downtown "Hendo" has to offer! Countless shops, restaurants, bars, and breweries are minutes away. The whole house is yours so you will have access to the entire home. There is a Carriage House that accommodates 2 people in the rear of the property that may be rented. If the Carriage House is rented, they will use the driveway for parking and use of the backyard. We are here if you need us but the place is yours! The bungalow is located within a quiet historic neighborhood minutes from downtown, which is full of great restaurants, breweries, and cafes. The street is very quiet, and lined with beautiful homes listed on the historic register. In the rear of the property, there is a wonderful long term renter in the carriage house. Although you can walk to town, a car is recommended in Hendersonville to get around. It is possible to also walk to the public Apple Country transit stop. Apple Country transit has routes throughout Henderson County The fireplace does not work but it looks lovely! Check out our other 2 short term rentals!
