The Muurhuusje is an authentic house located on the Vischmarkt and is built against the old city wall of Harderwijk. There is a possibility to get from the house to the top of the city wall, where there is a small sitting area. Within walking distance, you will find many restaurants, a boulevard with beach and harbor, a cozy city center with shops and restaurants. The Dolphinarium is within walking distance. From this accommodation, you can do all kinds of activities. Free parking is included with booking.

What makes this location so special is the combination of water and nature. The house is right on the beach of the Veluwemeer: ideal for swimming, paddle boarding, sailing or simply enjoying the sun with your feet in the sand. Behind the park begins the Veluwe – one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands – where you can endlessly hike, bike or participate in a wildlife excursion. Within 20 minutes you can reach Harderwijk or Elburg for a day of culture, terraces or a visit to a museum.

Historic farmhouse from 1864, centrally located between the Veluwe forests, heaths and sand drifts and the Veluwemeer the lake surrounding the new land of the polders. Enjoy the space, nature, tranquility and old fishing villages, while cities such as Zwolle, Amersfoort and Amsterdam are easily accessible. The house is equipped with every comfort and a large garden is available for the guests. We have room for 1-6 guests. We do serve an extensive and as much as possible organic breakfast.

A living room and a complete kitchen. In our bedroom with mural, there is room for two people. The house is also equipped with a shower, toilet and washing machine.

This unique home was built under architectural design and guidance. Rural location on the edge of forest and sand drift. The Veluwemeer is within cycling distance. Culture and culinary experiences are plentiful in the area. Downstairs, everything is on the ground floor. People with physical disabilities are also welcome. (Help from the host, is possible based on availability. He is a nurse) Pets are not allowed (except for service dogs). No parties! No smoking in the house.

The cottage has its own entrance and cozy garden and the possibility to store and charge your bicycles. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, stove and a Nespresso Vertuo machine (including cups) and milk frother. Everything is available to enjoy.
