Tessa is very welcoming, the charm of the place is true to the pictures on the website. The +: Tessa's advice for places to explore possible to avoid mistakes in the choice of restaurants, among others! We loved (especially daughters) there and the little touches of Tessa (water, fruit etc ...) and discover this city - The area is perfect to meet in London deviating somewhat very attractions but join the Regent's Park by walking under the sun delighted us!

We spent 3 nights at Tessa's palace, we really felt at home and she was very helpful and kind in every way. We managed to explore a bit London, she gave us great tips for lunch and breakfast and other activities around the city...we hope to come back very soon again!

I did a Photo shoot at Tessa's for the day. From the moment I met Tessa to the moment I left, I had a very pleasant experience. Tessa is a very kind, friendly, warm, and hospitable lady. She made me and my photographer feel very welcome and made sure we were comfortable, and provided the basics I needed and more. She offered full use of her home, and no space was out of bound including her own bedroom! She gave me the space I needed and was encouraging and supportive. Tessa's home is certainly an artist home with lots of character and beauty. Her neighbourhood is very pretty, quiet, and has a sense of a close knit community. The neighbours were not intrusive, even when I had to shoot some photos outside in very close proximity of their homes. I think one cannot really express in writing what a nice experience it is to stay at Tessa's. You have to stay there to truly appreciate it. I will definitely recommend Tessa's place to friends, and will be keeping in touch with Tessa. I have no doubt I'll stay there again in the future. Thank you very much Tessa for a wonderful day!

Great location, good advice from Tessa, everything easy going.

Tessa was fantastic. We had trouble getting in from our flight and Tessa stayed up late and even went as far as to come looking for us when we were trying to find her place at nearly one o'clock in the morning. She is incredibly kind, helpful, and outgoing and definitely made us feel so welcome in her wonderfully eclectic flat in good ol' Camden.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tessa's beautiful home. It was sumptuous and comfortable, and Tessa is the most graceful host: I was made to feel most welcome and in want of nothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tessa's wonderful charming apartment. A place with a lot of character in a nice, lively part of town with good connections to the rest of London. Tessa made us feel very welcome and had some great tips for quickly getting our bearings and making us feel at home: wonderful walk along canal to Primrose Hill at dusk, the Camden Food Market experience, a very niche close by breakfast place, ... and more. A great place with a strong "home feeling" - wonderful to come back to after a day exploring London with a cup of tea from the adjacent kitchen. Although on a road with traffic, we did not find that disturbing at all and slept like a log on the comfortable bed .. even without the earplugs kindly provided! The room is excellent for two, but if necessary fits three, which was great in our case with our nine year old daughter joining us. Although sharing the apartment with Tessa herself, we hardly noticed that she was there, although she was only a note on the kitchen table away in case we needed something. The bathroom upstairs fits the rest of the apartment. The standing shower in the bathtub with a shower curtain (of course with a fitting sea-shell motive) may feel a bit tight, but it is completely in style and more importantly gives a lot of lovely warm / hot water. If you appreciate character (over maybe pure functional design) we warmly recommend Tessa's place to you. It will be an unforgettable and wonderful experience. Rex, Maria and Sarah

The location of Peter's place was very convenient for our purposes, with easy access to everywhere in London we wanted to go. 24/7 access via the building concierge made for easy flexibility in arrival and departure. The accommodations were clean and spacious. If Peter was not present, he was always immediately available by phone. We would stay again if the occasion presented itself.

The main selling point here is the fantastic location.  It was great to be able to walk straight off Eurostar and take up residence in the clock tower of an iconic London landmark.  The room is well equipped with a comfortable bed, a good quality bathroom and plenty of storage.  It is quite spacious and perfectly adequate for two people for a long weekend or longer stay.  The larger flat is regularly used for pop up restaurants and events so be aware that there might be general comings and goings and the noises associated with this. Although they do not go on too late and in no way spoiled our stay.  Peter, the owner, was helpful and welcoming but unobtrusive.  Worth booking just to be able to point at the tower and say you stayed there. 

Peter is an excellent and welcoming host, good communication in the lead up to our stay and genuinely interested in us and our stay when we arrived. The guest apartment is accessed through the main house but then is completely private once you are inside - it was much more spacious than I was expecting; for this price and location you would struggle to find anything even close to comparable in a hotel. It is well kitted out with everything you might need for a short (or in fact long!) stay. This place is particularly handy if you are going onto Paris on the Eurostar as you just hop out of bed and onto the train. A great place, with a friendly host, in a great location and all with the added bonus of being in a fascinating and historic building.

This is a spectacular apartment in a beautifully converted heritage building, it is really very special. Peter was very flexible about meeting my schedule in terms of keys and luggage, and invited me to a beautiful dinner party in the flat. The location is perfect in terms of amenities, with shops and groceries in the connected terminal, and connections to transport within central London and beyond. Beautiful views of the city from the apartment.

Absolutely wonderful flat, I credibly creative with the use of space and lighting. We had an amazing time staying at Alice's, she was ki d enough to let us check in early and out late, accommodated us when we needed it most. She also left us a great little guide for london as it was our first time there and we loved all her suggestions! Would definitely go back again and I highly recommend !

Alice made me feel very welcome. The flat and the room were clean and tidy and the bath was particularly good after a day's energetic dancing! The area was quiet despite being an inner-city location. It's a really great place for a single person wanting to stay south of the river or who doesn't mind a few minutes walk to reach the tube or bus routes which then give quick access to the West End and the main tourist areas north of the Thames.

Alice is a charming and attentive host and I found everything in her home just as she described it. Alice was in the middle of a major redecorating and improvement project which I fully expected as she had warned me beforehand. Everything was, however, spotlessly clean and at no time did I have to hop over paint cans or wear a mask because of dust or fumes! My room was cosy, the bed comfortable and the bathroom "just right". I was attending a weekend training in Regents Park and proximity to frequent bus and tube services helped simplify travel. Great apartment in a lovely part of London. Room was very big and comfy with great bathroom, living room, and lovely patio. Neighborhood was close enough to walk to the sights while far enough removed to feel like you're in a real neighborhood. Alice was also a lovely host, always easy to talk to and willing to offer some great advice for getting around the city. She was able to guide me to an obscure airport at an early hour as easily as possible. Definitely recommend!

The house is very nice, located in a nice neighborhood typically English. It is about 15 minutes walk from the subway station and train Elephant & Castle. The path between the station and the house is done well, it is of a multi-cultural area and quite busy. Alice, the owner always reply to messages, and provided a kind of guide to some restaurants and area supermarkets. The house was clean and tidy. The owner needs to improve the way of communication with the guests (hospitality). Try to let people as if they were in their own home, however a bit of dialogue would be important for people to feel better in a city and country than their own.

Best ever! I will definitely come back and stay with Agri &Roger again. The flat just got everything you need. As it is described, you are guaranteed to love it. And now I'm 100% sure about it.

Roger and Agri were a big part of what made our trip to London so fantastic! They were very helpful, accomodating, and kind. The room was beautiful and just as the AirBNB pictures described. Both Roger and Agri welcomed and helped me prior to arrival by providing all relevant information on how to get from airport to their home. Upon arrival Agri showed me all one needed to know about the home, gave me tea and snacks, and became a friend. Their home and garden are lovely. You could not ask for a more tranquil environment. They have been hosting for a long time and know how to do it with style and friendliness! Transportation to Central London is easy. I would return anytime and recommend them highly.

Staying with Agri and Roger is in a beautiful lodge with a fantastic garden. The apartment is very clean and typically English. For breakfast there was a choice of cereal, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, a wide choice of spreads, as well as sausage and cheese for toast or croissants and muffins with us. The breakfast was delicious. to observe the little squirrel in the garden has sweetened the stay. We would come back.

Sheila was Fantastic! My friend and I were visiting for Dance Training, and we arrived only 20 minutes before having to leave for practice. Sheila even offered to bring us to the studio so we wouldn't have to walk. We were gone most of the time, but when we were there she was so warm and welcoming. We had access to a refreshment room, were she kept some snacks, coffee, water, and tea. Only thing was that there was a lot of traffic in and out of the house, which got noisy sometimes. Sheila apologized for the noise before we even had the chance to say anything about it, so we appreciated that. Also, it did get very cold, so don't forget some warm PJ's. Overall a fantastic experience, and we loved her! Highly recommended.

Our first airbnb experience is fabulous with Sheila's hospitality. She is nice, friendly and easy to get along with. Her house is just like a home away from home. It is lovely, warm. We love chilling out in the spacious sitting room. And you can find lots of channel on the SkyTV. She always make sure each of us is well taken care of and pay attentions on every single detail. Although breakfast is not being mentioned to be provided, she generously prepared us simple breakfast, snacks and drinks which are something extra. The room was very confortable and cleen, and we could arrived at the hour we wanted to, there is always somebody to welcome you ! A little bit far from the center of London, but very quiet and simple !

It was nice, was expecting bit more privacy and prior arrangements. But, overall it was a quite and nice place

Springer is friendly host and very prompt in replying. Check-in was smooth and room was spacious. I am surprised to find out that there is no access to the kitchen at all - I think this should be mentioned in the listing clearly. I could knock on the kitchen door but didn't want to disturb the little baby in the house. Found some long hair on the floor (so clearly not mine) - not too big of an issue for me but perhaps some hovering would be ideal. My other suggestions would be to provide a bin for the room/communal area and also provide bottled water (given that there is no access to the kitchen sink). Location wise, Gant Hill and Redbridge underground station is about 10 mins walk away and will take you to Central London in about 50 mins. WIFI was fast and bathroom was mostly clean. Overall, this place would suit you if you want a room only and your own privacy.

Springer was very welcoming and accommodating to my needs. The location is only 5 minute walk from Gants Hill tube station. The listing offers good value for money. My only minor criticism would be that the room and bathroom could be slightly cleaner.

Nice people.Privacy. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed in en-suite attic room, which was very basic. The heating, provided by portable radiator, was great in a freezing London winter, and the hostess provided an extra duvee when we asked. Thank goodness for good WiFi because there's no TV. The small bathroom is...very small, but adequate but when we stayed there the sink was blocked the whole time (check its been fixed when you book). No cooking facilities, though a kettle is provided. If you want a clean bed and a shower with privacy and reasonably close proximity to public transport (there is a parking space) and good variety of eating places, this place is worth looking at.

Well, my friend and I stayed there for 6D5N. Most of the time we went back home earlier around 6pm. But then we never see the host from the day we check in until the day we check out. We only met his wife on the first day during we check in. I not sure what's the reason but I think the host should at least meet us once during the time we stayed. He did help us to settle the water heater problem by asking someone to explain to us when he is not able to reach home on time. But the wifi always having problem. Most of the time there is no internet access. We did tell the host and he say he will check after he had reach home. But then we never heard from him about the wifi. Furthermore, I think the house location is bit far from city.

We had a very pleasant, awesome stay. For sure we love to come back. We really enjoyed our stay. ;-)

We did well with Yaz and the house.

We had a great time at Yas' place - our room and bathroom were exactly as described, and we had a lot of space available for all our stuff! Yas was very helpful and went to great lengths to ascertain that we were having a good experience; even when we didn't see each other in person he'd send me a text message to ask if everything was OK. I will definitely try to go back to his place as it is excellent if you can't spend an arm and a leg on a trip to London but still want something clean and cosy - and friendly!

Our stay at Yas was very pleasant. The room looks like as described and the bathroom is in good condition. Yas was very attentive and always asked us if everything was ok and if we need anything. In the apartment is well connected with Tfl and bus. And also a Sainsbury's just around the corner. We felt good.

Our experience as Funke's guests was amazing. The house was very clean, and we also had a mini-fridge in our room. The price was really good and it is extremely close to the central line of the tube (5 min). I would definitely recommend friends who look for a good price to stay with her, as we had a great time there.

The room is huge, and the facilities of the house are in excellent conditions. The place are reasonable clean. About 5-10 minutes from the tube station. It's pity that I don't have chance meet and talk with Funke, since I had only met her son. It's seems Funke is a busy person as well.

Funke accommodation was close to Newbury park station. It was easier for us to get connected to public transports. We loved the stay. We received a warm welcome from her daughter. Funke is kindhearted and helping host.

Funke is wow and his family is wowwwww :) The reception was fantastic.I did taste the delicious "puff puff" :). I felt at home. The room was better as it was described. The neighborhood is calm and quiet and close you can find all you can serve.

This house is perfect if you go to London to do tourism. Really is nearly of London City, 30 minuts at Underground, that it's 7 minuts walking to the house. All in the house are clean, new; the bedroom has a big bed, and a big closet too. I'll repeat this experience here very soon! The host is very kindly and nice, he'll help you in all you need. Had a great stay at Dawud's apartment. Everything was clean, and the room was very comfortable. 5 min walk to the nearest underground stop, and only 20 min to central London. The communication with Dawud was great, and I would strongly recommend staying at his house!

All right, and even better. Due to the fact that I had a car and I wanted to leave before him, Samir did no problem and left it on his driveway already before noon, just as things. There was also a problem with that to leave it the day of departure for a long time also with him (this is quite important because of the ubiquitous parking zones). It was three of us (2 + 1), and in the room would have it a bit cramped (two people I think would be quite good comfort), but at the level where we slept (ground floor), in principle, for our sole use was very large kitchen with sofa bed, where you could spend the evening in comfort when the son fell asleep. The bathroom is for the exclusive use, however, due to the fact that the door to it is the kitchen that is not super comfortable. Cleanliness - English:) Overall value for comfort very good - definitely recommend it.

A journey that allows exchanges between different cultures, very rewarding. Possibility to take the bus or walk to get to the tube (subway). This family is a golden family, I highly recommend it. They help if needed, they are very helpful and very open minded. A big huge heart.

I booked Muhammad and Rabia's place very last minute and I am so glad that I did. Communication between the both of us was spot on. He was very quick to respond to all of my questions. He was also very kind to allow me be flexible with my check in and check out time which I really appreciate. They were both there to give me a very warm welcome and that was just what I needed after my trip into town. The property itself is perfectly situated very close to the Tube station and access to buses as well. It's in a quiet residential area and within a gated (URL HIDDEN) the perfect place for a family or a large group because it has plenty of grounds on the outside and the property itself is very spacious. Very large bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. The apartment was spotless and equipped well with all my basic needs. I spent the night hopping from room to room and all of the beds are so comfortable. Muhammad and Rabia went all out to ensure that my stay was 5* and were on hand to assist when I needed it. I'm so glad that I'm the first person into their property. I highly recommend booking their place for your stay and i shall most definitely be back. Thank you both for being such great hosts.
