Come stay in our new lovely above ground basement suite. We live above with our 3 young kids and noise should be expected between 8am-11pm. This probably isn't for you if you're looking for a serene, romantic getaway. It's comfortable, A/C, has a fabulous view, is centrally located for island adventures. Located in a quiet neighborhood we are close to amenities including, 8 min walk to grocery, drug, liquor stores, restaurant and chemainus own brewery. Enjoy a night out at the chemainus theatre or cruise the downtown streets exploring world famous murals and shops. Our suite has everything you will need, open concept kitchen/living room, sofa bed in living room, 2 tv's with Netflix + Bluesky Cable, WiFi. Laundry. Air conditioning.

Fun and funky artists cottage with oceanfront, and panoramic views of Ladysmith Harbour and Woodley Range Ecological Reserve. Watch otters, seals and blue Herons as you sip your morning coffee on the covered deck. Use the 2 sit on top Kayaks and paddle board, included with your stay, to explore the harbour and the small islands across from the house. We live here and our home is compliant with the laws and bylaws for our area. There is a full kitchen and open, spacious dining and living areas.

Carriage House on the Rock is a two minute walk to Westwood Lake Park that offers world-class mountain bike trails and hiking. A cozy one bedroom carriage house that is fully appointed. A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. Walking distance to VIU, Aquatic Center, and Nanaimo Ice Center. We are centrally located but offer a quiet remote getaway.

We offer a private entrance, one private bedroom, a private bath( with shower, toilet and sink/vanity), microwave oven, fridge, eating and relaxing areas, large tv, wifi and the use of a private patio, small lawn area and barbeque. Parking is available for one regular size vehicle. No smoking or partying. No pets. Please be advised that we are not set up for infants or children so the suite is for adults only.
