Elizabeth graciously welcomed us at the front door and gave us a tour of the amenities available to us including the kitchen and common areas. The bedroom was very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed chatting with Elizabeth over morning coffee, updating us with local events. We also enjoyed our visit with Woody, Elizabeth's dog. As we plan on moving to Lancaster, we hope to stay again with Elizabeth.

I was completely happy with my stay … a great house, centrally located with a wonderful host, what's not to like? Elizabeth was fantastic about communication throughout and I felt welcome and comfortable at all times. The host has attended to every detail, which makes for a very easy stay. I really loved how central the location was, I could be downtown in just a couple minutes or get completely out of the city and on my way elsewhere just as easily. I also felt like it was a very good value, especially compared to trying to stay at a hotel in downtown Lancaster. I also enjoyed chatting with the hosts — and petting their dog! It was perfect for my needs and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Charming house inside and out, esp if you like turn-of-the-century style houses and furnishings. Elizabeth is a very friendly and warm host; we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beth was a superb host! Check in was a calm breeze and every step of our stay she was prompt with answering queries and accomodating our needs. The entire house is gorgeous, even small decorative details are delightfully well appointed. Woody's mornjng patter just added to the charm. I'll gladly stay at The Black Pearl again.

Elizabeth's place was amazing! It is very clean and parking was easy. Her and her husband (and the dog) are all very sweet!

This was our second time staying with Beth and was just as pleasant as the first. We stayed in the 2nd floor bedroom this time, and it was comfortable, cozy and private. The bed was a dream! Communication was easy and quick and Beth was flexible with our arrival time. We will return!

I am extremely picky about a place being clean and The Black Pearl lived up to my standards. I was actually surprised that it was as clean as I keep my home. The bed was very comfortable. The home was quiet. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

The Loft was absolutely lovely! We enjoyed every moment being in Lancaster thanks to our great accomodations and hostess. It is located in the heart of Lancaster just minutes away from most attractions. It is a cross of modern convenience and the clip clopping of the Amish buggies rolling down the street. Host was very accomodating with the pool too. There was a gorgeous park right at the end of their property. All in all, given the opportunity again, we will be coming right back here!

We Received a warm welcome from our host family and they were very helpful . We have been coming to the Lancaster area for 40 years . This was our first time using airb&b and it's was so great to feel like we were coming to a romantic getaway way and not a motel. It was a perfect setting and a great location.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Jennifer's place! It was close to downtown Lancaster, clean, beautifully decorated, and WOAH the bed was comfy! Jennifer was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. A truly lovely place to stay.

The Loft was a lovely place in a great location! It was decorated and stocked perfectly (with coffee fixings, some yogurt, water, butter, etc. in the fridge) and served our family (of 4) wonderfully for a three-day stay in the Lancaster area. You are close to the outlets and other activities, but you're abutting a park and farmland, so it doesn't feel at all like you're in the midst of a shopping area.

We loved staying at the Loft. It is the perfect location and a very beautifully decorated place! The beds are so comfortable and Jennifer and Dale were great hosts! There were toys and books for the kids as well as a nice park nearby. They provided a nice assortment of breakfast and dessert items, let us use their pool on all the days that we were there (which is very nice and relaxing), and were very friendly whenever we saw them. I would highly recommend staying here!

Thank you very much to Jennifer and Dale! The Loft worked out perfectly for our trip to the Lancaster area. The Loft offered all of the accommodations that we needed and all the comforts of home. It is a great location that makes visiting the many nearby towns, and even a day trip into Philadelphia, very easy. Super friendly hosts, always quick to respond to our questions. The nearby recreation park was great for leisurely evening walks. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool. We would highly recommend The Loft and would definitely stay here again!

I didn't have a chance to meet Jennifer but her loft is great! Better than expected. It had everything, like EVERYTHING, we needed and more. From breakfast items (thank you, Jennifer for the milk!) to flyers/brochures of the most touristic places to visit in Lancaster and around. We couldn't be more happier staying there. It's a beautiful, clean, charming and very comfortable place. I highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Suzanne and John's place. Beautiful home, friendly host, could not ask for more. We would recommend them as host and their home as an excellent place to stay without any hesitation whatsoever.

Suzanne and John were wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful and the space very private and quiet. There is a lovely yard, field, and stream to sit by during your stay. The neighborhood is quiet but close to a food market and other stores. Also, they met us when we arrived and were very keen to make sure all of our needs were met. We highly recommend this location and will stay again the next time we are in Lancaster.

Suzanne & John's place is stimulating to all the senses. We arrived after a long, frustrating day of driving and were overwhelmed by the beauty and uniqueness of their dwelling. The bed and room were very comfortable and the environment around the house was fun to explore. The best part was meeting and getting to know John, hear him play guitar and sing for us, and looking at Suzanne's art/pottery. Both Harry and I highly recommend their place and we hope to stay with them again!

Heidi has a great place. Even though she says in her description that she has a dog, there was no noise whatsoever! The apt is nicely furnished. A very comfortable bed! And breakfast items. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Such a great place to stay! This unit is adorable, newly renovated, extremely clean and totally private, and the bed is extremely comfortable. You have the unit all to yourself. It is in a great location on the outskirts of Lancaster, close to anything you would need and with lots of activities close by. Heidi was wonderful about making us feel comfortable and was easy to reach for any type of communication. I would say she went above and beyond what I had expected. If you want a nice, cozy, safe and private place to stay in the Lancaster area, I would recommend this highly! Thank you, Heidi!

Heidi's place was the cutest little basement apartment on the outskirts of the city. The place was very clean and Heidi was super accommodating and easy-going. It looked exactly like the pictures and she thought of everything that we could possibly need and made us feel very welcome. This is the perfect place and I would totally book it again if I'm ever in the area! :)

Extremely welcoming! It was a very pleasant stay. We ran out of ideas on activities to do in Lancaster and she had some great suggestions which made our trip so much more productive! I totally recommend this place. :)) Plus she has a very sweet cat!

Katy's home was very comfortable, welcoming and spotless. The location was perfect for our visit with our daughter at F and M and for enjoying restaurants downtown. We couldn't ask for more in our first air bnb experience. We look forward to staying at Katy's on another visit to Lancaster.

We were very comfortable. Katy is a gracious host. We were in Lancaster for a swim meet. Home is right next to F and M. Perfect for a visiting athlete's family. Great value. Walking distance to a few restaurants/pubs. Short drive into Lancaster.

This wonderful house in this wonderful neighborhood would probably be great at any season, but in spring time, it was truly glorious with all the flowering trees in bloom. Katy is the perfect host, making guests feel comfortable without being overbearing. Her suggestions on places to eat and things to do were right on. And you can walk almost everywhere from her house.

Katy's home was a peaceful place for us to land as we toured colleges in the Northeast. She graciously shared coffee and tea with us, and she was flexible about our arrival and departure times. The beds were comfortable and cozy, and the whole house was clean and inviting. The proximity to the F&M campus and other parts of Lancaster made it a perfect spot for us.

The apartment was beautiful and Gretchen was a wonderful host! She made everything so accomodating during the stay for my friend and I for an event. A nice area that's close to different food places and the Central Market, it's somewhere I would love to stay at once more.

Gretchen's place is great ! The set up is amazing and the bed was phenomenal ! Definitely a great stay and way better than a hotel. We will be back !

This was our first time using AirBnB and we were pleasantly surprised! We wanted to skip a traditional hotel because they tend to be outside of town and you have to drive everywhere - we wanted to be in walking distance of great restaurants and shops. This apartment was even better than we hoped! Check-in was convenient and easy, the entire apt. was very clean, the building was quiet, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed - basics like fresh, fluffy towels and dishes and luxuries like gourmet sugar for coffee/tea. It was an easy walk to tons of restaurants, shops, and Central Market. We had a great experience!

Gretchen accommodated us for a last minute getaway. She is a thoughtful and responsive host who showed that she cared about making sure things were just right for us. (Brought in a high chair for our toddler, dropped off a few extras for us within an hour of arrival, got Comcast on the phone immediately when we discovered an issue with the cable and got it resolved quickly.) This is a comfortable, well-appointed apartment and extremely clean. The WiFi access is shared with the other building tenants, so at times it was fine and sometimes sluggish. Otherwise you couldn't ask for a better place to stay in downtown Lancaster!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in Lancaster County, with this lovely apartment as our base. Located conveniently in the historic district, the location was ideal, to enjoy "First Friday," Lancaster's evening of late gallery and store openings. Also within easy walking distance was the wonderful farmers' market, the oldest in the USA. The interior was elegantly appointed and the rooms quiet and serene. The apartment was fully stocked - including a washer/dryer! - and the owners close at hand. Bob and Gretchen were patient and caring hosts, helping us to problem-solve when we became locked out of the apartment later on Friday evening. When we found the internet difficult to use, they intervened and the wi-fi signal became much more rapid and available. We appreciated their hospitality and their rental apartment home. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay here and Gretchen was a good host. She made sure we had everything we needed and she made some great local food recommendations. The location was great as well , everything was in walking distance. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

We loved Andrea's place! It was well decorated with unique pieces of furniture and art. It is also very clean! She has thought of everything and has taken care of all of the toiletries that you might forget (shampoo, soap, lotion, toothpaste, etc). The pantry is stocked with snack food, fruit, local Greek yogurt, juices and a delicious assortment of coffee and teas. The location is perfect and walkable to many restaurants and the downtown area. We loved it here and are happy to have found it!

Andrea's place is like a private small home. She has thought of everything! So much space and so many wonderful details that made coming back here during my trip a thing I looked forward to. Her home's style and design is so inviting and relaxing. Great stay right in the heart of the city and wonderful host (thanks for the muffins)!

Andrea is a fantastic and thoughtful host! She responded quickly to any communication, made check-in/out easy and convenient, and was super friendly and welcoming. We found the apartment to be even better than the pictures showed! It was very clean and well-decorated, had the perfect amount of space for us, and came well stocked with snacks/beverages and lots of other thoughtful little touches. The location is prime; in a quieter area of the city but still located within walking distance of center city restaurants, bars, shops, etc.

Old downtown Lancaster is a very interesting place and Andrea's place is right in the heart of it! The "room" is actually several rooms in the upstairs of the house. Very large bedroom with an ensuite half-bath, plus a full bath down the hall and a front sitting-room. There's also a porch available- though it was too cold to sit out there during our visit. Andrea welcomed us warmly and made sure we were taken care of. There's a small alcove with a coffeemaker, fridge, glasses, cups, etc, as well as some fruit, yogurt and other items. We would definitely stay there again.

Wow! Andrea's place was the nicest apartment I have stayed at with airbnb. She has impeccable taste, and is a generous host. We were welcomed with lots of useful information about Lancaster--maps, history, restaurants, etc.--and she even sent us a few video links about the area before arriving. Her home is situated a short walk from all the action in downtown Lancaster, and it is the perfect combination of privacy and availability--the unit has its own private entrance so it feels like you have the place all to yourself, but she stays right downstairs and was available for us if we wanted her to be to answer any questions about the area. The unit was decorated with incredible style, and she added the perfect welcoming touch with chocolates, snacks and coffee or tea available in the room. All in all, the best airbnb experience I've had!

My sweetie and I had a lovely stay in the charming one bedroom, 1.5 bath adjoining section of Andrea's home over Easter weekend 2017. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, well appointed, and secure. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches that Andrea provided (like local snacks and extra toiletries in case of forgotten items) and particularly enjoyed simply sitting on the balcony overlooking Andrea's garden and watching the birds in the backyard. Andrea was a gracious host and communicative throughout our booking and stay. She offered suggestions of places to visit and dine and quickly answered any questions we had. Andrea's location was ideal for our purposes and we were pleased to be able to walk to a variety of local eateries in the evenings. I'd stay with Andrea again without hesitation and am happy to recommend her place to others as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrea's place. It is very walkable to anything in downtown Lancaster. The suite was clean and the bed is very comfortable. Andrea has equipped the place with anything you could possibly need including snacks! If the weather is nice, be sure to enjoy some coffee on the porch. I hope we can stay again sometime!

This is by far our favorite Air stay! Andrea stayed up late for our 1:30am arrival and had the suite stocked with snacks, soaps, blankets and coffee for the morning. The suite was perfect for our weekend trip--easy to get to local favorites, a quick Uber ride to things a little too far to walk from, and private enough that we weren't waking up the whole home when we came in late. We absolutley would come back to Andrea's place next time we are in town!

We had an amazing stay with Elsa and Gary. Everything was so clean and they offered K cups, homemade cookies, and a refridgerator for our use. They also had toiletries set for us and plenty of towels. The bed was super comfortable and we felt at home. I would recommend their place if you are in the Lancaster area!

After having to cancel another Airbnb stay due to health reasons, it turned out that I ended up HAVING to stop on my way home from FL to NY because of my problems. We stumbled upon Elsa and Gary's home, and they took us in at the last minute. Their home is easy to find, quiet, and immaculate. Elsa makes the best chocolate chip cookies on the planet!

Elsa and Gary's place is by far the most beautiful place we've stayed through Airbnb. Their home is a Victorian masterpiece -- tastefully done both inside and out. We were in Lancaster for the Grand Prix Volleyball Tournament. Elsa & Gary's home was within walking distance to our venue, allowing for extra shut eye! Having two bedrooms and two complete living areas provided plenty of space for our daughter and a teammate, who stayed with us. Fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies were devoured by the girls, and they enjoyed the foosball table, too. Elsa & Gary were very accommodating and offered a flexible checkout convenient to the tournament schedule. I highly recommend a stay at Elsa and Gary's -- lots of room, quiet and peaceful area, beautiful home, wonderful hosts! So much better than an overpriced, cramped hotel room on a noisy highway!!

Elsa and Gary's place is an absolute gem. The house itself is beautifully decorated with lovely extras such as home cooked cookies. The location is great with Amish buggies regularly passing the front porch and the main commercial street only a short drive away. Would highly recommend this place and definitely stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Lancaster.
