  • We have stayed at other units in Chamonix but Masha’s unit has been nicely updated. The bed is super comfortable; as mentioned in her listing there is noticeable noise from above but after the first night we were used to it. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Less than 10 minute walk to Canyon Express so super convenient for us. Highly recommended!

  • This condo was great, very well directed and the king bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable with a great mattress, down comforter, and plenty of pillows. This condo is a 5 minute walk to the Canyon Lodge and is very easy access. I would definitely come again.

    Jeannie2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and tastefully decorated. And you cannot beat the location. The complex has all the amenities you could ask for.

    Irma2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is way better than I expected. Everything you need is in this place. The design and amenities are great. The TVs are very nice touches. All the amenities are just amazing. The place is also very close to canyon lodge which is a plus plus. I definitely recommend this place.

    Christine2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time, nice place and plenty of firewood.

    Kris2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Masha’s condo for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. The condo was beautiful and perfectly clean. We loved how easy it was to walk to Canyon Lodge to ski (less than 5 minutes even in ski boots!) and the accessibility to The Village as well. Check in was a breeze and we loved the local tips about where to eat and things to do around Mammoth. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to relax with a movie in the condo after a busy ski day. We would definitely recommend staying here to our friends and we hope to be back soon!

    Allison2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • The short walk to the Canyon Lodge is very convenient if you don't want to hassle with parking. The condo is clean cozy and well appointed. The rain shower after a day of skiing is worth the stay! Masha was an outstanding host with very prompt communication.

It’s an easy walk to the Village, shuttle bus and Canyon Lodge!
  • Great condo, near Mammoth Ski Resort. Unit was set up well for a family with up to 4 kids. Although you could walk, it’s really a 2 minute drive - free parking at the condo and Mammoth Ski Resort at the Canyon Lodge. The walk would be about 1/3 of a mile up a slight hill. Hot tub was 15 seconds away, which is great after a day of skiing! Fire place was great, and loved the small touches like a heater in the bathroom ceiling for those cold morning. Definitely would come back!

    Stephanie2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great. Buses to get around were easy.

    Mark2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • The condo is in a great location, very clean, has more than enough of what you need. The only downfalls for us were that the upstairs has low ceilings as we are tall people and the bed was a bit hard and watch your step on the area rugs as they are lifted on the corners so easily trip. Overall the home was perfect. Beautiful view from the upstairs bathroom as well.

    Nicole2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy place, nice and warm, fireplace kicks out a ton of heat! Kids absolutely loved the bunk beds. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

    Patrick2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Spotlessly clean and close to both the Village and Canyon. Our group of four skiers had a wonderful weekend and definitely recommend.

    Jason2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and lovely home. Tons of space. We didn’t realize the downstairs kids room has two bunk beds so there is room for 4 kids/people in there. We had everything we needed and Joan communicated clearly and quickly with us. Will definitely choose this place again.

    Heather2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay . clean, neat, fully equipped kitchen, coffee makers. Great place for family of 4. Facility has game room . Pool table, ping pong , jacuzzi and a pool . Close to village and everything else. We liked it a lot

Our extra-large, immaculately clean one bedroom condo in The Village at Mammoth has the best location in town. It is only 1 of 4 such oversized units in The Village. Overlooking the beautiful Village promenade, we are steps away from restaurants, bars, and shops. Best of all, downstairs is the Gondola to the resort. No more lugging your gear to the car, hunting for parking, & trudging for a mile to the lifts. Just park in the underground parking garage, & never use it the rest of your stay!

I am here to help locals that have been displaced and can offer rentals of over 30 days on a case by case basis. *** *** *** GIFT CARDS *** I am also offering discounted gift certificates for future visits that you can use yourself. Please note that this is in the actual "The Village Lodge" and is not simply a condo complex across the street or a couple blocks away as many others advertise... Our condo looks over the Village Promenade, covered in snow in the winter, lit up with beautiful lights and wreaths during the holidays, and decorated in the summer with green aspens and daffodils. Our interior Village view has a lot of benefits, but the best part is you are off the road, so you won't hear snow removal vehicles or buses going, like you would if you were on the street side. ***Huge 60 inch HD TV with full motion mounting to watch from any angle in the kitchen or living room ***Direct TV ***Netflix ***Dedicated 16 MBPS high-speed internet just for you (most units in the Village offer shared wifi for their guests, which results in painfully slow internet speeds) ***Updated kitchen appliances and utensils, including dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, microwave, etc. ***Granite countertops ***Gas fireplace ***Private terrace ***Additional 40-inch TV in bedroom ***Extended living area (most one-bedrooms in the Village are 100 square feet smaller) ***Ski storage locker ***King size bed in master bedroom and sleeper sofa in living room AMENITIES You are in the Village now, so expect to enjoy yourself! You are steps away from the Village heated outdoor pool and two outdoor jacuzzis (yes, even when it's snowing they are nice and warm). There is also another jacuzzi spa in our building, just an elevator ride away. *Use the gym located in our building for cardio or weights (treadmill, elliptical, bicycle, weights, etc.). *Bring the kids down to the Village promenade to play in the snow, enjoy the various games around the village, roast marshmallows around the firepits, or watch the Saturday parade with Mammoth Host "Woolly." *Catch the daytime free shuttle or the evening free trolley to get anywhere in Mammoth. *Enjoy the secure, heated underground garage to park your car and avoid shoveling it out after a big storm! CONVENIENCE Check in is super easy. No need to find a rental company office late at night to collect the keys--there is a lockbox right outside our front door. Lockbox combination, wifi passwords and a welcome email with recommendations will be emailed to you one week before arrival. Check out is a breeze, just leave your keys and parking permit on the counter before you go. Owner is available by phone, text or email 24/7 to help you with questions or give you recommendations. Includes: Food, Permits, Gear, Campsites, and Bus-Tickets! Welcome to Yosemite's most unique, popular and adventurous AirBnB listing. We (CampCrate) will obtain your wilderness permits for a 3 day trip to backpack the Pohono Trail in Yosemite's vast and untouched wilderness. Before your arrival, we will ship your backpacking gear to a UPS Store en-route to the park for pick up. After your trip, use the included, pre-paid shipping label and send it back. Please continue reading. . .
Sleeping in the backcountry, eating from a campstove, and bathing in the river; You did come here for an adventure, right? This experience does not come easily though, as this trip requires you to work for your views. You are required to hike a minimum of 12.9 miles with the provided backpacking equipment. For our more ambitious guests, we provide you the option of additional side-hikes and hidden views that add 6.2 miles to your journey. There is also free-time on your first and third day to self-explore the park at your own pace. This time can be filled with additional hikes, park tours, dining experiences, or simply relaxing beside the Merced River.
This is the summary of your trip! The full itinerary is much more detailed and includes links and specific locations. Day 1 - Arrive to Yosemite Valley. Pick up Wilderness Permit from the Wilderness Office. Set up camp in Yosemite Valley's backpacker's camp. Spend the remainder of your day hiking, dining, or relaxing by the Merced River. Day 2 - Pack up camp early in the morning. If your group is ambitious, you have a little spare time to add an extra hike in or any other activities you'd like. We like to make sure you have time to pursue the various scenery that catches your attention. After that, you make your way to Glacier Point and begin your 2-day hike. You will summit Sentinel Dome, pass through Taft Point, and hike through a remote pine forest before arriving to camp for the night. Day 3 - You will either wake up at Bridalveil Creek or Dewey Point depending on where you camped. After Dewey Point, you will cross Crocker Point and Stanford point before descending back down into Yosemite Valley, arriving at Tunnel View where your car will be parked. You will likely finish early and have most of the day remaining to pursue your own activities again. This can be an additional hike or your choice of relaxation. Day 4 - Pack up your gear, then return it to the Yosemite Valley Post Office to be returned to us for cleaning!
  • Incredibly easy way to go on a beautiful, memorable trip with everything sorted for the self guided hike. The campcrate team are very communicative and ready to help with any questions, we would definitely reccomend!

  • A fantastic experience at a beautiful place!

    Chris2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • I thoroughly recommend this experience. I came over from Australia and planned ahead for some months. I’m not a hiker so I was a little bit nervous about my abilities and the fact I was travelling by myself. Right from the start Chad and Camil were fantastic. Their communications and advise were outstanding. I was a little bit naive and very busy at home before I left, but their instructions and processes were a major relief. From getting my camp crate sent to an Airbnb I was staying at in San Fran to the equipment and food and advise they supplied it was smooth sailing and a wonderful experience.. I even came face to face with a bear...Man they can run fast (in the opposite direction thank god.... pussies). I am very impressed and grateful for Chad and Camil taking care of all the hard stuff which I could not have managed myself..... well done guys.... great concept and great service.

    Andrew2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time with CampCrate. The views were stunning, the hikes were challenging, and the food was pretty good! I just wish that we had a little more time to explore all the nooks and crannies in the area, but there is always more time to return later :)

    Kimiro2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for everything, it was amazing!

    Felipe2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time on our trip to Yosemite, thanks to Chad and the CampCrate crew. We'd initially been just searching for accommodation in or around Yosemite (as we were traveling from NY, on a moderately long trip, and didn't want to bring / have all the gear for this camping trip) and thankfully we stumbled on the CampCrate listing here. They were super communicative and thoughtful: the gear was great (though you might want to specify if you're a smaller build, for the backpacks), we had plenty of food, and the instructions / maps were clear. And beyond just our trip, they were kind enough to give us local driving tips to make sure we made it to a wedding we had to be at in time! Chad also took a last-minute call from me while were shopping and was uber friendly! And the hike that we did (the Pohono Trail) was incredible—even with our (totally harmless and kinda fun) bear encounter! We had the trail mostly to ourselves (and we were there during high season), which was really nice. And then we camped out out at Dewey Point, which my partner and I agreed was the most beautiful place either of us have ever slept at. We marveled at the sunset, hung out by our campfire, and gazed at the stars. It was magical. So book a trip with these guys! One tips: if you have specific interests or requests, let them know. Our pacing was great, and we had plenty of time to stop at viewpoints, etc, but in retrospect, we may have asked for the same hike in reverse (to do with the views / experience). The CampCrate team is very considerate / sensitive to not giving folks anything too strenuous, but if you're game, let them know! They have lots of options, so do share with them what you're into, and I'm sure they'll curate a fantastic experience. Thanks for such a memorable few days :)

  • What a fantastic trip in Yosemite. Everything was arranged perfectly: our crate was waiting at our hotel when we arrived, permits were in place, and there were very detailed instructions on what we needed to be doing at each stage. We loved the hike itself - when we got away from Yosemite Valley, we hardly saw anybody, and the views were incredible. Chad was very helpful throughout, responding quickly, and helped organise an alternative route for us given our forward plans. I would highly recommend as a way to have a real self-camp experience, with clear guidance and support throughout.

    James2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great experience for us. Picking up the high quality equipment was easy and returning it at the UPS store also. Our arrival at Yosemite was unfortunately after 5pm and so we were not able to get the wilderness permit. Out bus to Glacier Point started at 1:30pm, so we had thought that it will be a relaxed morning but everything was crowded and everything delayed. We were at Valley Lodge just in time to get the bus tickets and leave the car there. The bus drive took about 90 minutes, so our trip started at 3pm. We were able to hike 6 miles (we even had seen bears) until sunset and found a good spot near Bridalveil Creek with a firespot to camp there. The next day, the 7 miles until Tunnel View were possible for 2 of our group and just enough. But there is no Shuttle Stop. So a part of our group had to hike another 4 miles. Came ack by car after 2 hours to pick up them. It could be a good idea that someone leave the car on the first day at Tunnel View and walk back to the next Shuttle Stop without backpack. At all it was a really nice trip.

Built out of brick, our cabin is directly on Hilton Creek for your enjoyment of all four seasons. Surrounded by pure rushing water and a quaking aspen glade, this Eastern Sierra location borders on magical. See for yourself, our photos show just a glimpse!
Old cabins have an authentic feel that is tough to replicate. Seldom will you find one that is built right on the edge of a rushing creek-bed in the High Sierra. Here it is, if you were any closer you would get wet! Each season is different but summer and fall are guest favorites. Please note that during the winter (and most of spring) Yosemite National Park cannot be accessed easily from the cabin because Tioga Pass (HWY 120) is closed. The cabin is on the small side but perfect for two, three adults works too depending on your space needs. Keep in mind this is an original tiny home, before they became popular. Well behaved children can be accommodated but no pets please. We love pets, but some of our eldest family members have pet allergies and use this cabin too. If you ask to bring your pet I will just reply as stated above. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed (slightly smaller than queen sized) and heated blanket, the bathroom has a shower, and the kitchen is combined into the living room. Direct TV and wifi are available, sometimes the creek makes so much noise it is hard to hear the TV! During the colder times of year we have a wonderful wood burning stove and plenty of firewood. If you don't know how to build a fire, let us know, my wife and I are pro's. Some folks are concerned that the cabin is isolated in the middle of nowhere and that access is difficult. We live on the property, have a main house and this rental cabin in back. Our road is paved, parking is paved and its a short 25 foot walk to the front door. In the winter we will remove snow to make your life easier. The neighborhood is upscale, quiet, and safe. Although the buildings are close together the creek creates an ambiance of privacy and drowns out all sounds, this cabin faces the creek and forest -- you may as well be deep in the wilderness. Domestic water is piped in straight from the creek. It's filtered but guests should drink bottled water, we'll start you off with a gallon. Creek water is perfect for showering, cooking, brushing teeth, etc. You'll notice the difference. We have fiber optic cable internet installed to our house and backyard cabin. For those that are interested in working remotely in this beautiful setting consider this: with speeds up to 100 times faster than DSL or cable, our gigabit upload and download speeds are among the highest in the state. The kitchen includes a two burner stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, pots/pans, dishes and utensils, wine opener, garlic press, mini-fridge, etc. The living room includes a single-wide futon mattress for children or a third guest. No charge for children 12 and under, but additional adults are $25/night. 12% Mono County bed tax included in rates.
Hilton Creek is located at 7100 feet with many smaller branches of the creek flowing through the neighborhood. We're just 15 minutes from Mammoth Lakes and Mammoth Mountain. Even so you might find even more interesting side trips up Rock Creek, McGee Creek, or Convict Canyon.
  • Great spot for my wife and me! Helpful and warm hosts.

    Kai2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Falling asleep to the sound of the creek was just bliss. The aspen forest outside was so picturesque. We loved making fires in the potbelly stove and stargazing from the patio. Such a wonderfully secluded feel.

    Stephanie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely spot was originally a simple fishing cabin, built in the 1930s. The owners, John and Isabel, added a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette, with handmade counters from local trees. The wood burning stove is amazing, the bed is super comfy and there are lots of cool touches inside, including Talking Battleship! We heated the yummy turkey pot pie we picked up from Erick Schat’s Bakery in Bishop on the stove. The resident kitty, Rocky, is a doll, too. But the real draw is roaring just outside the door, with a big creek running right alongside the deck and a stand of gorgeous aspens on the opposite shore. Hop across one of the bridges and you’re in the forest! Plus, Mammoth is just 20 minutes away. Great base for exploring the Sierra in all seasons!

    Brooke2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences Ive had. The sound waking up and going to sleep to the sound of stream and the warmth of the wood burning stove was unreal. We really didn't want to leave. We will definitely be coming back for another winter experience. Thank you John and Isabel!

    Christian2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Just as advertised but better! John was super communicative and really helpful. The cabin was really clean and cozy. Perfect little place

    Nick2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing; we used it going back and forth to mammoth mountain. Super close, maybe 15 min. John & Isabel are so kind. Isabel came and introduced herself and showed us how to use the fire stove heater, showed us around a little bit and let us know they were available if we needed anything. There’s a cool little creek right out the back door, and if you wander a little further you’ll get an awesome view of the mountains. We’ll be back!

    Alexi2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is truly an amazing spot to stay at. 15 min from Mammoth 30 min from Bishop. My family and I had such a great time we were able to enjoy the views with snow and the creek was just beautiful. We loved hanging around the porch drinking coffee and exploring around the creeks. We would definitely love to come back.

    Alex2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful setting by the river looking onto the woods :) the cabin was wonderful and crazy and John had a fire going for us before we arrived!

  • Great place, cozy, very clean, perfect location. For sure a 5 stars experience. If I have to be very critical I can say that the pallet fireplace fan is a little noisy for a full night on. Otherwise everything was great

  • We have stayed in many places in Mammoth and this has by far been our favorite. Loved staying in this condo. Host is super responsive, and had very clear instructions online and printed in the room. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast. Location is everything! Didn’t have to drive anywhere and our car was safely parked in the underground garage our entire stay. Only a couple steps down to the gondola for snowboarding was a game changer, and the easy access to the village with a variety of food options. The pool and hot tub was well maintained and clean. It was nice to relax in the hot tub after a long day riding on the mountain. I was surprised to see that they allow dogs and even had a dog bed available in the closet. Will definitely consider bringing our dog next time. When we come back to mammoth, we will be seeing if this place is available for sure.

    Samantha2020-03-07T00:00:00Z

Beautiful, updated Mammoth Lakes studio loft in Mountain Shadows. Two full bathrooms, queen bed and 2 bunk beds, steps from downtown, next to the shuttle stop to Juniper Lodge. South facing with fireplace, and dog friendly.
It's a great, updated, comfortable and bright, upstairs studio loft (700 sq feet) with 2 full bathrooms and room for four adults - 2 in the bedroom loft, and 2 in the bunks downstairs.
Mountain Shadows is a wonderfully convenient location in downtown Mammoth. We are walking distance to Vons, Rafters, Rite Aid, Giovanis, Robertos, the Mogul, Looney Bean, etc. If you are new to Mammoth, go have dinner at Toomeys, by far, the best food in town. The clock tower cellar has the best whiskey selection, and John's Pizza Works, the best pie. Giovanis has the best Italian food, Side Door the best wine, and Mexican food is up for debate. I prefer Gomez. The best coffee is, by far, Black Velvet, and breakfast is great at The Stove.
  • Great condo near downtown Mammoth. We had 4 people and it was very comfortable. It got a bit hot during the night so make sure the thermostat is set on the low side. Great value compared to other listings in town

    James2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • I've been coming to Mammoth all my life. I feel as if I have stayed all around the city. Some Airbnb's are a letdown; motel 6 is well... motel 6. Jim's spot is not only right smack dab in the middle of Mammoth; it is comfy, cozy, and well-appointed. We enjoyed binging on the Formula 1 documentary on Netflix, cooking meals in the cute kitchen, and relaxing by the fire we created in the fireplace. The apartment itself is beautiful, art and photos all around, comfy couch, and great space at the table to eat and play cards. The space was super tidy, and check-in was a breeze. Jim was available if needed and made that known by checking in via messages to see if everything was going well. A couple of honorable mentions: - The coffee maker is super clutch and amazing! - The bed upstairs in the loft is a cloud. - The humidifiers are excellent for keeping the dry throats and noses at bay. I am already missing my new favorite spot to stay in my favorite city. I will be back. Thank you Jim!

    Emily2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Jim's place. it's great location, close to everything. The loft is clean and cozy, we would highly recommend his place.

  • Jim’s place is perfect and affordable. No worries, just like being at home while out on vacation.

    Cameron2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Place is awesome! Great location and really comfortable. Jim is really quick about responding. He even let us check in early. Would definitely stay again.

    Omar2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very conveniently located condo with a cabin feel to it. Equipped with a nice fireplace. Felt homey and comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. Including kitchen cookware which helped us keep the cost of staying in Mammoth lower.

Welcome to Paradise Shores, we're happy you found us! Here at Paradise Shores, we believe in reconnecting people to the simple pleasures of life in a no-frills, peaceful, camp like setting. Our Baja camper is comfortable and fun. Inspired by our love for the Mexican culture, art, and hospitality, it carries Baja vibes in its vibrant colors and original details. It offers great lake and mountain views and is ideal for a couple, but can sleep up to three.
We're a husband & wife team and this is our adopted home - a small RV Park & Campground located directly on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may invite you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation. It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a rental trailer as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lay in hammock and read for three days. For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, campfires & s'mores. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slower paced life instead. We constantly improve and update the decor in our campers in effort to make your stay more pleasant and memorable (after all, this may be your first ever RV living experience!). We hope you enjoy and appreciate some changes and finishing touches that may not have been captured in the photo gallery above. Note: Please read the entire listing description prior to booking. THE BAJA CAMPER: While spending some time in Baja during the winter of 2013, we fell in love with the Mexican culture, art and hospitality. We wanted to share this experience with our guests at Paradise Shores. So, we transformed the former Cascade trailer into Baja-themed camper. Make sure to bring some tequila to truly soak in the atmosphere! :-) Our Baja camper is comfortable, fun, and offers great views of the lake and the mountains. Even though this trailer doesn't have any slide outs, it's still pretty spacious and it carries Baja vibes in its vibrant colors and original finishing touches. It is ideal for a couple, but can sleep three people. The sleeping options consist of queen size bedroom and a pull out couch in the living area. Free WiFi internet, TV with a DVD player, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster are all provided. We left some board games at the camper for you and DVDs are available upon request at the office; we hope these will help make your evenings after the daily adventures and exploration fun and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. You’ll also find there a breakfast selection: oatmeal, breakfast bars, coffee and almond milk. Sheets, towels, and dish towels are ready for you. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered. The camper also has a cooling system, and an outside area with outdoor furniture, as well as the fireplace and barbecue for you to use. We provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining, and you can buy locally grown firewood at our office. Our rate includes space rent, propane, wifi, a parking spot as well as 12% Mono County occupancy tax (TOT).
We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here. Our camp is located 2 miles from the historic town of Bridgeport. Bridgeport is a cute little town with couple restaurants, sporting store, gift shops, bakery etc.
  • This was our first experience "glamping". Kelli was a great hostess! The location on the reservoir was beautiful! The trailer was decorated creatively. We had all the pots and pans needed to prepare meals plus breakfast amenities. We were near Bodie Ghost Town and lots of beautiful hiking trails. Overall a great stay!

    Gloria2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • I admit, I'm not usually a bright color person, but Baja's decor works so much better than photos can convey! It was a cheerful, clean, warm space. Perfectly appointed for my nine-year-old son and I, as a home base for exploring nearby Bodie, Travertine Hot Springs, and the charming town of Bridgeport (make sure to check out Snap 'n Crackle candy on Main Street -- we're still enjoying the hand-cooked spoils of our visit). Washing dishes while enjoying views of snow-dusted peaks in the distance was a real treat. We especially loved the covered patio, complete with picnic table, chiminea, grill (and firewood and charcoal, and the means to light them). Our previous family camper experiences have been disappointing in the refrigerator department -- small, won't keep frozen goods frozen -- but no worries here: it's practically full-sized, and keeps things colder than our fancy model at home!

    Jennie2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • A very charming camper. I loved the decor. The view was great as well. I found the location to be a perfect starting point, very close to town, but you are still surrounded by nature.

    Nicole2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • What a place! My husband and I were looking for an experience to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and what better place than Paradise Shores! Veronica & Alan were great hosts and their property is beautiful! They had left detailed instructions and very useful recommendationa for visitors that came in handy! The camper was very nicely done and provides us with all the amenities that we could ask for. Waking up to the beauty of the Sierra was a plus. Even our pup had a blast running around on the beach. We will definitely be back!

    Garima2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay at Paradise Shores and in the Baja trailer, and it won't be the last. Bridgeport and the surrounding area have so much to offer and are stunningly beautiful (Twin Lakes, Virginia Lakes, Mono Lake, the White Mountains, Bodie, Travertine & Buckeye Hot Springs, etc.). The Baja trailer is one of a kind with it's Mexican decor and is super comfortable, while the grounds of Pacific Shores are filled with thoughtful touches to make all guests feel taken care of. We will be back!

    Anne2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Most wonderful hospitality ever ! They were so accommodating to our change in schedule and genuinely cared about our experience. Would love to stay here again!

    Lauren2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Paradise Shores is a true gem! Our expectations were blown from the ease of checking-in to amenities to cleanliness!! the Baja rv itself was super cute, super clean and had many really thoughtful touches. The towels were fluffy and yummy. The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of extra blankets for the cold Sierra nights. We used the heater which was wonderful. All the supplies were there that we needed for cooking out. The view was spectacular. It was quiet and peaceful. The communal bathroom was also super clean and had items like cotton balls and tampons. Hairdryers were provided there as well as in the rv. I’m a total glamper so this was important. Even the outdoor communal cooking area was super clean. They maintain the property extremely well. Veronika has great communication! Charlie and Kelly, the property management were very kind and helpful. These people care and it shows. The location is awesome for exploring hot springs, mountains and the near by ghost town of Bodie. I could keep going on how wonderful this place is! We’ll be visiting again for sure! Maybe next time in another awesome camper on the property.

  • As you walk in (door code - easy access), the place has a great look to it with stylish decor. Excellent location! About 500 ft. from the front of the building (first floor) to the front entrance of Canyon Lodge. My wife kept stating how much she loved the place as the kitchen was stocked with everything she needed to cook. Anyone who cooks away from home knows how important this is and frustrating it can be when they don't have everything they are used to from their own kitchen. The electric fireplace kept the unit plenty warm in the living room. There were additional Nest thermostats that we only used in the bedroom. Netflix available on both large TV's in bedroom and living room. WIFI worked well. There were snowball makers and sleds in the closet if you have little ones. A shovel in the unit which we needed to dig our car out. Boot warmers were provided and at the entrance inside the unit. The host quickly responded to questions and/ or requests. We were greeted with a welcome text message making sure we arrived safe and if we needed anything. No wonder she is a Super Host. This will definitely be on the top of our list on our next visit.

  • Very nice place to stay. Literally steps from canyon lodge. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Will come again.

    Bryan2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is lovely and cozy little spot to be your home base while exploring Mammoth! Everything is clean and the condo is well stocked with everything you need to cook meals, hang out, and have fun! The best part of our stay was the location - truly moments to the slopes!

    Sally2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Allison’s place is walking distance to lifts. She’s a great host, gets back to you promptly if you need anything. I’ve been going to her place for 3 years now and will keep coming back.

    Ricardo2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place was awesome! The location by canyons is perfect. Easy walk to the lodge, easy ski-in access. It is very spacious - for just a couple it was more than enough - kids or another couple could have slept on the couch. This condo has everything you can think of from spices, to robes, to a humidifier, shovel - no detail was missed. Masha was an awesome host, great communicator and provided tons of info and recommendations for local places to eat. We will definitely stay again.

    Cortney2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • The unit is very clean, simple with everything you need. The location extremely convenient for Canyon Lodge. I will coma again.

  • Great location to town, shops, the mountain to ski and great walking trails. As a slightly OCD person, I very much appreciated how organized, clean and labeled everything in the condo was. Comfortable bed, lots of additional blankets and extra supplies.

    Joya2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ok, I never write reviews because honestly, few deserve one, but this one most certainly does! Great all around, everything they said it would be, great directions and instructions, plenty of space, everything incredibly organized and easy to find, just a real pleasure.

    Renae2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend for a couple traveling with a dog! We had a great stay here! The location is great for skiing, with a quick drive to Eagle Lodge and Vons and town is really convenient. Also, we loved the walking trails near the house since we had our dog with us for the trip. We ended up really enjoying our afternoon walks and taking in the beautiful scenery (especially since we didn't have a lot of fresh snow on the mountain!). The condo was very comfortable and cozy with a great fireplace to enjoy and a well-equipped kitchen for making great meals at home. Also, the hot tub and sauna was great and easy to get to. Highly recommend!

    Lauren2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at John & Hollys during ski week. John was quick to respond. The condo itself was roomy and well stocked. Had everything we needed and then some. Kids enjoyed all the games. Husband enjoyed the recliner. Great location. Can’t wait to come back!

    Julia2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Nice accomodations. Location worked for us. adequately appointed.. Pillows could stand to be upgraded. Nice hot water, fireplace. dishwasher. Reported to owner that toilet was loose. Good stay, our first time in Mammoth. Owners were very great at communication.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed in this condo for Valentines Day. It was perfect for two people, and close to everything especially the lifts to the mountain.

    Zane2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay! Exceptionally clean and well stocked with nice modern furniture and quite a few personal touches which felt like a home away from home. Excellent location a short walk to Canyon Lodge and a short drive to the village. Easy check in and very, very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at one of the host’s properties and we will definitely stay again!

  • Perfect condo with great amenities and walking distance to the sloops!

    Kaitlen2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place is great in so many ways. The location, amenities, cleanliness, easy access and overall great stay. There are minor details that make the stay even more enjoyable. The host was very responsive to our questions both before and during our stay, making the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The condo was very clean and had everything you’d ask for, with the warm fireplace, comfortable couch, functional kitchen, smart tv, nice big bed and a small patio with views, this is everything you’d ask for. We loved the fact that it was the corner unit, adding to the privacy and comfort of the stay. We look forward to staying here again.

We are 12 minutes from Mammoth Lakes, Your activities are only limited by your imagination.. You’ll love my place because it is central to all activities. It is a cozy private cabin, with great ambiance. Has a secluded, garden like front yard, with a babbling brook running through it. One RV space with water and power hook-up. Your hosts have 34 years of local knowledge at your disposal.. My place is good for all travelers furry friends included.
  • We had such a lovely time at Bobbie's little house. Such a charming cute place! And such a wonderful host! Thank you!

    Kelsi2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t pass this little house up! Away from the city but close enough to get there with a quick drive. Much more space than expected. Comfortable couch for relaxing and comfortable bed for a good night’s rest. Fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. We were surprised to find that there was a little stream running right next to the house which was a nice added touch. Check in was a breeze even though we arrived after midnight. Bobbie is an amazing host and was there to answer all our questions and show us around. Would definitely stay again!

    Morgan2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at Bobbie’s place. Bobbie was great at communicating and gave us great suggestions on places close to the home to eat and visit. The home is a short drive from Mammoth Lakes. The area is quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed hearing the small river next to the house. Definitely would stay here again!

    Jonathan2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bobbie's Little House is perfect for a couple nights stay. It's easy access to the mountains and we loved the babbling brook that runs right by the house.

    Michelle2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Bobbie’s Little House is so cozy and comfortable. It was perfect for our ski trip and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place in Mammoth! It was even really close to several hot springs. We’ll be back!

    Allison2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Little House has everything you need. Very comfortable bed, super cozy living room with dishnet TV, ok Wifi (not fast, but ok), kitchen with all the necessities, bathroom with good shower, and even a bbq and a little creek right by the house. Bobbie, the host, was very helpful, easy check-in and check-out with flexible timing, great advice on possible outings in the area. We will be back for sure (already booked).

    Jutta2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Bobbies place was great! Such a cozy air bnb. I thought I had left something behind and she even offered to mail it back to me.

    Cristina2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Bobbie’s place was exactly as she described! It was such a cozy stay. It’s about 10 minutes out of Mammoth (as mentioned in the description). It’s a lovely, quiet stay with a little creek running next to the little house. It’s also roomy for a studio! We definitely had more than enough space and there are drawers and a closet should you need it. The gas fireplace kept the place nice and warm and the water for the shower was very warm even though it was so cold out! Bobbie has tea and coffee for guests which was such a nice touch. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Bobbie!

This light and bright non-smoking condo has been remodeled from head to toe! Conveniently located in town close to shopping, restaurants and the shuttle to the mountain. This main floor unit sleeps 4 comfortably however a 5th person can squeeze in, offering a queen bed, 1 roll out twin & the couch converts to 2 twin beds. I have tried to make this unit different than the other rentals you may find with a contemporary remodel. It’s an older complex so I’ve priced it low, truly the best price!
I put personal touches in the unit that you would see in my own home. I wanted to make it a functional place to stay yet visually pleasing and a bit contemporary, I do hope you like it and want to come back again! I feel that the property offers tremendous bang for your buck and I think you will love the space! The unit is has a super convenient location area close to everything in town and the free shuttle’s a block away!! The pellet stove works with a touch of a button so no fussing with lighting firewood! I want all my guests well informed when booking so please keep in mind this is an older complex so at times you can hear neighbors upstairs walking around. If you are a light sleeper this may be an issue for you. Please keep this in mind when booking as I do not want any negative reviews due to that. I have priced this unit super competitively for that reason. I do hope you consider staying at my home. Shawn

  • Joan’s place is in a good location in Mammoth. It’s close to everything. The place itself was nice, clean, comfortable, and well stocked with amenities. Joan was also very quick to respond with anything I needed help with. I highly recommend staying here.

    Lacy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Joan’s place is wonderful, cozy and comfortable. The beds are great, lots of bed sheets, comforters and towels, super clean and spacious! Having two full bathrooms are crucial when you are a group of 5 or more, mainly with the sinks outside the bathroom. That was a plus! We had great communication, check in was a breeze and the amenities added up. The location is perfect! Look no further and have a great time!Joan is a super host! We will definitely be back!

  • A wonderful spot , 11 minutes from Mammoth Mountain and the village. Easy check in process and the home is very spacious. Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, glassware, pots, pans, etc. Vons is just 5 minutes away in case you need more food. The heater kept us warm all night and we had a blast in the hot tub ( they close at 10pm). We will definitely return for more days.

    Elizabeth2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, actual condo is super close to the hot tub and sauna within the complex which was great after long days of snowboarding. Check in and check out was as easy as it could be!

    Laura2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • This condo is so cute! It’s thougtfully decorated and well stocked with plates, cookware, extra towels and blankets, everything you could want. The wood stove kept us warm and toasty in the middle of January. It’s a great place to stay for any ski trip. I will definitely look here first for my next trip.

    Nikki2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was an amazing value!! It's on the smaller end, but for our group of 6-8 people it was comfortable, especially when considering the price! We would definitely stay here again. The kitchen had most things we needed, and it was a quick 7 minute drive to canyon lodge.

    Alan2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful condominium with thoughtful touches. Joan and her family are dog lovers, and the sweet dog bed and treats were very kind. The loft is very spacious and with a separate private bathroom that helps make the space more comfortable. The kitchen amenities are great, and we planned all of our meals around being home. Very close to Mammoth Mountain, incredibly convenient! We hope to come back to this wonderful condo soon!

Some activities include, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, skiing, live music, beer festivals, amazing restaurants and much more. After a day boarding or mountain biking we did not want to be isolated on the mountain or even two blocks away from town (feels like miles if it is cold or snowing). Here you can walk to great restaurants and pubs. Older kids and adults have the freedom to walk to the movies or Rock and Bowl. If we want to go farther, the free shuttle run every 15 minutes and will pick you up right out front of the complex. • We absolutely loved staying at Melissa’s place! It felt as if we were at a resort with all the thoughtful added touches. We will definitely be back soon. Melissa is so hospitable and awesome...we just loved her :)

    Alessandra2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and comfortable, this was a great place to stay!

    Beth2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • I loved everything about this condo! Melissa was a fantastic host. We arrived a little late and tired after being on the slopes and I was having difficulty with the punch in key pad. I texted Melissa and she responded instantly. After speaking with her I was at the wrong condo. So embarrassing! Anyhow the condo was immaculate, cozy and all the appliances were updated. The rock wall was a fun addition and the location is close to everything. I plan to stay here again on my next trip up to mammoth. Thank you for having us!

    Tiffany2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome location. Clean unit and very comfortable! I definitely recommend.

    Steve2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The villa was great. The location was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and Melissa was extremely responsive.

    Michael2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend Melissa and her Airbnb. She stays in constant communication with you to check that everything is going smoothly and has nice little touches to the space, such as heated blankets, heated bathroom floors, and free lip balm! This is very close to a red line bus stop to get to the village and the slopes. My only minor negative during my stay was that we had a previous stay's load in the dishwasher and we had to run the wash and unload prior to use for ourselves.

When you arrive we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation. It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a rental trailer as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lay in one of our hammocks and read for three days. THE CAPE CAMPER: We put a lot of love and thought into finishing this camper and now it gives us a great joy to share it with you. We took some old barn wood and built a deck with a commanding view of the lake and the whole camp. There's no pretense at the Cape Cod camper, it just feels right and everybody fits, well, at least three of you will! And there's free lemonade in the office. It’s Miller time! ;-) Our Cape camper is super comfortable & sleeps up to three people. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the living area has a day bed (twin size). Sheets, towels, kitchenware, as well as coffee maker, toaster, paper towels etc. are all provided. You’ll also find there a breakfast selection: oatmeal, breakfast bars, coffee and almond milk. Wifi internet, outdoor seating area with fire pit, barbecue and a cooling system are all part of the rental. We provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining, and you can buy locally grown firewood at our office. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered.

  • We loved our 2 nights stay in the Cape camper! I had lost my glasses on the shore and they found them. We enjoyed the bonfire with other tourists. We met Wayne strolling his cute doggies twice. Everyone was lovely and we felt a real family vibe. Also the camper is super pretty and comfy.

This is a beautiful newly remodeled large studio condo that is located in the Mountain Shadows Complex in the heart of Mammoth lakes. New kitchen, bathroom and floor to ceiling upgrades. This condo has a King bed with a memory foam mattress and a double sofa bed. Relax on the large deck with views of the trees. Walk to shops and restaurants and free shuttle is right outside the complex. Pool and spa and sauna are steps away. Parking is right outside the door and no steps. Pets on approval only.
This is a great studio that can sleep up to 4. It sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 small children, with 1 king bed and a pull out sofa bed, all with Pottery Barn Bedding and down comforters. Please keep in mind the pull out sofa bed is only a double and is most appropriate for 1 adult or 2 small children. It’s a little too small to comfortably sleep 2 adults. It is completely new with a full remodel done in August 2017. Most studios will not have space for a king bed so that makes this condo unique. Very good location in town and close to Eagle Lodge for skiing. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. Bike and walking trails are also close by. Wifi and Cable TV. Nice outside deck to enjoy the trees. There is no air condition but it is not needed in Mammoth.
Mammoth is close to Yosemite National Park, The Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is one of the best in the country with over 400 inches of snow a year. Summers are beautiful with very temporate weather. Make sure you check road conditions before traveling
  • Comfy bed, extremely clean space in a stylish comfortable condo near shops and restaurants. Great for our Mammoth weekend! It was a little drafty but they had plenty of heaters and a fire insert to keep us cozy. I loved the glass slider to check weather and enjoy the views of mountain trees.

Charming studio nestled in the pines located in a well-kept property with easy access to amenities such as the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, community BBQ, and rec room. The property is centrally located in the town of Mammoth Lakes within walking distance to restaurants, bars, bowling alley, shopping etc. A green line shuttle stop is located right out the front door that can take you directly to Eagle Lodge. This unit comfortably accommodates a couple or a small family as there is a pullout sofa.
  • Nick's place was very nice. The kitchen set up had everything that I needed as the singular guest. There were plenty of nice, fresh, fluffy towels available for the bathroom, and the whole place was clean and comfortable. I took advantage of the barbeque grill outside the unit in the courtyard and had a nice meal while in town visiting my son. Nick had plenty of information brochures on local attractions, hiking trails, places to eat, and maps of the area. The check in information was spot on with no problems getting in.

    Patrick D.2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Perfect for skiing/snowboarding/mountain biking - a place to cook and sleep! The community hot tub was a nice addition.

  • Nicks place was great. Close to the lifts and to town. It was perfect for our group. The only issue we had was the television was not working. However nick was quick to respond and even offered to come by and take a look for us. It wasn’t that important so we declined but we appreciated the offer. I would definitely stay there again. PS. The beds are super comfortable.

    Jeremiah2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Nick’s place was great for our family of four for a two day vacation. The apartment was spotless and had all the basic amenities you could think of .We had issues with the TV which Nick responded to immediately. We were very happy with the stay.

  • We had such a great time staying here! This location is only about a 10 minute buss ride on the bus from eagle lodge. So it is perfect for those snowy days when you don't want to drive. The unit was very clean and warm. Access to the hot tub was a major perk!

It is nice that it is next to the creek and open preserves as it made for great walks. It is convenient to the grocery store and great food (we really enjoyed breakfast at The Warming Hut and The Stove). The condo is clean, quiet, and comfortable and had all we needed to cook dinner there. The fireplace is great and we appreciated the firewood. Don't hesitate to book this great rental!

Over all, this was an incredible cabin experience. Thank you so much Greg! I would definitely being coming back next year!

The Mono Lake House is centrally located in the most pristine region of California. We are about 20 minutes away from the East Entrance to Yosemite(CHECK NPS WEBSITE FOR SEASONAL ROAD CLOSURES), 30 minutes from Bodie State Park, and we are literally on the shore of Mono Lake. It is an incredible property with a huge lawn to read a book on or to just watch the afternoon thunderstorms roll in. Zac, your host, will give you all the info you need to have an amazing trip in the area.
The Mono Lake House is right on the shore of Mono Lake. This provides our visitors with an amazing view of afternoon thunderstorms, bird migrations, and colorful sunsets. Room 1 is comfortable, clean, and quiet. We use only organic cotton sheets and the room has a very relaxed feel to it. We do not have televisions in any rooms because we feel like there is a lot more to see out here. Room 1 shares a shower with Room 2 however there are two bathrooms to use amongst the two rooms.
The Mono Lake House is 4 miles north of the town of Lee Vining. It is also located right on the western shore of Mono Lake. We are realistically 25 minutes from the East Entrance of Yosemite National Park. 25 minutes may seem long, but in the eastern sierra, 25 minutes is right down the street. The East Entrance of Yosemite drops you right into Tuolumne Meadows, one of the most beautiful meadows in the world. With granite domes and alpine lakes surrounding you, there is no shortage of stunning views. We are a 10 minute drive from Lundy Canyon, a beautiful, quiet canyon that is a trailhead to some great day hikes. It is also a place to spend the day fishing in Lundy Lake. We are about 35 minutes from the entrance to Bodie State Park. This is a historic mining town that has been very well preserved and is a very popular place to spend the day when the High Sierra is not ideal. Panum Crater is 20 minutes south of us and is a geologic wonder as well as the Mono/Inyo Craters. June Lake is right across the street from those Craters and is a really special place to jump in a crystal clear lake and then enjoy a beer at the June Lake Brewery afterwards. Ultimately, if you like the outdoors, our neighborhood is paradise.
  • Zachary has a lovely place and made us feel at home His home is beautiful with an exceptional view If I ever had to go back to Yosemite, I would want to stay at his place again

    Marie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Zachary's place was absolutely spectacular! He has a wrap around driveway with plenty of space to park your vehicle. When he arrived he provided a quick tour with pertinent information. When we arrived back to the house, Zachary had a cozy and warm fire going. That night spent was better than expected! His beds have electric heated blankets, so being warm was not an issue. In fact, I had such an amazing night spent that I bought an electric heated blanket for myself at home. There is slight noise from cars passing, which didn't bother or wake us up once, however if you are a light sleeper I would suggest to bring ear plugs. When we woke up Zachary had a beautiful breakfast set up that was delicious and healthy! He had options of coffee or tea, which were both delicious. In fact, my mom declared Zach's coffee was the best she has had, she talked about it on the whole car ride home! Zachary's place is literally on the water/ Mono lake! It's close to hiking trails, hot springs, and more! We hit a few hiking trails near by and Travertine Hot Spring. Loved Zach's place, hope to be back soon! p.s. Bodie, his wonderful dog, is very well behaved. Let him out the back door to see him run in the cutest way ever!

    Jessica2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Zach’s place is beautifully & thoughtfully designed & the views of the lake from the house are absolutely picturesque. Zach was wonderful & offered great tips for the places we were going to visit. The sweet little dog who lives at the house was an awesome bonus :)

    Brittany2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Zach's house, super cozy, warm, clean, stylish, Zach's a cool dude, it was definitely one of the better airbnb's I've stayed at. Hope to stay again next time we're in the area :)

    Ben2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stop over with Zach. The room was very comfortable and the communal areas of the house are stylish with great views of Mono Lake. We were provided with a lovely breakfast and coffee prior to heading on with our trip. Zach and Brodie were the perfect hosts and we can't recommend a stay here highly enough!

    Fran And Niall2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful like home on Mono Lake with a nice outdoor patio facing the lake. The interior is spotless and tastefully decorated. A cozy fire facing the entrance and the lounge was a great place to relax. The breakfast was of good quality and quantity and beautifully laid out in the kitchen.

    John2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • It's an awesome, super clean and cozy place in a beautiful location. Just keep in mind that you won't have a kitchen there and that a breakfast is provided by Zachary.

    Silas2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Nothing else in the Lee Vining area compares to Zach’s location, beautiful home, and hospitality. Zach is charming, generous and extremely knowledgeable about the Sierra and many other parts of the world - make sure to ask him about his adventures in Patagonia. Mono Lake has always been a place of peace, and guests can enjoy that peace both in Zach’s home and on his lawns gazing at the lake or at the stars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at his home.

Come stay in the peace & quiet of our rural, custom-built, eco-friendly guesthouse with fully equipped kitchen, extra-large bedroom (king & full bed), living room, and full bathroom. Due to COVID-19, we can only accommodate travelers who can stay for min of 30 days until 4/30 but we are offering a 48% off rate upon booking. Enjoy wood burning stove, creek, one acre property, & mountain views from a private deck w/ BBQ. We’re a certified California Green Business and Eastside Pollinator Gardener.
Our rural guesthouse was built by Joey and is extremely nice with custom cherry wood cabinets, hand scraped hardwood oak floors, beautiful tile work, ceiling fans, double-paned windows and Jamie's loving touches throughout. Hospitality is our gift and honor. We are eco-minded and truly appreciate guests who help us recycle and conserve natural resources. There is a full kitchen, woodburning stove, living room, extra large bedroom, full bathroom, and private outdoor deck with BBQ. The kitchen has a full-size stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator and includes cookware, plate ware, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, blender, etc. The bathroom has tub and shower, and custom tile work. The bedroom is extra large with a king bed, two nightstands, table for your luggage and dresser. The other side of the bedroom has the full bed, one nightstand, bookshelf and rocker (for those will wee little ones). We have a bamboo screen available should you want more privacy in the bedroom. There is a leather couch in the living room and extra blankets. We have a radiant heating floor system, which is why we cannot allow for pets. The wood burning stove and electric radiator heater in the bedroom create a cozy environment. We've taken care to add amenities to make your stay more enjoyable such as basic spices, butter, olive oil, coffee, sugar and organic loose leaf tea from Oshala Farms (run by Jamie's cousin's Elise Higley in southern Oregon) to drink from pottery that Jamie has thrown (available for sale). We provide canvas shopping bags, backpack, sleds, local growlers and firewood. Guests may only have campfires in our presence. There will be no campfires in wind or red flag days. Period. California fires are real. In fact, the entire state of California just declared they have the right to turn off power within hours notice in the event of coinciding wind event and extreme fire danger. This is only a possibility. In the event this happens, we will provide bottled water, propane for BBQ or campstove, LED candles, block of ice for the refrigerator and board games. We have a landline for emergencies. This guesthouse is very near the John Muir Wilderness in the small town of Crowley Lake, where our only restaurant, Toms Place, closes at 8pm. Deer and bear come through our neighborhood so please clean out any food from your car when you arrive and bring inside the house. As per Mono County law for nightly rentals, as hosts we must live on the property, which we do but there is no shared wall, so we both have privacy. There will be no daily maid service. We are strict about our no smoking and no pet policy. Thanks for understanding.
Crowley Lake is a peaceful town of about 700 residents. The 13,000+foot Eastern Sierra provide the backdrop to the west and the land, and basin and White Mountains are to the east. If you forget something, there's a country store about a mile away that opens at 6am and closes at 8pm. If you go, make sure you tell her we sent you there for a fresh HOMEMADE pastries, sandwiches, breakfast burritos or pizza. Toms Place is the closest restaurant at five miles away and closes at 8pm. If you arrive late and have not eaten, you will need to drive to Mammoth Lakes for an open restaurant or store, which is 20 minutes away, weather permitting.

  • Jamie and Joey, We wanted to reach out and say how much we enjoyed the Sweet Water Hideaway. The cabin feel and cozy personality of sweet water hideaway is something that we were so excited to find. The morning views from your place are breathtaking! You both made it so easy for us all to feel right at home! Thank you again, and we hope to return again when the weather gets warm.

  • Outstanding value for the money, the Sweetwater guest house was the perfect place for our stay. Clean, cozy and well located, we couldn’t have asked for more during our stay at Mammoth Lakes. Jamie and Joey were gracious and generous hosts, who were super responsive to questions, etc., and keen to share their love for and knowledge about the eastern Sierra. Would love to go back and stay with them again if I have the chance to return to Mammoth.

  • As a first time backpacker (and went solo!) this was incredibly well thought out and put together. Chad and his team have the itinerary down 100%. The gear was clean and in great condition and the trip was LIFE CHANGING. Hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life, looking forward to booking another trip, ASAP! Thank you, Chad and team CampCrate!!!

    Emily2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Chad and his team made our trip pretty smooth. Everyone on the team responds very quickly to messages which super important when comes to trips like this one. Yosemite is an incredible place to be. The views are incredible, the air smells of pine and there is almost no reception so you can really detox from electronics and simply enjoy nature. The gear CapmCrate provided was perfect for our overnight hike on Pohono Trail. Very light tent, sleeping bags and camp stove - all easy to set up and use. The only advice I have for future hikers is to invest in walking sticks. Getting down from Pohono Trail is much, much easier with them. On our hike, we saw the most incredible views from Taft Point and Dewy Point. My sister and nephew even got to see a mama bear with two cubs. This was definitely an adventure we'll remember for a long time.

    Dana2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Backpacking through Yosemite with campCrate was the best experience of our entire trip! CampCrate helped with everything and were quick at answering all our questions. We got the gear sent to a location on our way to Yosemite and everything was in good quality and ready to pack. There were also an itinerary, map and personal note that explained what we needed to know. The hike itself was amazing and so peaceful to get away from Yosemite Valley and into the backcountry. We were all very excited about the trip and definitely want to do something similar again ⛰

    Simon2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a super time, made possible by the excellent service offered by camp-crate. Camping at Dewey Point was stunning. My son has said that it was the highlight of his trip around California. I would really recommend continuing to that point before setting up camp. We did struggle a little bit trying to find everything when we first arrived, mainly because we arrived late. The traffic around the village was really bad and the shuttle buses were often late and full, so getting around was difficult. It would have been better, if we had set off from San Francisco sooner to get to Yosemite earlier. The hike was a bit more strenuous than we had expected, walking with full packs, in the heat of the afternoon. My teenage son and daughter definitely coped better than me, perhaps with youth on their side. Overall, though, it was an incredible experience, very well organised by Camp Crate

    Susan2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing experience for a good value! We were first time backpackers, so it was great to have all of the logistics and gear handled for us. Highly recommend!!

    Conrad2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fabulous way to enjoy Yosemite and camping especially when you don’t have access to camp gear when coming from abroad.

    Daria2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is truely an amzing experience! We are form the Netherlands and we didn’t quite know what to expect, but the gear, the communication and especially the trail itself, everything was perfect! For those not used to hiking the 2nd day is a bit tiring, but certainly doable. It was one of those experiences we will never forget! Don’t hesitate, TAKE THIS TRIP! 😊

    Roy2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic way to enjoy Yosemite. Everything is accounted for and the gear pick up was painless. Great hike, with exceptional views. We saw both bears and snakes!

I purchased this unit in 2017, I have remodeled this property completely! It is one of my favorites of my rentals. The space is open and decorated in a fun and funky way yet still has a bit of a rustic feel. I love staying here with my family. I hope you love it as much as I do!!
This is a 1 bedroom on the main level with a queen bed has a private bath and sliders to the balcony. The second level is an open loft space with a queen bed and 2 bunk beds. There is an additional large bathroom for the loft as well. Mammoth Lakes Business License and TOT # 7646
The condo is centrally located within walking distance to Rite Aid, amazing restaurants and the grocery store. We are a block away from the Red Line Trolley that will take you all over Mammoth and to the Mountain to ski, hike or bike.
  • This place is awesome! Great bang for your buck! Would highly recommend staying here, thanks again for all the hospitality Shawn! Don’t pass this place up if you have the chance

  • great location first of all! cool little condo/apartment style space with a couple minute walk to the lifts! the pull out couch isn't really comfortable id recommend an air mattress or sleeping on the couch instead of pulling it out. otherwise everything was awesome.

  • Great food across the street, great location and very clean home.

    Renee2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Therese’s place for the most part was excellent. Location can’t be beat in front of Canyon lifts. Condo was clean. Hot tub was great. Communication with Therese and Joe was excellent. Pet friendly! Only thing for us was the noise from the upstairs neighbors. If you are a light sleeper and the neighbors are up late, be prepared for a long night. Great value otherwise. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything!

  • This place is amazing! Right in the heart of everything and the place is clean, safe, quiet and had everything we needed. Very fast internet and it was great having a kitchen for cooking when the weather was bad. It snowed a few feet over night and the staff in the complex was out using snow blowers first thing in the morning. Couldn't recommend it more and will definitely try to stay here again. Host was very responsive and helpful. Stop browsing and book this place (unless we're looking at the same dates...).

  • We stayed at Anja’s place for two nights. We had a great time visiting Yosemite. The kitchen was very well equipped, the living room and the bedroom were very cozy. The bed was comfortable. Nice touches were the games and the Alexa music box. We didn’t use the fireplace and the buildings hot tub. The only thing that we missed was coffee and tea, but that was quickly solved because there was a very nice grocery store (Vons) just around the corner. We highly recommend Anja’s place.

Come stay a while in our updated cozy condo! You'll be close to all the awesomeness Mammoth has to offer! Our fully appointed Studio + Loft (with two full bathrooms) condo is super-comfy and loaded with all the conveniences of home.
We are located on the second floor with no downstairs or upstairs neighbors. So no need to worry about walking like a stealthy ninja to avoid disturbing those below. The gondola at Canyon Lodge provides gorgeous 360 degree views as it takes you effortlessly to the Village! Mammoth's public transportation system is A++! You could park your vehicle upon arrival and not need it again until your departure!
  • Perfect in every way. But, that's what is expected of a place in Mammoth, and Sara & Juan’s place is exactly that.

    Lawrence2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place, with good access to Canyon Lodge (five minute walk away). Sara and Juan were gracious hosts and were very quick to respond to our questions prior to arrival.

  • Perfect place for a ski weekend. Easy access to everything. Clean spacious place. Nothing fancy but if you are there to ski, you don’t need more. Hosts run a tight ship and are very responsive. Highly recommend.

    Benjamin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and central to everything in Mammouth Lakes. Beautiful natural light comes through the windows. We have a large truck and it just fit in the covered parking stall. I don't have a problem with this (I like waking up early) but the early morning sun shines very bright in the upstairs and I don't think it would be ideal for everyone (light sleepers/night shift workers). My boyfriend is light sensitive and had dificutly sleeping. Again, I give this place 5 stars!! Just want future guests to be prepared with eye masks.

    Rebecca2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • All in all this place is great! Location, comfort, cleanliness and available amenities were all exceptional. Will stay again soon

  • Sara and Juan’s condo was perfect for our Family. We have a 7 years old daughter. The location is great, 10 mins walk to the lifts, close to the Village. The condo was super clean with nothing to worry about. Extra pillows, sheets, blankets,... We loved the fire place that makes the thing even more cozy and warmer. Sara and Juan are super responsive but we doubt you will need to ask them anything. Everything was very well explained with a very easy check-in. For sure we will come back to Mammoth and will ask Sara and Juan’s if their condo is available. Really recommend that place!!!!

  • It was our first time in Mammoth and we loved staying here! It was closer to the Ski Resort (specifically Canyon Lodge) than we expected - probably less than a 3 minute drive. Everything you needed was available like appliances (rice cooker, toaster oven, and toaster). Grocery stores and places to eat are close-by.

    Marigolde2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • John-Paul’s place was perfect for a 4 night trip with 7 of us. It was spacious enough where we weren’t on top of each other and we each had our own bed. The location was great as well, it was a quick trip or short walk to the slopes. You’ll be happy here for your next trip.

★★★★★! Fully updated private mountain home steps from Eagle Lodge (20 min walk) or FREE green line shuttle out your door is 2 short stops to the slopes. 3 full baths, 3 levels, & 3 separate bedroom areas (2Br + 3rd Loft Br.) Sleeps 7 in luxury, 8 Ok. Cable WIFI. Either Roku/Firesticks on all 4 HDTVs. Easy to bring in your gear: convenient parking directly outside (no crazy underground parking and stairs!) Wood burning fireplace. Bring your swimsuit for the relaxing outdoor hot tub jacuzzi.
2 Bedroom + 3rd Loft Bedroom, 3 Bath with shuttle stop #50 literally right out the door (runs in winter) and always a short 650m walk to Eagle Lodge (20 minutes). Across the street from the beautiful Sierra Star golf course. Recently remodeled private townhome among the trees. The townhome is clean and fresh with modern amenities, but keeps a homey mountain feel. We just put in streaming amazon fire sticks on all 4 HDTVs and linked up Netflix and Amazon Prime for your viewing pleasure. The first level has a mudroom entry, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master has a king bed, 40" flat screen HDTV, and its own new designer copper slate and granite bathroom. The other downstairs guest room has a queen bed, large 32" flatscreen TV, and its own remodeled bath access with custom mammoth mirror by a local artist. The middle level features dining for 8, remodeled full bath, remodeled kitchen with granite and stainless. Plus, there is a cozy living room with wood burning fireplace/woodstove, and a balcony among the trees. We ordered a cord of firewood, so plenty of freshly cut wood is provided FREE for your use (until it runs out!, then just let us know and we'll order more.) Finally the top, private loft has custom log furniture that features one queen bed, one twin bed and one hidden additional twin mattress (***no sheets included for 8th guest***) that is stored under the queen. A large 32" flatscreen with 2 older game systems (a wii and gamecube) keep the upper occupants entertained. Easily sleeps 7 adults (8 ok, not ideal: last person gets the extra twin mattress that we keep under the queen without sheets!) Ideal for 2 families where the kids get their own loft oasis while the parents enjoy the privacy of the first floor. Parking for 2 cars is conveniently right outside the home, no lugging up your things through interior hallways from far away parking! Beware of illegal rentals. The town's 14% TOT tax is completely included for you. Business Certificate # 7957.
Your townhome luxury retreat is among the trees. Walk a bit down to the meadow and spot a deer, or up to the amazing million dollar views at the bluff to enjoy a swing on the provided bench (in summer!). It's Mammoth. Once you go on Main St., Old Mammoth, Minaret and Meridian, you're a local!! Whether it's your first time or you're a regular, Mammoth Lakes has a ton of winter and summer activities to satisfy everyone in your group. When summer is here, enjoy amazing biking and hiking trails and explore all the beauty of 50+ lakes in the immediate area. The condo is a great home base to leave your stuff while exploring Yosemite, Inyo, and the rest of the Sierra. We generally come back here for a day or so when we're done camping in French Camp, or Yosemite and after getting muddy and sweaty on the bike trails, a hot shower feels great. And the golf course is nearby to the condo so there's no excuse for not hitting a bucket of balls or a quick 18.
  • Great location. We appreciated the clear directions from check-in and during the stay. All questions we had were pretty much spelled out from the get-go. Clean house and perfect for our winter family get away.

  • My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Olga's place in Mammoth. The place had almost everything we needed. The fireplace was easy to use and it made the second and third floor very warm. The hottub/sauna is like a minute away from the cabin and we were able to find a less busy time to enjoy on our own. Overall it was amazing experience.

  • Me & my Family truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! Everything went well from arrival to our departure. They have about everything that’s needed inside the cabin and of course if any questions came up, Olga & Geoff were quick to respond. Management on site is easy to reach as well and super helpful & nice. We will definitely be back next year ☺️!
