If you like peace and quiet and want to spend a holiday close to nature, this is the perfect location for you. Our cottage is located in the old village of Petkum, near the ferry jetty to Ditzum.From here you can enjoy the vastness of East Frisia on both sides of the Ems - whether on foot or by bike or while fishing on one of the many canals (with guest card) or watching the wild geese. Emden also has plenty to offer culturally (Kunsthalle, Landesmuseum, ...).

My place is close to Papenburg( Meyerwerft) and Leer with its beautiful historic old town. Because there are always negative reviews left about the location. The accommodation is BETWEEN Papenburg and Leer. Both are about 12 km away. Shopping facilities are abundant in the village. Nearby is the amusement park on the Emsdeich, where you can swim well in summer. My place is good for couples and business travelers. Private entrance.

The apartment is part of a house, but separated and has its own entrance. It is located on the back, quiet upper floor of the house. The apartment is accessible via a staircase that does not have a handrail!
