Cheryl was such a welcoming hostess and the farmhouse is stunning. The home is warm and inviting, and Cheryl made us feel at home right away. She was quick to offer us helpful directions to the grocery store and even offered to give us some bread and cheese to save us the drive to the village! She was easily reachable and gave us the most helpful directions. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and inviting stay. We will most definitely be back!!

Cheryl was absolutely brilliant and this is a wonderful, wonderful place to stay. I needed some down time for a couple of days, and decided that a farm house retreat was the way to go. Initially, I did;t think I'd have a car, and I let Cheryl know. She was incredibly accomodating and offered lifts and provided bus time tables and so forth. Eventually I decided to just rent one and it was a good idea since it made visiting the surrounding towns and local coffee shop easy. The apartment is fantastic. It's warm (there were snow storms while I was there), comfortable and cosy but also feels like something from decades ago. It feels rustic and old school in very pleasant ways. The bathroom is great and kitchen well equipped. There's a lot of light and space. The surrounding area is beautiful. Cherry will be as present or hands off as you need. She offered to walk with me through the woods when I asked about doing that, but when I decided to go it alone, she was very cool and didn't even raise my request. I really appreciate her non-in your face attentiveness, if that makes sense. All in all, this was a great stay and I hope to do it again next year, for longer though.

Was just as described. Peaceful farm with beautiful flower gardens and cozy decorating inside.. Think antiques and handmade quilts! Very personable hosts...shared some garden fresh produce. Also helpful with finding restaurants and points of interest.

Duncan and Jill were everything we could have asked for in the perfect hosts. This was the first time we'd ever used Air BnB, and this experience at Duncan and Jill's gave us every reason to do this more! Their home is absolutely beautiful and welcoming and they have obviously put great thought into how best to meet the needs of their guests. The bedroom and guest bathroom are equipped with all sorts of things that made our stay very pleasant. We had a wonderful stay at Stephen and Shelley's place! They were very friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, they had a fire going outside and their two adorable little dogs were there to greet us :) We felt at home from the moment we arrived, and if we didn't already make dinner reservations, I'm sure we would've had a fantastic time chatting through the evening! We woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon cooking for breakfast and were treated to a delicious meal before we got on the road. We would DEFINITELY go back to Stephen and Shelley's place and we highly recommend it as a relaxing, welcoming home away from home!

Tanya was an excellent host. She and Cody are an adorable couple, and their cat, Nala, is affectionate and welcoming, too! The bedroom and bathroom were absolutely immaculate, with a full basket of towels and lots of closet and storage space in the room. Hosts' bedroom is on the same floor as guest room, but this is no problem at all. I felt like I had absolutely all the privacy I needed. Terrific, easy stay!

Myself, my husband, and two of our friends recently stayed in Catherine's beautiful home while in town for a wedding. The home itself was beautiful; it was spacious, well-appointed, clean, and very homely. The property spans several acres, and has gorgeous views and lovely trails to walk or run. Catherine was incredibly gracious and made us feel welcome during our stay. She made the whole process easy to coordinate, and was accommodating to our check-in/out times and our odd hours given the wedding festivities. The breakfast was also a thoughtful (and delicious!) touch to the memorable stay. We can't rave enough about how impressed we were by our experience, and by how lovely a host Catherine was! Catherine is a wonderful host. Myself and three guests enjoyed a fantastic stay at Catherine's, even though it was only one night it felt like an entire holiday. Her house is beautiful, clean, well appointed and beyond welcoming, and we were lucky enough to be able to take a long walk around the property and get the full experience of the post-harvest fields and spectacular autumn leaves. Catherine was more than accommodating during our stay and leading up to it, with timely and helpful communication, and no delay in responding to our messages. We did a double dip at Catherine's home, arriving to visit our daughter at Waterloo and then touring around Ontario for a few days before ending up back with Catherine. She made the whole process simple to arrange and made us as welcome as if we were at our own home (only better).

Our stay at Catherine's home was lovely. Her home and property are beautiful - truly a getaway. We wish we could have stayed longer! All of her animals were very friendly as well. The rooms and washrooms are large and comfortable. She was very accommodating with our check-in time and easy to communicate with.

Catherine's home is even more beautiful than the photos and provides a quiet relaxing setting (acres of land with forests and fields to walk) yet you can get to University of Waterloo or downtown 20 minutes most of the time. We loved the friendly attention of her chocolate lab "Mocha". The accommodations were spacious and elegant, the breakfast was fresh and delicious and Catherine was a gracious host who communicated well and could not have been more welcoming.

Catherine was extremely flexible and accommodating upon check-in as we proved unable to be very specific about our arrival time. Also, we returned to the apartment after our other activities very late with no problems. Catherine provided a breakfast to feed the very hungry and it was delicious. The apartment is outstandingly beautiful, clean and elegant.

We had a lovely stay at Catherine's place. She is a lovely hostess and took the time at check-in to walk us around the property, introduce us to her two beautiful horses, and show us through her gorgeous home. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh baked scones, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, sliced cheese and deli meat. The property is very peaceful with gentle rolling hills, farmland and forest. A morning walk with a visit to the horses is a treat. I would certainly return here again.

It's such a nice and friendly home in Waterloo. Very clean and comfortable. Liang hui is a very kind host, we feel like stay home. She always provide help to us at anytime we needed. We will go back again next time we visit Waterloo.

This house is a good place to live for a few days in Waterloo area. The house is pretty new, and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. They have queen size bed for tenants, a desk, and free WiFi (muuuuch better than hotel). Considering the price, I highly recommend here than any hotel.

Asad and Humna have an ideal basement suite for visitors to Waterloo. The suite is brand new and nestled in a quiet new residential development. Being only 10-12 minutes from the University of Waterloo, it was the perfect place for my son and I to stay when coming to visit U Waterloo. Asad is a kind and informative host, giving us plenty of tips where to go to eat and explore. The suite has everything we would have needed to stay for an extended time, but we stayed just one night. Thanks Asad, for accommodating our last-minute request! I've already let my friends and colleagues know what a great place you have for visitors to Waterloo. I'll see you next time for sure :-)

Asad's place was immaculately clean and very comfortable with new furnishings and fixtures. It is a furnished basement with private access from the side of the house. You do hear some "family noises" from upstairs, but I keep fairly standard hours, and it wasn't an issue at all. The neighborhood is new, and would require a car, but there is parking in the driveway and grocery stores, etc. within a 5-10 min drive, and on the way to the subdivision. Asad was excellent with communicating and very responsive. I'll be booking again!

I booked this for my father who was in Kitchener for a meeting. Asad was lovely and left a key for my dad to check in a little earlier. The space was nice and perfect for him to relax before driving back the next day!

It was a very pleasant experience staying at Lianghui's. She was extremely welcoming and friendly. Very clean house in a newly developed neighbourhood. Location is not the prime, but if you have a car, there's no issue getting around. Would highly recommend!

Very friendly host

Such a nice house. I ordered two rooms the twin beds and the queen bed both rooms are very nice and clean with room. Suggestions if you're going out is to bring your own mini mirrors as the mirrors in the rooms are in places where the light doesn't hit the room as well. Nice big bathroom with a shower (I did not use the shower) each room comes with a desk and the beds are very comfy I would suggest bringing your own pillow if you don't like being so close to the bed, my neck hurt a bit in the morning. Overall it's a really pretty house in a brand new quiet neighbourhood with a mini plaza a couple KM away. Would definitely recommend staying here. Make sure you read for the security deposit though I did not and had to go to the bank. Besides that i have no complaints

Absolutely amazing! The two of them are incredibly welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic, and just simply great people. My stay was very comfortable and clean. They definitely went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and felt comfortable for the night. Location was easy to get to and closer to everything (specifically the Universities) than I expected. Would book this in a heartbeat again if needed.

Thelma and John were every accommodating of my same-day booking, and we're available to check me in late at night. Thelma was very enthusiastic, and their property was absolutely beautiful. The basement is fully finished, enormous, luxurious, and clean as a whistle. Best of all, the space was all to myself. I was only there for eight hrs overnight on my way to the country but I would like to stay longer in the future. Although this place is not in the heart of KW, it is worth the detour if you're looking for a comfortable and upscale air bnb in the region.

A lovely house with private area on third floor with three bedrooms and shower/tiolet. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Living area and kitchen area were shared. Although we were welcome to use facilities we felt a little awkward when the family were also using them. It was great accommodation and very reasonably priced for our stay to watch our son play softball in the region.

Liem's family welcomed us with open arms, and we're very friendly. They offered us bottled water too! Everything was clean, exacrtly as described

We have the privacy of entire floor with three spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. Liem's house was clean and we were able to use the kirltchen. They had everything you need for cooking. Liem's family is an excellent host..They are humble and honest folks.

Ayata's place was comfortable to stay in, the kitchen was well stocked and the area itself was a quiet place suitable for studying.

Ayata's room is comfortable, clean, and spacious, the private bathroom is nice, but if it is damp outside, the frequent cycling of the sump pump in the room may encourage the use of earplugs to sleep.

Great value, great location

If you are looking for a budget place with kitchenette, you've found the right place! The stairs are wooden, narrow and a bit tricky to negotiate especially when wet or snowy outside. It is a basement unit so be sure to ask for extra blankets if you tend to get cold! That said, my hosts were quick to shovel the driveway, and even cleaned snow off my car for me one morning. There isn't a TV in the unit, but you can easily hear the one playing upstairs.

This place is really great if you want a spacious area with all the amenities you need. It felt like having my own apartment it had everything I needed for my stay. I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was a comfortable stay. Ayata was very prompt at responding to any requests. The space is a quite large basement suite that is close to public transportation and a grocery store. It had all I needed for a long stay.
