Fantastic house, well located. Amazing hosts who couldn't do enough to help. Tania and her family had thought of absolutely everything. Whatever I wanted I could find in the house. The lovely touches and thoughtfulness of tea, coffee, milk and bread and a beautiful gift basket of nibbles was very much appreciated. Could not recommend this host more highly. Will most certainly be staying again and look forward to staying in her other houses. Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Rachel was a very nice host. It was the perfect place for our stop over on our way from Sydney to Melbourne with 2 young kids. We really appreciated the good quality products and snacks/breakfast provided for us. Will happily stay next time we are in Wagga.

Rachel greeted us on arrival which was lovely, the pictures and description are accurate but what it doesnt tell you is how homely Rachel has made the apartment. Super comfortable and loved all the little extra details she has covered such as the breakfast items, (chocolate, bread!), DVD's.

We stayed at Rachel and Rob's place for 1 night while in Wagga for a friend's wedding. The apartment was exactly as described on the listing and we absolutely loved it! Gorgeous apartment, beautiful scenic surroundings and lovely hosts. Rachel and Rob were very helpful and friendly - making it a pleasure to stay at their place. The apartment is seperate to the main house but Rachel and Rob are just a text/ door knock away. There was also goodies for a yummy breakfast, including bread, condiments, cereal, fruit, tea and coffee. 100% recommend this place for a stay in Wagga. We would love to stay again (hopefully for longer this time!). Thanks Rachel and Rob! :)

I had a lovely stay at Sue's place. It has got it all – it is charming, comfortable and clean. It’s in a great location also - on a lovely quiet street surrounded by period homes, but only a short walk to the centre of town and the train station. Both Sue and her husband were wonderful hosts. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived at their doorstep. I felt like I was visiting friends. The city of Wagga , was also a little revelation. All you need to do is go walking or cycling around town and you will come across some lovely points of interest - gardens, river walks, historical buildings. Sadly I missed out on the local Rodeo that was scheduled for the day I left town. Perhaps next time. Thank you Sue and Roy

We stayed at Sue's for one night on the way from Melbourne to Sydney. The place was sparkling clean and super comfortable. There is a lovely garden at the front of the property and private verandah to sit outside. Sue is a friendly and welcoming host but gives you privacy too. We would definitely stay here again!
Dianne

Sue's home met our needs perfectly. The rooms are both spacious and cosy, and the comfortable beds are made with quality linen. The bathroom is totally clean, providing both luxurious treats (candles, quality body wash, hand cream and other toiletries), and basic essentials such as a hair dryer and shower caps! We were warmly welcomed by Sue and Roy, and after a long day of travelling we retreated to our rooms knowing that we could engage as much or as little as wanted, with our lovely hosts. The public herb garden is delightful, as is the ivy framed entrance to the house. The tastiest surprise of all is Roy's homemade bread! Breakfast will not disappoint!

Our two stays with Sue and Roy were fantastic. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed a welcome drink with them after long, hot days on the road, which was greatly appreciated. Their home is very close to the city centre and just a short, pleasant walk to shops and restaurants and located in a lovely heritage, tree-lined street. There is a real sense of tranquility when you walk in the front gate and the private front veranda is tastefully styled. Sue and Roy take great pleasure in providing beautifully presented accommodation that has all the touches of luxury. The linen is of high quality, as are the toiletries and a very comfortable bed. The private bathroom for guests is in your own area of the house and you are welcome to use the living spaces. A television is provided in your bedroom space. The yummy breakfast - Roy's homemade bread and a selection of fresh fruits, cereals and spreads is a great start to the day. Sue and Roy are the perfect hosts who treat you as friends and we can't recommend them highly enough. We will look forward to a return stay if ever in the area.

Wow! Sue and Roy set the bar for airbnb in my opinion. I had the pleasure of staying in their home for 5 nights and I wish I could have stayed much longer! The accommodation was amazing (very comfortable bed!) and their hospitality was just wonderful. I was away from home for university commitments but staying at Sue and Roy's made it feel like I was away on holidays. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to stay again and again!

We stayed in this perfect cottage for 2 nights, whilst we visited Wagga for a wedding. The photos of the cottage do not do it Justice. It is beautifully finished and well presented. The off street undercover parking is a great bonus too. Communication with Fiona was very good, and she gave us all the information we needed for checking in, as she was away the weekend we stayed. The bed was very comfortable, and the block out blinds/curtain combo, helped us have a very peaceful nights sleep. The kitchen has pretty much everything you would need, although we ate out during our stay. The cottage is located just up the road from a craft brewery, which has some very good beers on tap, and their Pizzas were pretty good too. The main part of town is a couple of minutes drive or a 5-10 minute walk away. We also had dinner at the Magpies Nest restaurant 5 minutes out of Wagga, which was excellent and we recommend you try it. Overall a great stay, and we would absolutely stop here again if we are ever visiting Wagga Wagga.

Cath was a great host and her communication during the booking process and lead up to our stay was excellent. House was very clean and neat and had just about everything we needed. Very close to town and getting there was easy from main Highway as it's just around corner. Pub across road is good for dinner and the free breakfast is good if you can get organised to be there by 9am but my 2 young kids aren't great at getting going in the morning. overall we had a terrific little holiday.

We had a wonderful stay right across the road from the pub. Comfy beds, good amount of living space and a spacious front verandah. Cath is friendly and a very attentive, flexible host. We enjoyed the Tuesday night music trivia at the William Farrer and found everything we needed in strolling distance, including great coffee just around the corner. A very quiet house, despite being just off the highway.

WOW, we loved Belle Cottage!! Cath was such a lovely host, a delight to meet, she made us feel so welcome. We love older style houses and this one didn't disappoint. The lounge room was filled with gorgeous decor and the beds were super comfy and clean. The photos are a great example of the real thing. We have a gorgeous little dog and its so lovely to be able to stay in a house that has a pet friendly yard...... PLUS its got a pub over the road with great beer meals and the best coffee is just around the corner at The Blessed Bean. The main street is right there.... I could keep going.... basically we loved it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were travelling to Wagga. Thanks Heaps Cath for your fabulous hospitality.

Our very comfortable, modern apartment is located in a quiet culdesac close to local shopping centre, and an easy five minute drive to Wagga CBD. Please note that the apartment is attached to our main residence. We live upstairs, and the apartment is situated beneath our family home. Our fully furnished apartment is perfect for the business person visiting town, or for a great alternative to a motel room for a quiet weekend getaway. There is a Queensize bed in the main bedroom ideal for a couple. In the lounge/living area is a second Queensize bed with a rollout single trundle underneath. So technically, you could sleep 5 people in the apartment if required. Featuring private kitchen/laundry, reverse cycle air conditioning, private access, off street carparking, plasma TV and DVD. Children are most welcome. Please note that there is an internal staircase that connects your apartment to our upstairs area. We lock have a locked door at the top of the stairs to maintain privacy. The stairs may not suit inquisitive toddlers and young children but could probably be blocked off at the base with furniture if needed. The apartment is attached to the main residence, and is privately accessed. There are no shared amenities. You have your own bathroom, kitchen and living spaces. The back yard is all yours too during your stay and includes clothes line, and a beautiful formal garden. Interaction between us and our guests can be as much or as little as you like. Being locals, we can provide all the information and guidance you require regarding local sights and attractions, entertainment and services. Alternatively, the study nook in your apartment contains loads of touristy pamphlets, take-away menu's etc. We love that our culdesac is nice and quiet and therefore has limited traffic. You can expect to awake to the sound of birds in the garden, rather than traffic noise. There is a bus service two blocks away at the local shopping centre that will take you into the centre of town. Alternatively, there is a cycling/walking track that follows the river into town. read more

The old saying "there is no such thing as a stranger, just friends that you have not met yet" certainly applies to the "Matthews Family". They are genuine, friendly and approachable in every way. This was my very first AIRBNB stay and one that we will not forget, for all the good reasons. The accommodation is first class and within easy drive to the Wagga CBD and a short walk to the local shops. Beautiful 2BR farm house
$226 NZD Beautiful 2BR farm house

Holiday Rental · New South Wales
Amazing views and a beautiful farm house just 5km from the historic Berry township. We have lots of horses near the farmhouse and we worry about children wondering into their paddocks so we ask guests to only bring children over 12 years of age. Sit back and enjoy the 360 degree view of lush green countryside or watch champion show jumpers ride around our Olympic sized arena. Meet Rupert the Goat, our 3 rescue kittens, our family of miniature horses, or come along as we feed our 10 thoroughbreds every morning and night. Parklands Hills is a two bedroom guest house set on 50 acres. Enjoy a luxurious master bedroom with plush Queen sized bed and floor to ceiling windows of the trees behind the house, a spacious living room with plenty of space to read or relax, and a large second bedroom with windows overlooking the horses and stream below. The living room sleeps an additional two people if required, in two single beds. One of these beds is a trundle bed. Every room has doors so there is plenty of privacy for all of our guests. Downstairs offers a beautiful living area and a full sized kitchen, with grand doors opening straight out onto the farm and the horses’ paddocks. See a different view from every room in the guest house, or sit outside and play with our 3 rescue kittens that live in the stables adjoined to the guest house. The township of Berry is only five minutes’ drive. Pick up some of Berry’s famous sourdough bread, some crisp fresh wine from some of Berry’s famous wineries, and some locally made cheese and preserves from the South Coast for a feast on the large outdoor setting as the sun sets. Venture slightly further towards Shoalhaven Heads for award-winning local oysters and shell fish or head into Berry for a culinary delight over dinner. The crystal clear waters of our South Coast beaches are just 15 minutes’ drive. Head to Seven Mile Beach for a long walk along the sand as the sun sets, or explore Gerringong, Gerroa or Culburra Beach where the locals head for a surf or a dip. ABOUT US Brett and I live in a house at the top of the property, about 300 metres from the guest house. We have 2 very small dogs (Millie and Logan) and a cat (Mia) but most of the time they are up at the other house with us. Millie and Logan would love to meet you when they come down with us to feed the horses in the morning. Mia stays up at the big house but our 3 little rescue kittens live in the stables and run around the outside of the guest house during the day. We put them to bed in the stables at night. We have 3 adult children but they all live in the city. They occasionally show up to ride horses but most of the time it’s just me and Brett riding with a couple of local show jumpers. Every now and then we compete at show jumping or dressage competitions and on those mornings you may hear us getting ready to leave quite early but we will let you know ahead of time if we need to leave with the horses early in the morning. We love having guests and introducing them to life on the farm but we enjoy the serenity as much as you will so we keep our distance to make sure you have a restful and peaceful stay. We love Berry and the South Coast and have countless activities to recommend. Here are just a few: - Kangaroo Valley: take a 20 min drive up the winding road behind Berry to explore the hidden valleys and gift shops of the valley, or hire a canoe to paddle down the Kangaroo River. - Drawing Room Rocks: go for a bushwalk along the high ridge behind Berry and be amazed at the view over the South Coast and its beaches. - Golf: Have a game at some of our local golf courses - Coolangatta Estate Winery (9 holes), Shoalhaven Heads, Nowra, Kangaroo Valley and Gerringong. - Pop out for some wine tasting: Coolangatta Estate Winery, Two Figs Winery, Jasper Valley Wines, Morellis Winery, Bundewallah Estate Winery, Crooked River Winery and Silos. - Local markets: head to the Berry Country Fair on the first Sunday of every month. Fresh local produce, collectibles, flowers, arts and crafts are in abundance here. The Berry flea market is on the third Sunday of every month. - Book some fabulous restaurants: The Hungry Duck, South on Albany, Berry Woodfired Sourdough bakery, Silos, Shimmer in Gerringong and The Blue Swimmer in Gerroa. - Head down to the Berry pubs for a drink with the locals. The old pub at the northern end of town has a few cute fireplaces to eat beside. - Visit the donut van in town for a late night feast on hot, fresh donuts covered in cinnamon. They are famous! There is a 3 hour train from Sydney to Berry - a cheap and easy way to get here - but once you arrive at Berry you really need a car to get around. We are happy to pick you up from the station if we are in Berry at the time but you may feel stuck at the farm if you don't have a car with you. CHECK OUT TIMES: Check in is 2pm and check out 11am. We are very happy to discuss arrival and departure times where availability allows but when there are guests on either side our hands will probably be tied. WE CAN ACCOMMODATE 5 GUESTS MAX AND NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE: We can only accommodate 5 guests because of the terms of our bed and breakfast license. This includes babies and children. Please understand that if there are more than 5 of you we just can't host you. No children under 16 years of age are allowed. There are too many horses too close to the cottage for us to be comfortable with having children stay. All daily rates are based on a minimum 2 night minimum stay. Should you wish to only stay for one night, that may be a possibility but the rate would be 50% higher.read more

Katelyn's apartment was just lovely. Her bed was super comfortable and the apartment had a great kitchen, living area and bathroom. The location is awesome, and you can walk down to the Murrumbidgee river for a walk or in to one of the main streets of town from the apartment. I stayed here for my university intensive school in August and it was lovely having the space to study and relax after long days. I will definitely stay again!

I had a really lovely experience staying at Katelyn's place for a week. She had left the heater and music on for my arrival and the place is furnished beautifully with a very calm and homely feel. There were lovely little touches such as little chocolates in the kitchen and travellers shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Woolworths is a 5 minute walk away and there are many other shops/eateries within walking distance or a very short drive. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Wagga.

Mike and Christine where fantastic hosts. As soon as we arrived, Mike came out to meet us and then took us to feed the cows, chickens, and meet Barnaby. My five year old daughter loved Barnaby so much, that she now has her own stuffed Barnaby that she sleeps with each night. Our corner of the house was nice and cozy. Each room had air-con, which was a nice change from the place that we had just left in Ballarat, and then when we woke up the next morning. We got to enjoy a nice breakfast before a long drive back to Sydney. Overall, it was a very nice stay on our way from Melbourne to Sydney.

Mike and Christine were gracious hosts and their home is beautifully presented. We had a whole section of their home to ourselves which offered plenty of privacy. They take great pride in their home and you can see it through the cleanliness and presentation. Our little one love barnaby the horse and we were even given some fresh apricots and cherries they had just picked off their trees. A great little pace to stay, very peaceful and a nice getaway from the city.

David and Laurene's experience in the industry showed during my recent stay at their apartment in Wagga. The apartment is attached to their home, and was spacious, exactly as depicted on the profile, and perfect for my week stay. Extra touches including a cheese platter, milk, bread, tea/coffee and juice were very much appreciated. My four friends and I stayed in Gemma's house on Saturday night, and had a great airbnb experience. Gemma was kind enough to organise early check-in for us, as we needed to be at our friend's surprise party by 2pm, and had left the air-con on for us which was a welcome relief on a hot day. All the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was clean and powerful. The house is unique in its decor, and Gemma has done well to maintain the theme while not sacrificing on comfort. We enjoyed our short stay in the house and would be happy to return.

Located within the small seaside village of Coledale approximately 1 hour from Sydney. The perfect “out of Sydney” experience.. the house itself that is situated up and over the ocean edge is as close to the waters edge as you can get!. The property benefits from a spacious living area with views spanning the surrounding escarpment and bushland, including two large balcony’s that allow guests full view over the ocean including far up and down the north and south coast line for kilometres. As close to the ocean as you can get! The property itself is situated front line right on the waters edge. The town and surrounding area form part a handful of small sea side towns that span along a thin 20km coast line that rest closely between a beautifully rich bush lined escarpment and the ocean waters edge. There are a range of gorgeous patrolled and non patrolled beaches, tidal rock pools, bush walks and natural settings within the area that are unique. The experience would suit a range of guests looking for a quiet get away to those seeking to get out and about and explore the surrounding environment. To the north past a series of beautiful hidden beaches and the famous sea cliff bridge rests the edge of Sydney's royal national park, while to the immediate south of Coledale (5 min car ride) is the areas main commercial hub Thirroul, which even as a small sea side town itself boasts a range of restaurants, cafes, small bars and pubs. The house itself is private, spacious and consists of a large open living area, large kitchen, two well spaced bathrooms (two showers, one spa bath), two seperate large bedrooms with queen sized beds and two large balcony’s, one at the rear overlooking the escarpment, the other at the front of the property overlooking the ocean. The apartment is completely private. And while i live below the apartment i am rarely home as i spend a great deal of time in Sydney. We may bump into one another out the front on the street, however the property itself both upstairs and downstairs are complexity private from one another. Bother areas are self contained and sealed off from the other which ensures maximum privacy for guests. The property also has seperate points of entry for each house. However should guests require anything at any time i am available for contact via mobile. I am available at all times to answer any questions or help in anyway i can. i can be contacted via mobile phone. Otherwise, guests privacy is highly respected and as such we may not bump into one another throughout the duration of the stay. What a perfect retreat!!! First stay at Sharkies and what can I say, it was absolutely awesome! We wanted a quick get away from Sydney. I booked the day before and Ben promptly answered my questions. It was only about 90mins drive from Balmain (on a Sunday) to Sharkies which makes this such an easy weekend or overnight destination. Ben was absolutely lovely, greeted us when we arrived, had a nice chat, showed us the amenities and offered help or suggestions where he could. HE EVEN DROVE TO A FRIENDS HOUSE TO GET US A BBQ! Such a legend. The view from the Rear balcony is breath-taking and the place well equipped to handle a nice cooked meal. Lots to do around the area, I did a nice 1hr hike through the rain Forrest and there are plenty of cafes and surf breaks. I honestly could not have asked for a better trip and I'm already thinking about returning. Thanks for the hospitality Ben!

Ben's place has a million dollar view of the ocean, we only got to stay 1 night which was such a pity. It's huge inside, plenty of room for a family and friends. Thank you Ben for having us at such short notice, if we are ever up that way again, we will stay here for sure

Our host was very friendly and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. I am looking forward to returning again for a longer period next time. Although only for one night we loved our stay at Sharky's Beach! The house is spacious, quiet, relaxing and has an awesome view over the water. Benjamin looked after everything we needed and the house and kitchen has everything you could possibly want for your stay. Perfect for exploring all the beaches in the local area. Looking forward to staying there next time we are in the area!

Fresh linen, toiletries, basic kitchen and other household necessities are conveniently provided. Including outdoor bbq, air conditioning, free wi fi and entertainment station which includes, blue ray and HDMI/USB options. Check in and out times are easily negotiable concerning individual requirement. The local area has a range of natural attractions including bush walks through the escarpment and within the royal national park. A large range of patrolled and non patrolled beaches, catering for those that wish to find a more bustling beach environment to those wishing for seclusion. The area has a range of cafes and local pubs, also 5min drive or 20 min walk to the south there are a great number more restaurants and cafes of varying kind, supermarkets, shopping and nightlife opportunities centered around local small bars and pubs. Those guests looking for more nightlife opportunities may look toward wollongong which is 30 min by car or public transport away. Accessible by car via Bulli pass or Stanwell park turn off. Train and bus also located 10-15 min from property.read more

I had such a lovely stay at Damien and Charlotte's Little Sea Shack. I didn't get to meet Damien but Charlotte was home to greet me and settle me in (and let me snuggle her gorgeous dog). The studio was very comfortable - bright and beautifully presented and neat as a button, with a soothing coastal vibe. I enjoyed every minute I spent there and wish there could have been many more of them! :)

Damian made us feel very welcome. Very clean little studio, although the bathroom was very small and did not have a wash basin. Don't little washing hands in the sink where we wash dishes. Apart from that the studio was comfortable and did have excellent view. The location was very peaceful and quite.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Damian and Charlotte's. The place was clean, and the bed was super comfy. It had all the amenities you'd need, and was only a few blocks from the surf. Great hosts, we'd definitely recommend their place! :)

Damian and Charlotte are a wonderfully welcoming couple, the type of people you never forget for their genuine interest and concern for you. A perfect little jewel of an apartment: much bigger than I thought it would be. Comfy bed, great shower, lovely home from home touches such as some really good paperbacks which I've been meaning to read for ages.

Perfect get away from the big smoke.. Austinmer beach is only five minutes walk away from the cute Little Seaside Shack, as well as Thirroul beach. It's a really sweet area to be in. You have beaches meeting the backdrop of escapement - beautiful. We only stayed one night but it was just what we wanted. We didn't have to worry about breakfast which is a nice touch. There were porridge sachets, fresh bread, milk, coffee, tea, jams, butter. There is wifij, a heater, a little kitchenette if you want to cook something too but I highly recommend going out for dinner at Samsaras, Woonona, which is 8 minutes drive away. Also on Sundays there is the Bulli Forages Market which is a must see. Hope we come back - thank you. -Sam

Very cute little cottage, behind the main house, with a fantastic shower and all the things you need for a short stay in Wollongong. Mark and Kelly were very helpful and extremely welcoming, going above and beyond as hosts, and went out of their way to make our son feel at home as well. He was very sad to leave! Communication prior to our stay was also great with rapid, clear responses. And all-round great place to stay! The little playground across the street was great for small kids too.

Mark and Kelly let us feel very welcome! The cabine was beautyful. Modern. Its quite small, but we had enought space even with our 2year old boy. Sadly it was raining, so we couldnt enjoy the big balcone and garden. Parking was no problem. Its superclose to Wollongong. The only "bad" thing was the many stairs you had to climb up to the house. But hey, the excercise wasnt wasted! We loved it to stay in the cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Breeze Apt - we had our little 9-month old with us and he enjoyed crawling on the plush carpet in the bed room and along the hallway. Kerri was the most charming host and it was nice to find little goodies in the fridge and nice toiletries in the bathroom. Modern Luxury - Stunning Views - with all the comforts of home and companion dog friendly. Single night bookings are welcome for midweek nights BUT ARE CHARGED AT THE WEEKEND RATE TO COVER EXTRA CLEANING COSTS. MODERN LUXURY ~ STUNNING VIEWS ~ The main living and dining area is a great space to relax in and overlooks the ocean to the mountains beyond. THE OCEAN: ... across the road and the views from the balcony - totally dreamy. To get to the beach - cross the road - then you can wander along the grass verge for a pleasant 3 minute walk to Little Beach, or if it's low tide you can walk straight down to the rocky shore and 'fossick' your way to the sand. 'Little Beach' which is at the northern end of Seven Mile Beach is a very safe & perfect beach for children and people like me who don't like big waves. Seven Mile Beach is part of the National Park and constitutes the view from Coastal Bliss - nothing but ocean, sky & rolling deep green hills surrounding Coolangatta & Cambewarra Mountain. Sea eagles, dolphins, the occasional seal and pods of whales when they're heading up or down the coast. CONTEMPORARY STYLE - EASY LIVING: Relax in style among the many original art works throughout the house. The Kitchen is very well equipped and a dream to use with concrete bench tops, black bean veneer cupboards and induction cook top. The pantry hides an alcove with filter coffee machine, toaster & microwave. The stereo is iPhone & Android compatible. 3 X BEDROOMS: Our beds are fitted with quality linen & extra pillows for added comfort. Two bedrooms have queen size beds. The third bedroom comfortably sleeps three people. It has three single Beds This room also serves as a sunny second living or play space for children, as it has a second TV/DVD & leads onto the sunny north facing deck. BATHROOMS: There are two full bathrooms, one with deep bath. Bathroom toiletries are supplied. A WELL STOCKED PANTRY: A variety of teas, plunger & filter coffee are supplied. If you crave a real espresso or a fabulous meal the Blue Swimmer Cafe / Restaurant is a pleasant walk up the road and open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, and dinner on Friday and Saturday. The pantry is stocked with an extensive range of cooking supplies, such as oils, sauces, herbs, spices & condiments. MUSIC - ART - LITERATURE A great little stereo here has CD & dock, apple / android compatible. And we have a good selection of DVD's & CD's. The library is stocked with a wide range of books, magazines and a few jig-saw puzzles for - rainy days. We hope you appreciate the wonderful original artworks displayed throughout Coastal Bliss. BBQ: BBQ and outdoor seating helps you make the most of the beautiful outdoors. EXTRA SPACE: Garage has plenty of space to stack your beach gear. The entire house is there for your use as is reasonable for the number of people staying. That is, extra charges may apply if for example, 1 person uses both bathrooms and multiple beds. We don't charge a cleaning fee, so we do hope you can understand how the above scenario would impact on our time & costs. We'll call & email you after you've booked just to say, "hello" and to check if you have any special needs - and we live close by if you ever need to our assistance. Gerroa has a reputation as a special place for good reason. There are endless choices to do all manner of things - walk along Seven Mile Beach through the national park to the bird sanctuary, paddle up Crooked River - learn to Surf at the local surf school- splash around in the water - count the starfish in the rock pools - you get the picture - OR do nothing! Laze around on the balcony - soak in the view and breathe in the sweet air. Not much public transport really - so If you want to do the tourist thing, a car is the go! -The historical towns of Berry & Kangaroo Valley are a short drive away and are packed with quirky shops, galleries, brilliant cafes & restaurants (did I mention the wineries?) and all this.... set amongst spectacular views of this rich dairy country nestled below the coastal escarpment. If you don't have a car ...... we may be able to pick you up from Gerringong train station. And there is a bus that heads into Berry & Gerringong 2-3 times a week through Gerroa, so if you don't have a car this is a way to get 'a tourist hit' The rest of the time you'll be forced to chill by the coast :) We would love to have you stay so send us a message. Please Note: The rates shown, are our base rates do increase at peak periods. Best to send us a message & we can discuss. We previously had Coastal Bliss functioning as a B&B (while we were living there) and therefore some of the guest reviews refer to us 'making guests breakfast etc'. Please don;t be confused by this, you now have the 'entire home' to enjoy in complete privacy. You will have access to the entire home - however we do ask that for 1 x person or couple staying, to restrict your use to one bedroom & bathroom if at all possible. We have additional fees for more than 2 x guests, which covers extra cleaning and linen costs. We'll call or email you after you've booked just to say, "hello" and to check if you have any special needs - we live close by if you ever need to our assistance just message us! The Blue Swimmer Bistro is just up the road. Fabulous coffee, breakfasts, lunch & dinner. Open Wednesday - Sunday. For a big club nosh up the local Gerroa Boat Fisherman's Club does a great seafood platter and the views are wonderful. A good selection of cafes & restaurants in Gerringong, just 3 minutes up the road and you can triple that for Berry. About 10 minutes drive - our pick is Hungry Duck. Milkwood (ANA Berry Sourdough) cafe for spectacular espresso, wood fired sourdough and cakes - next to the post office. Not much in way of public transport. The train from Sydney stops a few minutes drive away at Gerringong Station. Our Local Taxi services are: Nowra Taxi Co-op. Direct Bookings: ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) & Kiama Cabs. You can go for walks exploring the rainforest. It is a working cattle and horse farm. The cabin is next to a lovely little creek and the orchard. Guests can go for walks on our property but not our neighbours. Please don't go into any of our sheds and stables and don't enter horse paddocks. The cabin is completely private, about 50 m from our residence. We are happy to answer any questions and tell you about the attractions of the area, recommend restaurants, etc. The Kiama area is very beautiful with the volcanic origins making it very lush and green in summer. There are lots of beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, nice shops in Kiama, Gerringong and Berry. Plenty of other attractions in the area like Jamberoo Action Park, Shoalhaven Zoo, Trees Adventure, etc. Museums in Gerringong, Kiama and Berry, and the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society in Albion Park. Many other attractions, Southern Highlands and Jervis Bay both one hour away. If you don't have a car, pick up from Kiama or Gerringong Train station could be arranged. It is however a long walk (6 km) into town. It is a working farm, so please leave all gates as you find them. There are spiky and stinging plants and poisonous animals. However if you walk with the right shoes on and your eyes open you will generally be safe. Whenever possible we can arrange a later check out. Please ask.read more

Beautiful spot, secluded and a great place to escape the hustle and bustle and get back to basics. LOVED the outside bath, and the mezzanine sleeping quarters. The place is perfectly simple, and in a beautiful spot. Natalie and her husband were great to deal with. We will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing trip. The property was gorgeous, clean and Natalie was very helpful and lovely. We loved the outdoor bath and although it's winter, the fire kept the water nice and hot. There are lots of lovely walks to do and the coastal walk was a definite highlight. The composting toilet was easy to use and didn't cause an issue and the loft bedroom was super cute and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit =)

Natalie's eye for detail was impeccable . The cabin exceeded our already high expectations! We had the most amazing weekend, swimming at kiama, cooking seafood on the BBQ and of course enjoying the out door bath! I personally spent hours marveling at the construction of the cabin with all the intricate little details. Loved it and would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic , peaceful escape. Thanks Natalie !

Spent a beautiful 3 days in this cabin. The property was so picturesque, the cabin is just gorgeous with rustic charm. The family house is close by but it felt like a secluded sanctuary. We were greeted by Natalie on arrival and she was always available and friendly when we had any questions. There were fresh eggs, flowers and citrus fruits provided which was lovely. It was such a sweet escape and definitely recommended.

It's a fairly basic apartment but with real character. I liked it a lot. Also it is a very central location in Wagga. I didn't meet Kate but everything went smoothly.

A lovely little apartment like a home away from home! I mentioned to Kate that we would be arriving late and a light was left on for when we arrived in at night. The yard was secure for our curious young dog who was safe when she couldn't come shopping with us! Would love to stay here again!

The Lodge is positioned in a convenient location right opposite Woolworths and local shops, with a 20minute walk to Wagga Wagga Base Referral Hospital. I was upgraded to a larger room with a double bed for no extra cost (Thanks Danny!), although the room I stayed in is different from the one pictured. Provided in the bedroom was a shelf, chair and inbuilt wardrobe (bring your own hangers). I requested a small desk to use my laptop on to which Danny was able to provide. A small radiator heater was also provided in my bedroom as it got cold at night. Shared bathroom and kitchen amenities (crockery provided) with other occupants, who are very friendly and sociable. Wifi is a good speed and had access in all areas of home! Danny is a good and responsive host who answered/addressed concerns I had. Thank you so much for letting me stay at The Lodge, it made my two weeks away from home very comfortable!
