A beautiful spot for a weekend of skiing!

This place was absolutely beautiful!! Extremely clean and accommodating to our needs. Located only 15 min from ski hill. Hosts were super friendly greeted us like their own! Will definitely be staying here again!!

We had a great ski and stay at “The Three Bears”. Cozy and warm year round cabin in the woods on a lake. I can only imagine how nice it is in the summer. We will be back!!!

This place is highly recommended ! It was so cozy & peaceful . The cottage was sparkling clean & Tammy is a wonderful host! The pantry was full stocked; everything you need in the kitchen for cooking . The wood stove was so cozy on a winter’s day . Our dogs had a great time as well running around the property & playing the neighbour’s sweet pup .

Great getaway! Quiet and relaxing. Cottage had everything you would expect or need. Well stocked kitchen! The view was spectacular especially the moon over the lake! Loved the deer that wandered around the property!

Really great space to relax and unwind after a day snowboarding with our kids. The area is gorgeous and only a short drive from ski Wentworth. Our kids loved all the kids dvds and watched several of them after being at the hill all day.

Fantastic place to stay. We spend the day at Ski Wentworth, followed by a laid back, relaxing night at the cottage. Location was only 15 minutes from the ski hill, store on the way with an NSLC, and a charming cottage at the end of a wooded road, directly on the lake! Can’t wait to make our way back this summer! Gary's place is great for a ski getaway at Ski Wentworth. We were very comfortable. However there is no wifi.

Tamara's place was just what we were looking for, for our get away. Amazing little cabin that had everything we needed for our visit. The cabin is situated in a perfect area with a waterfront view. She even included nice little welcome package, which was such a thoughtful touch. Would stay again.

Lovely location overlooking apple trees and the bay. My daughter loved following all the bunny and deer tracks in the snow. Quiet, peaceful, with a fantastic night sky filled with stars.

We had a such a great time in Tatamagouche.... the cabin was cozy with the best view, with all necessities for a great stay!! Close to the Tatamagouche brewing company.... and all the great things the community has to offer. Will be back again.

This cozy cabin in the woods is a wonderful place to get away from it all. If you love the outdoors, this is a terrific place to enjoy winter sports like skiing and snowshoeing. Tamara was a great host and provided us with a nice welcome basket of treats. Clean and comfortable accommodations and easy check in. We will be back!

We had a wonderful couple of days at Jen’s cottage. It was well equipped with all the amenities for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We were also the first guests to use the new BBQ and big screen TV with satellite and Netflix! The view from the front deck looking across the harbour, and the large front lawn area ( with a fire pit ) are both excellent. The cottage is located close to two towns. Jen was also great in communicating with us and addressing any questions we had. A great time was had by all!

Jennifer's cottage on Malagash Bay is outstanding, with a stunning view and a beautiful property. She is a warm, gracious host. We would stay at Malagash Cottage again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Jennifer and Al made us feel completely welcome and at ease when we arrived to check in. The cottage is in a superb location, with views across Tatamagouche Bay and a shoreline that can be walked at low tide. For a more sandy beach experience, Blue Sea Beach provincial park is just a few minutes drive away. For us, the best thing about the cottage was the south-facing front deck, from which you could watch both the boats on the bay and the birds at the feeder. There is a line of mature pine trees in front of the deck that shelter you from the sun but still allow you a clear view of the water. If the mosquitoes came around, the screened gazebo took care of them. For staying connected, the wifi worked great. The satellite television had good reception and was uncomplicated. The shower was excellent - lots of water pressure and steady temperature. The cottage has a real cosy feel to it, with lots of wood panelling and nautical decorative touches. Being ourselves new to the Airbnb scene, we felt very privileged to be Jennifer's first Airbnb guests and wish her continued success with her cottage rentals.

This place is absolutely perfect. There were five of us as well as the dogs and everyone had a great weekend (including the dogs!). It was sparkling clean and Nancy was easy to communicate with. Everything worked and the location was great for long walks both in the woods and on the frozen lake. Will definitely return if we can.

The PERFECT place to relax. Their cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. If every Airbnb were this good, nobody would stay anywhere else!

Nancy and Noreen’s cottage is a little slice of heaven! Nancy met us as we were checking in and showed us around the place. She was very welcoming, and a very cool person! We loved spending our nights by the wood fireplace listening to records, and enjoyed just taking in the beautiful scenery while having our morning coffees. The cottage is a short drive to the ski hill, which was also a bonus. We found the bed very comfortable, and appreciated the white bedding! Their cottage was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed to cook meals, shower, etc. We hope to return in the future!

Such a cute cottage. Before our stay I asked Nancy if we could stake on the lake. She mentioned it was snow covered so she wasnt sure conditions would be good. When we arrived I was surprised to see she had taken the time to clear a spot off for us. The cottage is well stocked with pretty much everything you need included some fun board games. We will definitely be back again. Thanks Nancy!

A cozy little get away close to trails and town, this cottage had everything we needed. All though we didn’t get to meet Bruce, his directions and information were clear, concise and helpful. A great little spot.

Spent the better part of a week here while skiing at Wentworth. Had a very enjoyable stay, the cabin was in a beautiful location, well stocked with games and movies, and I was incredibly impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was for a cabin of that size. Would stay another week in a heartbeat.

Great view and location

Wonderful cottage with a beautiful view. You can expect all amenities and a sparking clean environment. Lovely area with gorgeous lakeside views makes for wonderful walks and isn't far (5-10min) from the main town area. Bruce ensured we had everything we needed, was very responsive, provided ample direction and visitor information for the area. If you're thinking about booking, I highly recommend that you do.

Go with no expectations and let the Bruce's place speak for itself. You wont be disappointed!

Great little cabin just outside of Tatamagouche! Matt and Mandy were very responsive when we were booking and super accommodating. They even set up a pack n play for our baby! Especially loved the tub and the wood burning fireplace.

Lovely, quiet place close to the quaint town of Tatamagouche. Wonderful fireplace and great light from large windows makes for a great view. Kitchen fully stocked and the place was very, very clean. Heated floors felt good, too!

We had a great stay at Lindsay and Mark's house. It is a nice, modern and cozy cottage with a great view and perfect appliances and space for a large group. Communications with Lindsay was always easy and efficient. Would recommend 100%!

What a great place for a large family. The fireplace keep us warm from the cold days; the kitchen was great for cooking our big meals and we had lots of laughs in the game room. We would definitely return to this gem of a home....

Excellent stay in November 2019. We were a group of 14 people and the place still seemed very roomy. Fireplace on the main floor was the main attraction and provided more than enough heat for all of us in the house. Located just a hop away from Tatamagouche, so easy to shop for groceries if needed. Would definitely recommend this scenic coastal house to other large groups.

This is a perfect large-family location. So much space to spread out & enjoy your stay while still being able to spend time together gathered around the dinner table or in the living room! It was great having the bedrooms downstairs for those who wanted to escape to bed early or sleep in later. Awesome place!

Place was clean, spacious, comfortable and a spectacular ocean view right from the cottage. We loved it there! The place had everything we needed o we didn’t need to worry about packing or buying extra things.

I spent the weekend at Crystal’s beautiful beach house with 7 friends and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house itself is totally gorgeous, even better than it appears in the photos. It’s located right on the beach with fantastic views - loved waking up to the sound of waves. It was only a three minute drive to the Jost winery and about 15 minutes to the town of Tatamagouche. Crystal was wonderful to communicate with and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful beach getaway!

This place is absolutely incredible! This was our first time out East for many of our group and is definitely an experience we will never forget. Crystal & Ian thought of everything and then some. If you can get past the scarcity of amenities this place is perfect for large groups of people or large families to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Wonderful beach for walking and swimming right out of the back door.

Great vacation with 6 friends and a baby. The house was clean, well equipped, and had a lovely view of the water. Communication with crystal was easy, the checkin was seamless and the house fit perfectly for what we needed. Lovely Jost vineyard around the corner as well!

Lovely historical house in Tatamagouche. Very convenient. Can walk anywhere locally. Nice walks along the river. The home is comfortable with basic amenities. Angus and Michael are very welcoming.

Our stay was great at Angus and Michaels lovely older home. I had a pleasant welcome from Michael. There was a kitchenette to make coffee or snacks, books to read, and corners to relax so we had all we needed. I would recommend a stop at this place if your coming to Tatamagouche

This BnB is perfectly located, in beautiful historic downtown Tatamagouche,and Michael and Angus are fantastic, well informed hosts, the fresh picked blueberries were a delicious extra at breakfast .

Lisa's home is so beautiful that it almost felt like I was defacing artwork by using it. It's in an excellent location close to the heart of happenings in Tatamagouche and within an easy walk of shops and the farmer's market/arts center/walking trail. Having my own space including a sitting/tv room, bathroom, and entrance foyer was a treat!

Lisa's place was absolutely perfect and a great, central place to stay while exploring the town of Tatamagouche.

Steven's place was cozy and a perfect location for a Thanksgiving weekend away. Beautiful views and everything you'd need for a weekend. Steven was very accommodating and allowed us to stay a little later after check in, as that was the only day that didn't rain. Would stay again.

The pictures don’t do this cottage or the views justice! Steve was a great host, with open communication. We stayed during hurricane Dorian and had no power during our whole stay, Steve was happy to make a compensation for lack of useable amenities.

My girlfriend and I took advantage of renting this place for a nice girls weekend! It is a beautiful spot with a gorgeous view of the beach. The cottage itself took me back to my child hood, we loved all the little extras found throughout the cottage. The walk down to the beach can be a bit tricky in some spots but well worth the trip down. The cottage a night is relaxing sitting on the back deck or around the fire listening to the waves hit the rocks was great. Just dont forget your bug spray and after bite. :) I would certainly visit this spot again.

Great vintage cottage to get away from things!

The cottage is beautifully located on an incredible beach facing cliff. Access to the beach is pretty easy, and totally worth the adventure! The amenities were above and beyond what we expected, and the little touches were evident everywhere during our stay. We had a great visit, and really enjoyed our time. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect stay at Steven's family cottage. The arrival was uneventful and Steven even took the time to call to check if everything was going well. A very nice gesture. The cottage was adequately equipped, whether to stay indoors or to spend the day outside. The view of the Northumberland Strait offers absolutely dazzling sunrises and sunsets as well as the chance to observe many animals (gannets, seals ...) I recommend you without reservation this little gem located near the tip of a cape! - Absolutely perfect stay at Steven's family cottage. Arrival was seamless and Steven took it easy. A really appreciated gesture. Cottage is well furnished, where we spend the day. The view has the Northumberland Strait astonishing sunrises / sunsets and chances to observe many animals (Gannets, seals ...) I recommend you without reserve this gem!

My family loved our weekend at Kara's loft. The space was bigger than we expected and it was very nicely decorated. We enjoyed making meals around the large island in the kitchen and appreciated all of the little touches, like popcorn and a popcorn maker for movie night (and yes, there was Netflix). Beds were comfy, shower was hot, large soft towels were provided and she even set scissors out beside an unopened bag of coffee. Seemed to think of everything. Would highly recommend!

Don't hesitate to book this place if you are staying in this area. Such a beautiful and quaint loft with all the amenities you would require. Netflix was a bonus when settling in for the night. Kara was quite attentive to any needs we required.

This cottage on the lake is beautiful! A few of us went to wentworth for a ski trip weekend and really enjoyed our stay here. It pretty much has everything you need for a little getaway. The cottage is lovely and Deborah was very nice and always there to answer any question we had. I would love to go back some day and maybe make a trip in the summer to truly enjoy the lake.

This place is terrific. We had a lovely weekend of campfires, canoeing, fishing and relaxing. Beds were comfy and there are plenty of amenities. We didnt get to meet Deb but the instructions were impeccable and she was very responsive to any questions we had. It's obvious this home has been the centrepoint of many happy family weekends. We would love to come back! Even in the winter to do some skiing :)

Great space. Lots of walking trails nearby ,cozy wood stove and fully functional kitchen. lake nearby which is great for skating if the conditions are good and the ski hill nearby.

Though smallish, the cottage/home is lovely. Gary has put some sweet touches in the site. The bathroom amenities, coffee options and the pre-warmed cottage were all appreciated as it be as a cool weekend! The location is very central to many local sites on the Brule Shore.

If you are wondering if this is the pace to stay for either your winter or summer vacation, the answer is yes. Don't waste anymore time thinking about it.

My friends and I had a lovely ski retreat at Mary's chalet in Wallace. The cottage itself was lovely and cozy, and mary had snowshoes all laid out and ready for us! It was very convenient considering the ski hill was less than 15 minutes away. Certainly would reccomend to anyone looking for a ski retreat or general winter retreat and beautiful nova scotia.

Amazing nature retreat ! The amenities were awesome but by far enjoyed all the beautiful dragonflies ! Took a canoe ride both days and enjoyed all that nature had to offer we highly recommend Mary’s place !!!

My family had a very relaxing time enjoying nature. My kids loved the swimming, canoeing and building structures with the logs from the woods.

We had a wonderful family trip at Mary's chalet. She thoughtfully had some breakfast items and a welcome basket waiting for us upon arrival. The chalet is very peaceful and a great place to unwind!

A cozy retreat surrounded by nature awaits you at this little gem. Mary is a wonderfully conscientious host who thinks of everything. We loved the canoe and the covered and screened in porch - a great escape!

Nadine's cottage by the water is splendid. My family and I very much enjoyed our time off at this beautiful location. Although it is not advertised as a baby friendly location we had no problem getting comfy with both our kids. The kids really enjoyed being right by the water and the backyard was a Nice playing spot. The hosts were great too!!

We had a lovely stay, and I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. We love to cook, and we're able to make a few meals during our stay. The upstair’s bed was very comfortable, which is nice to have when one is on vacation. We enjoyed the area and hope to go back one day soon.

This large, stylish, and well-equipped cottage sits directly on the bay with sturdy stone steps to go beach combing, kayaking, wading, or swimming. A deck and grassy yard face the water to enjoy all its many changes and take in the breezes. We used the downstairs portion of the home for our long stay (the upstairs bedroom is super cozy with its own balcony overlooking the bay (but we opted out of the stairs due to old age). We prepared many meals in the kitchen which had everything we needed plus it was already stocked with plenty of basic foods. We shopped at the farmer’s market and got bread from the bakery on Main Street (6 easy miles away). We ate at several of the local restaurants – all fabulous (seafood stew at the Rail Yard was super). Nadine and John’s hospitality was more than generous. We arrived early and were wandering around town when Nadine found us in a local store (based on our license plate) to say the house was ready a little early! They provided great ideas for exploring local and farther out and gave us so many options for ways to enjoy their property. Also, there is so much to enjoy in Nova Scotia, we barely made a dent in 9 days, so we hope to return. Highly recommend!

if you are a biker, as we were, the butter trail and the short line trail are a must !!!!! as in bicycles !!!!!

Clean, adorable little guest house in a great location.

We spent an evening here for a girls night getaway, and it was the perfect location. Lots of space to walk around outside, very quiet setting, super comfy beds/pillows. Our hosts were responsive to any inquiries we had prior to our night away and there were also local surprises awaiting us.

A great place for a weekend ski trip with the girls! Jenna is a great host- very accommodating and quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great clean place to stay everything you need is available to use

This is a very nice property, close to Tatamagouche. I stayed here in the winter as I looking to stay somewhere close to Wentworth, it would also be a very nice getaway in the summer. It was roomy and clean. The host was very easy to contact and had great communication. There were nice touches including local beer in the fridge and information on events in the area.

We loved our stay at Kate's place. It was well located to Tatamagouche and skiing at Wentworth. It was super quiet and peaceful. The home was well decorated and very quaint. It is well set up for families and our family of five had a great stay.

This spot was perfect for a group. Lots of beds, towels and blankets to be cozy as it turns to fall. And such a great collection of DVDs to watch. Full kitchen for meal prep which we appreciated. Made our weekend getaway perfect and hassle free.

The storm was pretty bad unfortunately I couldn’t even clean the dishes before I left because power was out and the windows upstairs kept blowing open and the garbage blew over but I loved the place itself it was beautiful!

Stayed 10 days with 3 boys and a toddler, lots of room, well stocked. Biggest complaint from kids was no wifi, ( but i knew that when booking) upstairs was really hot, Kate supplied portable air conditioner, worked great. Would definitely recommend the blue house.

This is the second time we've stayed in the Tata House and both experiences have been great. The house is well laid out and spacious, it has every amenity you could possibly need and lots of nice touches. Robert is very responsive and helpful and the house is perfectly located for a weekend of skiing and some apres ski in Tatamagouche. We'll definitely be back!

Awesome place to stay, whether you heading to wentworth skiing or just want to explore the area. House is bigger than we expected with lots of room for guests. Fun games to play and very close to Main Street that has everything you need. Would recommend!

We loved this farmhouse for our family vacation. It was clean, great views, loved the location and the quiet area. Just steps from the beach, spacious with storage and everything we needed. Next door is the Cidery so we got to taste each one (hard to pick a favourite!) and walk gently in between the apple trees. There is also Jost Winery, Malagash Market (pizza is really great), Blue Sea Beach (amazing) and a hiking trail close to the Malagash nearest Wallace. A quick trek into Tatamagouche with the brewery and I would HIGHLY recommend Tippery cafe (great lattes and vegetarian options). Wallace has a great hiking trail too and you are not far from Sugar Moon and Wentworth. We hope to come again soon.

You can expect a lovely home that feels cozy, warm and welcoming! It is spacious, charming and has everything you need to feel comfortable. Brenna was an attentive host who was genuinely interested in her guests. Check in was easy and we found a list of fun things to do listed on a chalkboard in the entryway when we arrived. We were delighted with the special touches, like fresh fruit from the hosts' orchard in a beautiful bowl on the table, some bottles of their cider, which tasted amazing, organic coffee and a fresh acorn squash from the farm as well. We were also fortunate to get the chance to see the hosts' store and buy some specialty items made by them to take home with us. We were able to walk the property, see the fruit trees in the orchard and take a short stroll down the driveway to the small beach across the street. The sunset over the orchard, viewed from the family room, was a site to behold! And the views of the ocean from the house were spectacular. This was a great location to explore the nearby towns of Tatamagouche, Pugwash, and Wallace. We found a fiber arts studio and a pottery studio in Tatamagouche which we loved. Our only regret was not having enough time to see the local provincial beach and the vineyard. We highly recommend a stay here. It was a very special one for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Modern Farmhouse is the perfect name for this property. It was in excellent condition, updated without losing it's charm. It's very close to local attractions and is the perfect place for a family vacation. The house was well equipped with everything you may need. Brenna was very friendly and responsive. Their check-in process was easy and we were able to settle in quickly. Thank you for everything!

Our stay at Brenna and Sebastian’s place was great ! A perfect spot for a family and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our 1 year old. The view is beautiful and we hoped to use the beach you can see from the house for dog walks but the combination of the tide times and the mosquitos made it not usable for us ! The bugs were really bad so the screened in porch was a welcome addition ! Just 5 minutes away was a beautiful beach with no bugs ! On top of the house having everything we needed they left us delicious cider !

A beautiful old farmhouse right by the ocean. The view from the master bedroom and the fully screened deck are stunning! Brenna was very quick to communicate, and everything is carefully labelled to make things easy to find, including a list of some of the local sights. We enjoyed the Jost Winery, the Blue Sea Park beach, and spending time in nearby Tatamagouche. The house is spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully loaded with anything we could possibly need for meal prep, we felt right at home! We really enjoyed our stay, would love to visit here again.

We loved this cottage and didn't want to leave. The screened in porch was just great. Loved having my morning coffee out there. A wonderful place to shoot the stars and the milky way. The ocean floor came alive when the tide went out. Nice lawn to play games and we enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. 10 out of 10. If we are ever back in the area we would ask to stay here for sure.

Great location with lovely views and no bugs thanks to the screened in porch. Kitchen well equipped, plus milk in the fridge when we arrived! Lots of local area info on hand, even growlers for local ale. Marty was a kind host and very responsive to any questions during our stay. A relaxing holiday by the sea.

The cottage is just as described. The grassy area is great for kids or playing games, the water is beautiful. You have to climb over rocks to get to the water, but it's worth it. Water shoes are recommended as the water is rocky with lots of shells. We loved having access to the kayaks.

Marty’s place was just what we needed. It is a beautiful spot..nice and quiet. We cooked our own meals and there was plenty of dishes, pots, etc. Wish we had taken advantage of the kayaks but the time got away from us. The Tatamagouche Brewery was a nice spot to visit in town, with really great beer. Played golf at the Brule Point Golf Club. Colin was very friendly and has a nice little business there.

Mary is an exceptional host. Full of attentions and pleasant company. His cottage is impeccable. The rooms are comfortable. The place is beautiful. It was our first time in Tatamagouche (NS) and it is a beautiful place ... and we were there in the middle of winter! To discover, as much at Mary's cottage as all the kindness of people from Tatamagouche. Pleasant microbrewery in the heart of the village. The beer is excellent. In short, I loved Tatamagouche.

We had a great stay at Mary's place. We had the entire upstairs of the building, which had three bedrooms even though there was only two of us. The apartment had all the necessary amenities. The bedrooms facing the road were prone to traffic noise in the morning. The cafe is downstairs for a great breakfast. A very good value for the money! Mary was a very helpful and gracious host.

Mary is a fantastic host! Very thoughtful and personable. She also makes a delicious breakfast! We will be back!

We are a family of 5 with three children under 6. We can be a little rowdy so at times I was worried for the beautiful space that Mary provides but it worked out for our family. Mary is very accommodating and willing to help out if you’ve forgotten something or need something to make your stay more comfortable. The use of recreational equipment is a wonderful bonus and she provides water and snacks for your activity. Breakfast is made to order and healthy! Would definitely recommend.

Mary is an absolute delight. She makes a super breakfast with her own homemade bread. Her accommodation is great value situated right in the middle of town. Thank you Mary.

We loved our stay! The rooms very comfortable and very clean and Mary very kind and warm hostess! The breakfast was delicious! Excellent location to explore the surrounding area. Train station inn restaurant, which is next door, was excellent, unique experience and highly recommended! We also enjoyed our visit to Mable Murples Bookstore and Caldera Distilling, picking up strawberries at Mountain Farm U-Pick and the beautiful Rushtons beach! Recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Beautiful location right on the water. Owner was great at communicating and gave some great tips for the area. Cottage was well kept, clean, comfortable and felt at home. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan on returning in the future!

Lovely cottages with an amazing view! Great location, less than 10 minutes to Tatamagouche to pick up groceries or forgotten items, a really great area and the warmest water for swimming. We had a wonderful few days relaxing and would love to return someday. Thanks so much!

This was our favourite stay of the entire NS road trip! The hospitality is top notch (they provided local beers when the brewery was closed on thanksgiving and endless suggestions of things to do in the local area). The house itself was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with a wonderful selection of teas from around the world. Would highly recommend! ☺️

Angus and Michael are two special people! Their house is amazing and they are so kind and thoughtful. The bathroom was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Most relaxed I have felt in weeks!

We enjoyed a short but lovely stay with Angus and Michael. They are warmhearted and friendly hosts, trying their best to make you feel at home. The house is simply amazing and radiates a great cosiness. Ideal to spend a bit more time and take some tours along the Acadian Coast.
