The house is very comfortable, well appointed in a very nice neighborhood and only 7 minutes from the Corning Glass and Rockwell Museum and historic downtown. Arlene was a great communicator and we enjoyed our stay. We have a 3 and 7 year old. Even though short.

Great little place conveniently located in Corning. Quick drive to the Glass museum or downtown and just down the road from Watkins Glen International. Host is very friendly, communicated the rules well and was available via text/call. The house is well equipped and very clean. Just be prepared that this is someone's house. So personal items are throughout. Downstairs shower is a little odd as there is a window and window sill right in there and gets wet but that seems to be intended.

Host is very helpful at check in and suggesting dining options. The house is cozy and located within short driving distance to the Corning Museum of Glass and other attractions. Second bathroom is small.

This house was in a great and strategic location for the Corning Museum of Glass and for two Finger Lakes: Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake. The driveway and street parking exceeded my expectations if I were to have had more people join my trip. The house had everything I needed: a kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a living room (I slept very comfortably in the living room couch). Jacqueline gave me great tips for where to eat at all locations. She checked in constantly to see if my stay was comfortable and she offered to make things better if there was an issue. I went for Father's Day Weekend and my parents gave Jacqueline and her home two thumbs up. If you want a perfect stay in Corning, then Jacqueline is the person you need to speak to in order to make that stay memorable.

Kelly's house was impeccable and better than my highest expectations. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a school's grass field just across the street. I spent the entire evening on the front porch swing without a single disturbance. The back yard is fenced in so I could unleash my pup and have her run around safely. The house itself was very nice and did not lack in amenities. Bed was comfortable, shower worked well, Keurig provided coffee. What more do you need? 100% recommend.

Kelly's house is a beautiful home within walking distance to the Corning Museum of Glass and shops and restaurants on Market St. She keeps the house very clean and it is very well decorated. We absolutely recommend staying here!

Kelly's bungalow was adorable and we felt very welcome and comfortable. The entire place was spotless and well-equipped. We could walk to the grocery store and downtown Corning (about a mile) and the glass museum. Highly recommend!

We were in Corning, NY on our way back to Michigan after a family visit in Massachusetts. Kelly's home was the perfect stop for an overnight stay and a visit the next day to the Corning Museum of Glass before we headed west again. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. We enjoyed looking at the pins on the map showing all the places she's visited around the world. She even left a bottle of wine for us and Keurig coffee for the next day. We recommend Kelly's home and would visit again if we were in the area.

Kelly's house was great! Perfect place to spend a night or two while visiting Corning. Clean, quiet, and comfortable! The location is very close to all things you'd want to do downtown, but not in the thick of it, for some peace and quiet. We very much appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine and the excellent beverage station with coffee and the like. Providing a handful of just-in-case toiletries was very thoughtful as well! Kelly was very accommodating with any questions we had. I strongly recommend!

Kelly's place is exactly as advertised. It's the whole house with full kitchen and a TV with Internet/Netflix/Hulu all included. So it was a nice change from some of the cramped places we'd been staying in, and a great bargain. We were left to our own devices for the most part, but Kelly left us detailed instructions on how to access the house and all the amenities. We had a wonderful time.

Our stay at Kelly's place was awesome. We came for a wedding in Elmira which was 30 minutes away but Corning was amazing. We spent all of our free time on market street which was a five minute drive away. Kelly's neighborhood was great and her home is quaint. The place was clean and you can tell that there is lots of love in that home. She left us all the toiletries we could possibly need and left all sorts of information about the area. She even left us a bottle of wine. If and when we return to the area this will definitely be the place we stay. Thank you so much Kelly!!

This was a nice quiet house to relax in after a busy day of exploring the wineries or Corning. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The Netflix was a plus! It was close to the restaurants and shops of Corning - we were able to walk into town. Definitely a good space for two people or a family.

This is a wonderful little house. The beds are comfortable, and the living room is a great size for either a couple or a group of four. The kitchen is small, but very functional. We cooked two breakfasts and two dinners while there, and found it better than expected. Also, the water pressure in the shower is amazing. It is a pretty easy walk to downtown Corning or the Museum of Glass. Only thing missing for a larger group is a table to eat indoors. But for two people there is a small table in the kitchen that we found great. Overall, a better experience than expected. We will be back.

The house is very nice, but on a very steep hill. Parking is a bit tricky with 2 vehicles, but can be done. Not far from downtown though, including dining and shopping, and Corning Glass, so big plus there!

We stayed for only one night but wish if we could stay longer. Cara's place is a very nice and comfortable house with the best kitchen. She advised us to go to Wegmans shop for foods and allowed us to cook our meals because we were starving for homier food after so many days traveling away from home. The place is 5 min walking to the Corning Museum of Glass. It is a highly recommended museum to visit. Cara and Bryan helped with advice to get to the Watkins Glen State park. We enjoyed very much staying at Cara's place and will definitely recommend to our friends. We will stay there again on our next trips in future

Perfect location while I took a 2 week class at Corning Museum of Glass. Very close to Museum. Short walk, even shorter drive. Cara and Brandon made me feel very welcomed from the moment I arrived. They gave me some space in the fridge and explained I had free reign of using the kitchen and the rest of the house which which was nice. The room is really nice and clean. New carpet. The bed is extremely comfortable. Nice cold air conditioning in room. There is a huge t.v. in the room although I do not watch television. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom. There is laundry down in the basement, it was really nice to be able to do laundry. The wifi was a bit slow in the bedroom, but other than that I really enjoyed my stay here. They also have a really nice dog and a really affectionate cat. Thanks again Cara and Brandon!

Cara and Brandon's place was a tidy and well kept home. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Their dog and cat were both very sweet and I was happy to get some cuddles. If you're not a pet enthusiast, you could still enjoy this home as they were very well behaved. Cara was especially sweet and left us some items for breakfast and coffee. She and Brandon also suggested a great place for dinner that was in close walking distance in a very cute town. It was a great place to stay!

First AirBnB stay. Didn't get to meet Cara but did get to spend time with her people-friendly cat who loves attention. Her cat is a big plus! Cara communicated very well and quickly answered my questions. She was very accommodating and easy to get along with. Room was nice and spotless clean. Slept great on the bed. Plenty of covers and pillows. Bathroom is right next door to bedroom. Quiet neighborhood. On map, house looks close to busy highway but heard very little to no noise with the windows closed. A non-issue. Plenty of places to eat (Market St) less than a mile away. I'd definitely stay here again.

Mamie was very prompt in initial communications. She was unable to be onsite during our stay, but we were greeted very warmly by Mohamed who did all he could to make us feel at home. Mamie had baked bread for us and left a few other provisions which made our arrival easier. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and has a large outdoor area, including a deck overlooking a wooded area. The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen appliances, entertainment options, a laundry room and an office room. The neighborhood is quiet, yet not too far from Elmira and Corning and has a shopping center close by. The hospitality was so very warm and thoughtful, enhancing our entire visit to the area. We would definitely return another time.

You will not find hosts as gracious as Mamie and Mohammed. They were anxious to help in every way and we enjoyed coffee/tea with them. It is a very nice setting, quiet in a family-oriented neighborhood. All the basics were provided. Toaster, coffeemaker, place settings for 4 for everything, utensils. We preferred our own towels. It was wonderful having a laundry room!

We had a very pleasant stay here. The place is immaculate, comfortable, with everything you'd need. We especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds flit around the flower pots on our back sitting area. The location is very quiet; very nice neighborhood. You can't really walk to anything, but the shops, restaurants and Corning Glass are a quick 5 minute drive. Mamie and Mohammed were so helpful--they gave us a flashlight to help with our after dark returns buttoning up our bike and going down the steps to the apartment and Mamie welcomed us with fresh baked bread.

We enjoyed having the whole first floor to ourselves, complete with kitchen facilities and Netflix on the TV (while rain poured down outside). We also appreciated that we could walk to the museums and restaurants, leaving the car parked off-street. The Corning Glass Museum is definitely worth seeing (we spent one whole day there); the Rockwell Museum and the Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes don't need as much time, but are also interesting.

October House is the most delightful and interesting house as befits such delightful and interesting hosts. Nancy couldn't have made us more welcome, taking time to show us where everything was located and providing us with lots of information about the locality. The kitchen is very well equipped and Nancy had kindly provided us with a welcome pack of food essentials too. Our only disappointment was only having booked for one night on our tour. It is a very attractive house and area; we need to return for a longer visit. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Nancy was PHENOMENAL! Her house was gorgeous and immaculate! She had everything we could ever need - maps, brochures, restaurant recommendations. She had all different kinds of shampoos and toiletries in her bathroom and any type of coffee - drip, expresso, regular - and croissants from Quebec! Better than any hotel for sure. Camille's cozy cottage is truly as described. I spent a week enjoying the comforts of home while taking an intensive glass class at Corning. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. My husband was charmed by the water fountain in the backyard garden. It was the perfect choice for us! Camille's place was the perfect home base for a fall weekend in Corning. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, it's close to the main commercial district, definitely safe and walkable. The cottage is warm and comfortable with great natural light and ample private outdoor space too. The backyard fire pit was a highlight. Sliding doors open from the kitchen to the covered back porch, creating a functional and experiential connection of the interior and exterior spaces. Great stay at the cozy cottage. The description and pictures are very accurate. Easy walk to downtown Corning and the Glass Museum. And Corning is a great home base for day trips out to explore the finger lakes. Communication with Camille was outstanding. She was prompt, accommodating, and very comfortable to deal with.

The "cozy cottage" was a beautiful, peaceful place. The whole house was comfortable and easy to feel right at home. The backyard was absolutely amazing and definitely a highlight. Camille was just as wonderful - she was welcoming, approachable, and very helpful. I stayed here while visiting friends and family so I'm already familiar with the area, but she is still very good at recommending different things to do for those who don't know the area very well. Everything was warm and welcoming and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The new cozy hipster pad is exactly true to its description. After a day of visiting with family and friends, it was perfect to be able to lay our son to sleep in his portable crib, read a little on the comfy couch, and then drift off to sleep. In the morning, we LOVED strolling up and down Market Street, unashamedly catching a few Pokémon, and getting breakfast and coffee at a local café. The location really is the best. Amy and Valerie were easily reachable by text and made arrival as simple as can be. We will definitely be staying here anytime we visit again in the future. This place is fantastic. Right in the heart of Corning's nightlife. Lots of good eats nearby with plenty to do. The apartment is gorgeous and Amy and Valerie are very accommodating. Will stay again!

Amy was responsive and she was a big help when working out logistics. The apartment was adorable; bright and spacious and right above Market Street. It was also surprisingly quiet, there was a band playing on Market Street one night but we couldn't hear the music inside of the apartment.

She even told us the secrets to the parking rules to make sure we had a good experience in Corning. The place is beautifully renovated. It has a great kitchen, was super comfortable. It could not be in a better location to explore Corning. When we come back to Corning to visit the glass museum again, there is nowhere else I want to stay!

This was a great location in Corning - fun to stay in a historic building right in the downtown area. Most things we did were walkable from the apartment - the glass museum, stores, etc. Amy was quick to respond if we had any questions, and we had no issues with the place - nice and comfy, good kitchen, lovely sitting area, and great bed. Jennifer and Noel were very welcoming and met my dog and I at their lovely home. I felt like I was staying with my family - which was very nice considering I had just left our family cottage in Canada and was traveling alone. The house was clean and cheerful and I appreciated being able to travel and stay with my dog. The kitchen was stocked with fruit, cereal, milk and lovely coffees and teas. I enjoyed a glass of locally produced Finger Lakes wine on the front porch while my dog watched through a closed gate. Very comfy, homey and safe feeling. I would certainly not hesitate to recommend the place to family traveling to see me wishing to break up the visit. Thank you Jennifer for your kindness!

This house is as beautiful and welcoming as it looks in the pictures, and it was such a pleasure to stay there for two days. Jennifer was there to meet us, made herself easily available by phone in case we needed anything, stocked the kitchen with bagels and fruit and juices and excellent coffee, and was simply a charming, thoughtful, and generous host. The house is in a quiet and enticing neighborhood, an easy and quick walk to downtown, to the CMOG, to the YMCA, to Wegman's. We slept soundly in a very comfy bed, had coffee on the tranquil front porch each morning, and cooked easily and gratifyingly in the well-stocked kitchen. We had our big dog with us, and Jennifer welcomed him as happily as she did us. The house is so well-maintained and cared for that there were absolutely no bumps in our stay. Everything worked so smoothly that we felt completely at home and at ease. It's hard to imagine what could have been better about our experience in Jennifer's house. Probably nothing, really. She paid close attention to the small details, and she has a notebook that explains pretty much any question a visitor might have about the house. We settled in immediately, and we were sorry to have to leave after only a couple days. The next time we have some time to visit Corning, this is the place we'll hope to stay.

Located within easy walking distance of the Corning Museum of Glass, this loft in a charming house provides a quiet resting place for those visiting the Museum. Looking out my bedroom window, I could see the museum lobby. The kitchen area had everything that I needed to prepare my meals and I ate most breakfasts and dinners at the house. The hosts went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful, making the transition to my extended stay quite enjoyable. The best times were the quiet mornings eating breakfast sitting in the screened in patio attached to the back of the house watching the sun come up through the trees. For anyone doing a workshop at the museum and needing a longer term place to stay, this is an outstanding choice.

KEY for ME was proximity to CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS - literally across the street... HOST was super nice - 'my house is your house' and meant it Quiet neighborhood. Tho when the Corning MORNING SIREN GOES OFF EVERY DAY BUT (URL HIDDEN) was a surprise..... WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN and RESTAY.....

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Eric's! The room was super cozy, comfy and warm. We were taking classes at the Corning Museum of Glass, and his house is a convenient drive to the studio. Eric was great and we loved hearing about his world travels! We would definitely stay there again.

My stay at Eric's house was absolutely very nice: the communication for my arrival worked out great. The room and house is just as can bee seen on the pictures. Everything was very clean and well equipped. The location only about 15 minutes away per foot from the Corning Museum of Glass was perfect for me. I am very much looking forward to coming back to Corning and see Eric and his colleagues at his exciting work place at the museum's Innovation Center.

Eric was an excellent host and his home was absolutely perfect for my stay in Corning. It is located just a few blocks from the heart of town, well within walking distance of everything Corning has to offer. The location was absolutely perfect for us. We chose Eric's comfy home for the Wineglass Marathon and were please with the quiet comfortable location. Eric was an easy going host and while we didn't interact much we were happy with every aspect of our stay.

Joe and his wife Shelly were great. Shelly met with us to give us the keys even though we arrived a bit late in the evening. She walked us through the apartment and explained the parking situation. The apartment was perfect for our needs and there was plenty of street parking available. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Joe made us feel very welcome. He communicated with us the day before arrival and met us at the property right on time. We did not require anything while there and he respected our privacy by leaving us alone. The weather was cold, ice and snow on the ground, but the apt was warm and cozy. New windows really make a difference. I was concerned about the street parking but there was always a place right out front. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. All in all a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Al's place was cozy and restful and secluded exactly as advertised. He was extremely welcoming and there to meet whatever needs we had. Breakfast this morning was just about anything we could want....and so happy that the coffee was on at 5 a.m! Will definitely stop here or next time through.

Al & Cathy were simply great! We were coming back here the second time to celebrate our engagement. They went above and beyond to make our little weekend getaway super special. From champagne, wine, candles and handmade cards to handmade soap gifts, Halloween treats they thought of everything! Love this place and we will be back again!

Al was there when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. We were very impressed with the standard of the accommodation and highly recommend Al and Cathy's place for other travellers.

We had a nice two-day stay at Al's place. There were plenty of options for breakfast, he had lots of local knowledge about places to go and restaurants to eat at, and the surroundings were comfortable and well thought out.

Al was very helpful and gracious. No problems on any front. I did not take advantage of the offered breakfast, nor did I have a lot of time at the B and B as I was there working most of the time but I would / will definitely visit his place again should there be availability as it is / was all I would want when I am coming to town.

I've stayed at places around the world and rate this at the top. Perfect spot if you're in town for a weekend at Watkins Glen International.

Beautiful location, easy on and off highway. Nice rooms great service and early coffee! Wood heat was toasty and welcoming on cold days.

I had a nice stay here while I took a week long class at the CMOG studio. The rooms were very clean.

JoAnn greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the rooms and also her personal art collection. She is very knowledgable about the area and helpful in every way. Plenty of hot water, towels and a clean comfortable bed. We had a one night stay and it was perfect as a jumping off point for our day in the Finger Lakes. Thank you JoAnn

Staying at JoAnn's was totally awesome! She accommodated our somewhat late arrival with no problem and allowed us to store our bikes on her front porch. The rooms were very quaint and clean. She cleaned the room daily and changed towels for us. We were able to use microwave and store our food at the fridge upstairs. JoAnn was also great at telling us all kinds of awesome historic facts about Corning. She seems to know everyone in town and can guide you on the things happening in Corning. We even got the "good-bye" hugs on the way out! Location of the house is very convenient for exploring Corning. We would totally recommend JoAnn's house to anyone who wants to stay in Corning!

Nice, cozy house and an excellent location for a week at CMOG and the Rakow Library. It was great to have a microwave and cutlery in the room so I didn't have to eat out every night. JoAnn is very welcoming!

What a lovely warm welcome I received from JoAnn, with a nice cup of tea sitting outside in her large and colourful backyard. The house is lovely, comfortable,spotlessly clean and with loads of artworks to admire. Room well set up with crockery, cutlery and microwave; freshly washed towels every day and a comfortable bed. A pleasantly quiet neighbourhood with about 10-15 minute walk into town. Would stay again if in this area.

JoAnn is an incredible host..warm and welcoming! The rooms are charming, clean and have an eclectic collection of art and furniture. I would recommend the Painted Lady home to anyone just visiting Corning or for those who have to find a peaceful atmosphere to hide away and do some work.

Rhonda greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of her home, and introduced us to her dog. The house is bright, warm, clean and inviting. The room was comfortable with plenty of closet and drawer space. The house is within walking distance of downtown Corning which is a plus!

Rhonda's home is incredibly decorated and well maintained. It is absolutely beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Rhonda is very helpful with tips and recommendations. Safe and easy to navigate. Parking is simple. I especially appreciate Rhonda's eco-friendly living. I also highly recommend trying Hand + Foot for drinks and food-- try the Poke! It's awesome!

Easy walk to market street with shops, food and drinks. Very nice home and easy to locate.

Had a great stay with Rhonda and the lovable lunk, Sadie, my puppy-buddy. The house was in a great location, I was able to come and go as I needed and Rhonda was wonderful to chat with. My room was clean and comfy, I especially enjoyed the heated bed, as I was in Corning during the Polar Vortex cold snap. I didn't use the kitchen much, but it was very well equipped and the coffee in the mornings was awesome. Rhonda was a wonderful, down to earth lady and I would certainly relish another chance to stay at her house.

Lovely, clean garden home in a quiet but convenient location. Rhonda is a friendly, helpful, and organized host, she made my short stay as pleasant as possible.
