  • Great Airbnb cottage!. So cute inside and a lot of space. I absolutely loved the bathroom and bathtub shower combo! It’s a terrific location to get anywhere in the Port Austin area.

    Katherine2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Darcie's place was perfect for what we needed! Two private rooms made staying with another couple fun and easy. The location is close to town and right at the end of the road is a small patch of beach that was perfect for taking our dog swimming :) Darcie was always very quick to respond and was very helpful throughout the entire process.

Quaint old fashioned cottage, right on the water of lake Huron, it may not have all the technology but the view is worth a million dollars!! It has fireplace, and a porch area for enjoying the view, eating at, and playing games. It has a stand up shower, and all the comforts of home minus the technology. If you need a place to get away and refresh yourself this is it. It's very quiet. I've noticed 2 things from the fresh air, you eat more and sleep more!!
The beach in front is rocky but after you get out in the water a bit it gets sandy. You will definitely want to have beach shoes so you don't stub your toes. There also is a fire pit outside, which I use more frequently. There's nothing like enjoying a smore under the amazing stars. On a clear night it's breathtaking and if you keep watching closely, you may see a shooting star!!
It is the view of the lake that is captivating, the peacefulness and the quietness of the neighborhood, is so renewing, getting away from the hustle and bustle, I'm sure you'll want to come back! I've been coming since I was a little boy, a piece of my heart belongs here for sure!
  • Great location and price! John’s cottage was perfect for our family of five and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway! The view of the lake was spectacular and we really enjoyed sitting in the sunroom, watching the sunset and waves. John was super helpful and quick to respond to questions. We would definitely recommend his place and will certainly come back!

    Jennifer2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This charming cottage is a place you will not want to leave. The porch is amazing. You will enjoy eating meals, covered from any bugs (note: there were less bugs than I expected outside), while enjoying the fresh, lake kissed air, and relaxing sound of waves. While we were there, the waves were 3-5 feet, so we had a blast swimming in them. Lake Huron is gorgeous, even more so when it’s in the back yard. The lawn is soft, lush and green; A barefoot walker’s dream. You can take a beautiful stroll to the lighthouse a few doors down. We spent a lot of time sitting in the swing by the water and fire pit. There is so much to do right at this cottage, you really don’t even need to get back in your car if you don’t want to. It is not common to be in a place where one may enjoy such a magnificent sunrise AND sunset. The beds were far more comfortable than we expected. We loved the games. There are even yard games; there is a vintage croquet set of high-quality workmanship (they don’t make things like they used to). The kids loved it. They had never played it before. We all had such a relaxing time. We hope to return.

    Dani2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • The magnificent view of Lake Huron is only the icing on the cake of a stay at John's place. There is almost no traffic on the road to his cottage. And the sights on that road are lovely. If you cannot relax here, you cannot relax!

    David2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • John's place has a nostalgic feel that cannot be recreated. From the vintage furniture to the faint smell of wood smoke, I couldn't help reliving childhood memories of a similar cabin we stayed at. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The view and sound of the waves crashing cannot be beat. We appreciated all the board games and many clean towels. My family created some fond memories and I would love to stay there again if we visited the area.

    Jamie2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome vintage cottage on Lake Huron. Access for kayaks on property at waters edge. Outstanding view of the lake. Many local attractions within 20 minutes. John is super friendly and a great host.

    Allison2019-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • If you love quaint surroundings, a porch with early morning warmth from the rising sun, the sound of waves and birds, this is the place to go!

    Suzanne2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage brought back wonderful memories of the places my parents would rent when I was a kid--right down to the croquet set. It's a sweet little cottage right on Lake Huron. If you want a place where you can open the windows and hear the waves crashing, this is it. Very clean, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The bathroom is also stocked with toiletries including hair dryer. John is a fantastic host--friendly and helpful. He even supplies the firewood. The keyless entry made checking in a breeze. A couple of notes future renters might find helpful: Internet in the area is pretty much non-existent if you happen to have TMobile. The only place in Port Austin I was able to get a signal was at the Lake Street Emporium. (But unless there's someone you must check in with, the peace and serenity that comes from having no internet at the cottage is definitely an added amenity.) Also, the deer in this area are plentiful, so you'll want to be extra vigilant when driving, especially at dusk. Explore the area, and enjoy the tranquility that comes from staying at John's place!

    Martha2018-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • I just wanted to let you know, it WAS a million dollar view!! The cottage was filled with such character and I could feel God's presence there! We can't thank you enough for letting us come stay there! It was just what we needed! The radio was on the perfect station! and no tv or phone service helped us to connect on a deeper level... God Bless you and your Cottage! We want to come back next year too!

A renovated old church, The Kinde Chapel is a great place for anyone seeking an interesting place to stay that offers all the necessary amenities. The Kinde Chapel is close to family-friendly activities like the beaches of Lake Huron, horseback riding, farmers markets and more! You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the neighborhood, and the light. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups.
You will have full access to the home while you stay. A large main hall, extra large kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.
Quick drive into Port Austin where there is a great farmers market, kayaking, public beach, and restaurants and bars. 15 minutes away from Caseville which has restaurants/bars and beach access. In town there is a great restaurant called The Pasta House just a block away (walkable) and a bowling alley down the road. Neighborhood also offers a golf course, winery and horseback riding just minutes away.
  • This was a unique find for us, and we loved it! We stayed in the Kinde Chapel for 3 nights. The amount of space was wonderful. Catherine was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

    Stephanie2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is the 2nd time friends and I stayed at the chapel! Great place for a friends weekend with plenty of room for everyone and not too far from Port Austin and Caseville! Considering the location and price I would recommend staying here.

    Courtney2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay here. The place is extremely spacious. Towels and sheets were soft and comfy (I have sensitive skin). The board games were lots of fun, too. Thank you!

    Yuanxiao2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The place was so perfect for a surprise birthday trip to the thumb. Plenty of room for a good size crowd to not get too cramped! There were plenty of dishes, towels, and anything else we needed!

  • Amazing place.

    Sheri2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location to experience Michigan in the fall. If you’re looking to get away to relax and recharge this is the place for you. Gary was a pleasure to talk to and knowledgeable of the area. It was great to have a canoe available for use to explore the river. A bonus was being able to bring my dog who loved exploring the area. We will definitely be back!

    Dana2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Gary’s place is a clean, comfortable, no-frills cabin attached to his home. There isn’t a kitchen, but a gas grill is provided for cooking. Everything else you need is included—shampoo, conditioner, towels, a microwave, toaster, and coffee pot, and there’s a lovely little fire pit just a short walk down the trail to the river’s edge. We used Gary’s canoe to paddle 2 miles down the Pinnebog River to Lake Huron. It was beautiful and relaxing! Just be sure to bring your own coffee if you need a cup o’ joe every morning like I do. Gary is a lovely and communicative host. Would stay again!

    Meg2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to get away! Place has everything you need, fridge, bathroom stocked with toiletries, microwave and grill. The view is spectacular and Gary is a friendly and laid back guy. I would recommend this place!

  • Amazing!!! The canoe trip to the mouth of the river is a must do.

    Sheri2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect getaway! It is very peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. The room is simple, but was perfect for what we needed. If you are looking for something fancy this is not it. If you are looking to get away and recharge- this is the perfect place. We spent most of the time down by the water (fire pit, canoe and fishing) or on the porch looking at the amazing views.

  • Fabulous location. Endless amenities. Kind and thoughtful hosts. I was pleasantly surprised with this stay and would definitely recommend/stay again next time I'm in the area.

  • A clean, cozy, simple space in a great location near the beach. June and George are very kind, which was a bonus! I would recommend and stay again

    Veronica2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This space was comfy, clean, and quiet. I have been coming to Caseville since I was a baby due to having our own cottages and have never stayed anywhere but there until now and this stay was everything I could have asked for. Right near the beach and that party store with ice cream! June and her husband were friendly and inviting. Definitely would stay here again!

    Hailey2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • The fire-ring outdoors was the star of the show and they also had accommodations for coffee in the morning. The beds were comfortable. The space was quite adequate for our needs.

    Uriah2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Hosts we extremely accommodating and awesome with communication. They were very helpful suggesting things to do and places to eat. The space is as described and maintained well. I would give it a 7 out for 10 for cleanliness if I had to say anything that was just ok. Would definitely go back. A+++ hosts.

    Landon2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • So glad to have lucked into this great private loft in the perfect location! June & George are wonderful, hospitable hosts and the greatest people. The colorful backyard is a great view from the loft and a relaxing spot for your morning coffee, reading or bonfire. The beach is truly walking distance just down the road, and a perfect white sand Lake Huron beach you can walk out in the water for quite some distance. Great swimming, fun and peaceful beach for us grown-ups and the kiddies, even on a cool day with the sun shining. The loft is right in between Port Austin Village and Caseville--a perfect spot. Fun beer garden and Saturday farmer's market in town, and great shoppes and breakfast there and in Caseville...local brewery, distillery, wine, coffee shops, and ice cream all around! Don't miss Grindstone's ice cream cones outside of town. The pantry at the corner by Oak Beach makes the best pizza; get your blt here! Beach, eat, sleep, meander, repeat. And hiking right across the way! Love the view from the skylights and colorful table and chairs in this comfy loft. Map out your travels here from the area brochure guides in the loft. June and George have great area recommendations. Would love to stay here again next time in the thumb.

  • George and Marvin (his dog) were terrific hosts! He has done an amazing job of bringing life back to the historic building (updates and renovations). The unit was clean and has all the amenities you could need on vacation. It is a hidden gem at the tip of Michigan's 'thumb!' We thoroughly enjoyed the early sunrises over Lake Huron and our entire relaxing stay.

    Katie2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was truly an amazing find! Great location to get away from it all but only a short drive into town. Shelley’s bar n grill (and small store) is a stones throw away and the marina is super close to launch a boat or grab a bite at Captain Morgan’s. The house is amazing! So much history, spectacular views of Lake Huron and the breath taking sunrise off the large balcony. The renovated space was clean, comfortable, and stylish with the exposed stone in every room. You can pack light as the house has pretty much all you’ll need. George and his dog Marvin🐾 are very friendly and make you feel right at home! We left feeling as though we’ve been long time friends and are looking forward to our next trip up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Just a gorgeous place and view - George is the BEST, such a kind man - and shared tips about the area with us. It is the most serene place ever, a little outside the hustle and bustle of Port Austin but not far at all. We will be back. It was magnificent!

  • Just ended an absolutely perfect family vacation with our friends and our young ones at this place and I cannot recommend it enough! The location is absolutely beautiful!! It’s so peaceful here and caters to adults and kids alike. The place is clean, updated and spacious. Herb has thought of everything you will need during your stay and if you end up needing anything else- he’ll get it to in the blink of an eye. Herb was thoughtful in including some tips on local recreation and food too which we took advantage of. You will not be disappointed with this place!

  • Had a lovely long weekend at Herb's place! Check in was very easy and Herb was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was beautiful - very private and right on Lake Huron. The beach was pristine and Herb even stocked firewood for us so we could roast s'mores every night! The beach is a perfect mix of sunny and shady. The house has everything you need and then some. Lots of space for a family of four to relax, play games, or watch tv. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable too. Can't wait to come again.

Cozy cottage a place to relax and enjoy sitting outdoors on a sunny day or playing games indoors on a rainy day
Miles of beach and many nature trails surround the area.

  • Nice quiet residential location with friendly neighbors. The easement to the beach was super close (just 3 houses down) and we were the only ones there every time we went. Great views of the sunset and the beach is super shallow with a sandbar, so it was great swimming for my small boys.

    Kelly2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This home is in an amazing location. The neighborhood is on a dead end street so there is virtually no traffic. There were kids in the neighborhood so very family friendly. The closest neighbors were very friendly and made sure to greet us, but everyone we encountered had a wave hello and a smile. The beach access in about 40 feet from the home, and the beach is beautiful. The water was sandy and at the perfect temperature, very clean area. The home was a bit bigger than it looked in the pictures. It had everything you could need including games in case of rain. It is located 9 miles from both Caseville and Port Austin so it is a great option if you're visiting either. We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay!

(This is good information to know if you have small children) There are 2 full beds upstairs, one twin, and a pullout couch. There are 2 twin beds in the basement. The basement isn't as nice as the upstairs but is still comfortable enough to sleep in and a great space as you're exiting the beach front and need to dry off or rinse off sand! Garbage pick up is on Monday and it all goes in the wooden bin up by the road. We have parking in front of house for larger groups (fits 8 cars and boat trailer) Two grills on the property, one gas and one charcoal Kitchen is stocked with all the basic utensils and cookware. There is a coffee maker and microwave available. Kitchen table seats 6 ( there are 3 extra tin chairs in the basement) Main floor has 2 AC window units Tv with DVD player is available in the family room The beach has a fire pit on the water *Lots of rocks on the beach, so I would recommend water shoes. The Cottage is 2 miles from Port Austin and 17 miles from Caseville 4 useable kayaks and a pedal boat are included with the cottage 2 reclining patio chairs -- basement. There is a washer and dryer to use for your stay -- located in the basement. There is a code for both doors that you will be given shortly before your stay If you have any questions please call Sandy at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
  • This property has a great private beach and a spectacular view of the sunset. The beach is large and clean. My 11-month old granddaughter had a wonderful time in the sand! There is lots to do; picnic table, paddle boat, kayaks, inflatables, cards, games and a fire pit. The cottage was very clean which is a must for me. There were lots of linens and the kitchen is very well stocked with pot pans, utensil, flatware and tableware. We were able to find everything we needed. We did not use the grill but there is one available. A nice plus is a washer and dryer. We had a wonderful time and all of the neighbors we encountered were very polite and friendly. We had four cars and there was plenty of room for parking. The property is very close to "downtown" Port Austin which has nice places to eat and several shops...and great ice cream and bakeries. We had dinner at "The Bank" which is a restored bank founded in 1884. The food was very good and all five of our group found just what they wanted.

  • We had an exceptional stay. What an amazing sandy beach. This is definitely the star factor, even though all aspects of our stay were great. Enough can't be said about the beach. You can walk out into the water for what seems like miles, with the water only up to your chest and this is when the water is high, as it was this year. With more usual water levels, the water is probably only up to your belly button. AMAZING! Soft sand projects endlessly into the water. You can walk firm footed pretty much endlessly on soft sand with absolutely no weeds, muck, etc. The sand goes all the way up to the house. I literally went barefoot for the entire 4 day stay. I brought sandals, water shoes, and sneakers, but needed none of them. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boating, bonfires, and grilling. The sun sets square in front of you across the water. Majestic views. We took great pictures. It felt like being home. Basically, everything was provided, except food. There were extra water toys for kids. Even propane and bonfire wood were provided and included. I definitely plan on staying again. Sandy was very prompt every time I had a question. She would respond almost immediately, generally within just a few minutes. Thank you Sandy. I hope to talk to you again next year! :)

  • Sandy is a great host. She has a wonderful home right on Lake Huron with some of the best sunsets I have ever seen! You will not be disappointed as there is a lot to see and do in the surrounding area.

    Javier2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful cottage in the perfect location! We absolutely loved the sandy beach and bonfires while watching gorgeous sunsets. No WiFi or cabletv, but “unplugging” for a few days was kind of nice!!! We will definitely like to come back!!

    Nikki2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome beachfront cottage! Everything a family needs to make some great vacation memories! Couldn't ask for anything more... including the excellent host!

  • This place was perfect for our family get away. We can’t wait to come back.

    Nichol2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean house on the beach. Both our teenagers and littles enjoyed every minute. Thankful there were extra towels and linens available so we didn't have to pack them. Laundry services was an awesome amenity for us even if we lived in our swimsuits. Would definitely consider booking next year if we can fit it in our kids schedule. The things we had to adapt to (cons): * full bath listed but really only 3 piece : no bath tub (my 17 month old is not a shower fan) * basement was awesome for laundry and a second toilet, especially if you were wet and sandy (my 3 year old loved this convenience) but my teenagers thought it was creepy to sleep in (thankfully we had a lot of room on the main floor) * the shower on the main floor is beautiful but in an awkward place (so if you are rounder like us..challenging to enter) and if the doors aren't just right...water leaks (after a shower or 2 we figured it out) Overall, I would book this listing next year like I mentioned. We have great memories and enjoyed every minute!

    Pamela2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Sandy’s place was perfectly clean and exactly what we needed for a weekend at the lake. The beach is large and sandy, and the fire pit on the water was great at night! Downstairs bathroom was a bonus when we were sandy. Would recommend for an easy weekend away.

The knotty pine walls and hard wood floors cottage is located on the sandy shore of Lake Huron between Caseville and Port Austin. The sunsets are unique every night. Relax and enjoy your stay. In 2020 all LED light bulbs were added to the interior of the cabin.
The master bedroom has a queen bed with lake view & access. Bedroom 2 & 3 share a bathroom. Most of the cabin has knotty pine walls and hardwood floors. The family room "blue room", has a TV with access to WiFi for streaming your movies. We do keep DVDs, books, games and cards at the cabin for our guests use. There are 2 kayaks out for your use, at your own risk.
The cabin is located in a family neighborhood. The Farmers Market in Port Austin is a must on Saturdays from May until October. Port Austin & Caseville are small towns with a lot of charm.
  • Nice place

    Omar2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cottage right on the lake , exactly as described. Indoor and outdoor porch for the cool or rainy nights. Nice sandy beach right out front with steps going down. Clean upon our arrival with all amenities that would be needed. 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, full living room and a laundry room. More room than home, (not really but more than enough for vacation) . Lynda was very prompt and nice when we asked questions prior to booking. Check in was easy just as she described. We are looking forward to booking next year already.

  • This place is awesome, we couldn't ask for anything better than this place. The location is very convenient, you are in the middle of 2 towns were you can get groceries or whatever you need, also the access to the beach is just few steps from the house, you would want to go stargazing. Corey was very responsive at all times, this is what I call a Super Host.

  • We enjoyed our fall color trip with our stay at Emily's cottage. The Lake Huron views from the cottage are beautiful. It is in a great location. We walked on the breakwater and around town. It was just two of us, but were surprised at the amount of people this cottage could hold. The sunset was great. We enjoyed a crystal clear night by the fire pit. Perfect for star gazing. We saw two shooting stars. It we visit Port Austin in the future we will be back.

  • The pictures posted by the new owner looked amazing, so I booked unit 1 over president’s weekend. It’s located directly on the harbor and the beach only 100 yards away. On my arrival the keyless entry was easy and convenient. The unit was immaculate. It has been refurbished with new paint, mattresses and bedding. The mattress was so comfortable and the linens were high quality. The kitchen was stocked and had everything I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There were beautiful sunsets over the harbor every night and the gas fire place made it very cozy. The unit was centrally located to restaurants and shopping. I had a couple questions and Margaret responded immediately. I will definitely be back for a summer vacation. I highly recommend it!

  • Carol's cabin is stunning! My friends and I (total party of 7) had plenty of room for sleeping arrangements. The amenities are great (hot tub, ladder golf, large back deck, etc) and Carol is easy to communicate with. Fantastic place to stay if looking for a weekend getaway

    Nicholas2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Carol’s place is just as described on her listing. It is a beautiful log home right across the street from Lake Huron. It is a quick (<10 minute) drive to downtown Port Austin and sandy beaches. There is a bar/restaurant within walking distance, as well as some public (but rocky) shores of Lake Huron. Carol is a great communicator and adds special touches throughout the home. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

    Ellie2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at Carol’s place. I surprised my boyfriend with this trip for his birthday. It was just what we wanted. This place is very secluded but yet just minutes from Port Austin. Loved the back yard and the coziness. Carol was quick with responses and gave helpful recommendations about our stay and the town. Will be back!

  • A good location for a quiet getaway.

    Ashley2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Carol’s place was great! It was big enough for all of our guests. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. Carol left information on the area and gave us ideas on things to do. It was very hot on the first day without AC (Although it seemed to be an unusually hot day for the area). Carol had opened all the windows and turned the fans on to help cool down the place before we arrived. She left detailed instructions and communicated with me quickly.

    Elizabeth2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house and nice private location. Although there are neighbors, it is still very quiet and secluded. Carol was wonderful and responded quickly anytime I communicated with her. I would highly recommend her home for a nice quiet getaway!

  • Nicely appointed cottage with many extra features. Very spacious and clean. Short drive to sport Austin and several nearby beaches. • What a delightful gem in lovely Port Austin! The Nest is a wonderfully updated house full of special amenities from the beautiful decor including local artwork, to the soft sheets, to the ready-to-go beach bag, to the great smelling soaps; simply amazing. Smartly renovated, the place has an old world charm while surpassing modern day comfort and spacing requirements. Six people can easily stay here with the three queen beds. A cottage/house on a corner lot. It is a 5.minute walk to the beach and County Park. The park has grills restrooms and a playground. Oak Beach is all sand and you can walk a long ways out because of the sand bars. Beautiful scenery and beaches in the thumb.
  • Jodi is an amazing host. There was a small issue, I reached out to her at 10:30 PM. She was outstanding and concerned that my young children and I were completely comfortable. She got it taken care of and was GENUINELY concerned for our FUN vacation. Outstanding host. This location is PRIME, it is walking distance to a Nature preserve and Beach. If you turn left off her street you are 15 minutes to Downtown Caseville, to the right the same distance to Downtown Port Austin. Great vacation spot! I am sure if available we will be back.

  • Beautiful view!!!!! The house is older and somewhat small, but is sleeps at least 8, the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. It definitely feels like home. Being right on the beach was amazing!!!! If I had to critique anything it would be that the towels were old and the firepit was down by the beach and because of the high tides we couldn't use it because it was too heavy to carry up by the deck. I would definitely stay here again!!! The owners live upstairs but I never even heard them. Awesome rental house!!!

Sandy Spring is in a great location! You can walk to just about everything in Port Austin. The property is large with plenty of parking. The 3 bedroom/2 full bathroom house is newly renovated and cheerfully decorated with casual, modern furniture. Tiki bar in the garage. Great spot for vacationing or also for windmill workers working in the area. MIN rental is 7 days. Short walk or drive to Port Austin Kayak to kayak to Turnip Rock, or walk to the Saturday Farmers Market in the summer.
Outdoor deck, firepit, screened tiki bar in the garage, washer/dryer, wifi, cable TV, outside speakers, beach toys, hammock, gas grill.
Port Austin is located at the tip of the "Thumb" about 2hrs north of Detroit (3hrs from Detroit airport, 2hrs from Flint Airport). It is a port town located on Lake Huron. There are fishing charters available from Port Austin and Grindstone City. Great sandy beaches in Port Austin and the drive to Caseville. Nice breakwall to fish or watch the sunrise or sunset. Port Austin has one of the best farmers markets in the state on SATs from Memorial Weekend to late SEP. It also has a great 4th of July parade, car shows, bocce ball tournaments and is a great spot to relax and enjoy the fresh breeze, sound of the waves and spectacular view of the stars at night.
  • Great house, with a great vibe. Has lots of kitchen supplies if u like to cook. Close to everything but a bit off the main strip giving you privacy. It's nice being able to just walk places. It you want to just hang at home there are lots of games and things to just entertain yourself with at the home. The one thing that I would warn of Port Austin itself is it is a very "cash only" town!!

  • Bob was great to work with and immediately answered via email all the questions we had before our trip. We were pleasantly surprised at all of the things that were in the house: kitchenware, games, movies, beach toys, grill/supplies, bathroom supplies, etc. We liked the way the house was decorated, the tiki bar in the garage with the screen on the garage door, the fire pit and outside porch, the two full size bathrooms, and the location of the house being a few blocks from downtown, the beach, and a park.
