The property is located in the heart of the Sassi di Matera, 100 meters from Piazza Vittorio Veneto and has been recently renovated. Since the Sassi of Matera are a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), it is not possible to park the car on site, but in the surrounding areas there are both free and paid parking lots. Given the structure and the Sassi's conformation, it is not recommended for people with mobility difficulties. The additional cost of tourist tax is €2.00 per person per day and must be paid at the property.

Located in the Sasso Barisano, the San Biagio Suite is completely carved out of the tuff rock and offers the unique and magical experience of sleeping in the Sassi of Matera. The partition walls are made of frosted glass, but with a touch you can make them transparent so you can appreciate the environment in its evocative entirety. Le grotte hanno un loro particolare microclima che viene regolato da impianto di riscaldamento in inverno e deumidificazione quando necessario. Nello spazio esterno, arredato con tavolino e sedie, è possibile incontrare e fare amicizia con la mia gattina e con il mio cane, un dolcissimo Border Collie . Soggiornare in una grotta è un esperienza.

Free and paid street parking is available within a few minutes' walk, and paid guarded parking for the whole day costs from €10 to €25.
